Re: To Whom It May Concern
"No it wasn't. I made it hard for you to tell me because of how I was being and that was wrong of me. I'm so sorry." I stepped back and looked at her, "You're sure? Really sure?"
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I nodded. "There's twenty in the trashcan at home!" I replied with a small sob.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"Y-You did twenty pregnancy tests?!" I exclaimed, "Twenty? That's..." I was shocked, really shocked. Not mad but I found it hilarious. "Well I guess we can go on what those say then huh?"
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I nodded. "Only two were negative but I think it was because I didn't pee correctly..." I stated shakily.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"Okay okay, I understand." I kissed her again and held her close, "How does it feel?" I ventured, "Does it move or... will it do anything?" I stepped back again and got on my knees, "You still look the same..."
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"So it's really tiny then?" I was still examining her stomach out of curiosity, "Hehe... I'm going to be a daddy..." I hugged her from where I was on my knees with my ear to her stomach, "This is going to be a really fun trip."
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I giggled. "And a very good daddy too." I replied, patting the top of his head a bit. "You're the first to know."
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I looked up, "Actually, you were. The pregnancy tests told ya." I grinned, "I'm happy to know, I'm glad you told me before anyone else."
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I took her into the recording studio after a couple minutes of talking about it and found Dan who looked a little impatient.
"There you are!"
"Here I am!" I replied, "Did any of you make sure he took his chill pills?"
The all shook their heads.
"Great... he's going to need one for this."

I was hiding behind Matt the whole time. "I'm pregnant." I said from behind his back. I prepared myself to be tackled or anything. I didn't know what could be coming.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I watched Dan grin, "REALLY?! That means our 'I'm never having kids because...' guy finally did it!" He was making me twitch. He pushed past me and hugged Rae, "You're one of a kind to get him to change his mind! I can't wait to be an uncle!"
I sighed, "Dan we're not related..."
"I just can't wait!"
He was ignoring me.

Re: To Whom It May Concern
I giggled and hugged him back before stepping away. "I think it's okay for him to be an unrelated uncle! Uncle Dan! It has a nice ring to it!" I said with a happy nod. "Come on, Matt! You must admit!" I batted my eyelashes convincingly.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"Meh. He just won't be allowed to take our baby anywhere, that's all.'
Dan sighed, "I'm the parent of a five year old, Matt. Please don't forget that." He shook his head disapprovingly.

I winked at my husband. I wouldn't dare leave my child with Dan. "Yeah seriously, Matt! He has a five year old!" I said in a sarcastic voice in which the sarcasm could only be recognized by Matt. He was the only one who knew me well enough.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
So much shopping. I'd never had to go to the store so much in my life. To satisfy pretty much everything we needed, food, clothing for Rae and a whole bunch of tiny outfits for the baby. I had a crib I was putting together and other furniture.
Then on the floor when you walked in there was a place marked for the baby. I couldn't wait to see the name under ours.

Re: To Whom It May Concern
I rocked back and forth in the rocker, in the living room, with my hand on my belly. We would find out the gender today! I didn't want to wait...
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"Home! We'll leave in ten minutes!" I was running with large bags and boxes to the room upstairs, "Did you eat yet?!" I called loudly. The house often echoed. We still hadn't quite filled it up. I sat down the boxes and grinned, everything would be perfect.
It would be easier to buy stuff too after today. I couldn't say I wasn't having fun.

Re: To Whom It May Concern
I laughed. "Alright, I'm ready when you are, love!" I called back, flipping a page in my hot pink Bible. Yes, I still had the same one.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I trampled down the stairs without hesitating and shoved my cell phone in my pocket, "Okay, we'll grab something to eat on the way unless you want to wait for that." I was really shaky and jumpy on days like this. When it came to seeing the baby I just was never sure what to expect.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"We can grab something! I'm craving tacos! Can we go to Taco Bell?" I kissed his cheek after getting up and walking over to him.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
"I wouldn't mind Taco Bell." I said as we were leaving the house. I locked the doors and turned on the security system with the remote I carried around. I prayed over this house a lot.
We stopped at taco bell and ate and made it to the doctors in time for her appointment, which was giving me jitters.
Lord let this baby be healthy all the way through. And if anything is wrong, I leave the problem to You and know that You will watch over both Rae and baby. Thank You so much.

Re: To Whom It May Concern
I sat in the ultrasound room after waiting a bit. I was nervous. "Oh... I do hope it's okay!!" And that's what I did during every appointment. Like clockwork.
Re: To Whom It May Concern
I sat with my hands together against my forehead until the doctor came in. I heard the door open and she had arrived, turning on the machinery and then looking at us with a smile.
"Goodness, you two act like this is life or death!"
