"Are you leaving us Kay?" Mizu looked scared, she sat on the bed and hugged her knees. "Iwa can't live without you, and I don't want to..."

[Ikuar]

Kay laid Amber on a pillow and sighed wearily, "Iwa doesn't love me anymore, Mizu. He's not held Amber and ever since that one day he's been so quiet with me. He never even felt her kick. And when I needed him the most he wasn't there." She knew that was too much to say but it was all true.

"He doesn't love me anymore, Mizu... and I can't live with it."

Mizu burst into tears. "But he dose! He's scared! The reason he won't hold you or Amber is because he doesn't want her to get sick, he doesn't want you to know..." She stopped she wasn't supposed to tell Kay, then she shook her head she didn't care any-more. "HE'S SUPER SICK!" She sobbed. "But he's working hard on building things to make you and Amber happy, because he doesn't know what else to do!" Then too late she remembered Amber was sleeping and covered her mouth. "I'm sorry Kay.... I didn't mean to be so loud..." She said quietly, and sobbed into her knees.

Kay sighed, "I know he's sick. He thinks I'm not paying attention but I am and I have talked to him about sleeping more but he doesn't care. That's how I know he doesn't love me because he's allowing himself to get worse. I love him but he doesn't listen to me." Kay was the stronger of the two so it seemed. She was fighting cancer and still had the strength to look out for him and take care of a newborn.

Mizu shook her head and sobbed. "I don't know what to do to make him snap out of it!"

Iwa woke up for a moment, and walked into the house. He took a pain killer, and collapsed onto the couch not wanting to bother Kay or Amber. He stared at the ceiling unable to fall asleep again, and yet unable to stand on his own two feet. What was wrong with him. He was useless like this, he had to try to get some sleep, and talk to Kay later. He closed his eyes but still remained concious. It was impossible, his brain ran full speed with worries.

Two years later things had changed a lot. Akio married Mizu and Kay was still living in the same house. They had spats sometimes but it was ten times better than when Amber had been born.

It turned out that Akio and Iwa were into butting heads, much to Kay's disliking. The two were always having enormous disagreements.

Mizu's smile was glowing, as she came out of the restroom that morning. She walked to the kitchen still smiling, and made herself a bowl of cereal.

Iwa was making omelets for himself and Kay, he finished making Kay's and put it on a plate on the table, then began to make his own. He smiled to himself as he did. Glad everything had worked out. For a while it was shaky but he had gotten a hold of himself and everything seamed better now. Well everything except for Mizu. It seamed like every time he opened his mouth she got mad at him...

Akio saw Mizu come out and smiled, "Morning." He moved his chair over so she could sit with him. He had been very cheerful recently.

Mizu smiled at him, and blushed. "Good morning!" She said sitting down with her cereal. "I've just found out I'm pregnant." She said and then took a big bite of cereal.

[Ikuar]

Akio grinned, "That's great, Mi-" But once he realized what she said he immediately began to choke on his breakfast. He slammed his fist against his chest as hard as he could to cough it up. Finally he managed to get it and looked right at her, eyes watering, "REALLY?!"

She looked worried as he choked on his food, but smiled at him.
"No I lied." She joked. "Yes really!" She laughed.

Akio disappeared from his seat and seconds later had his ear to her stomach, "Our own baby? This is amazing! This is just surreal!" All of those words and he wouldn't even leave. He was laughing so happily!

She blushed again and laughed at him. "You won't be able to hear the baby yet!"

[Ikuar]

"I know but that certainly doesn't mean it's not there. Seeing isn't believing and neither is hearing." Akio said as he turned to give her stomach a kiss, "This is the best day of my life. Our own baby..."

"I know. It's weird though, knowing that there is a little baby girl or boy living inside of me." She said hugging him. "It really is amazing and wonderful!"

[Ikuar]

Akio was in bliss mode. He didn't appear to be coming out of it any time soon either, "I can't wait. I just can't wait at all."

Mizu laughed again. "I know. I'm twice as excited as when I found out about Kay's baby before!"

[Ikuar]

"My first..." Akio grinned, "Our first baby... I hope twins!" He wasn't hesitant to state what he thought would be an interesting challenge or add on to their life, "I can't wait!"

She laughed. "Well maybe. You never know for sure."

-Five months later-

Mizu sat next to Akio in the airport, waiting for they're plane to arrive. It was pretty early in the morning so she was still tired. She yawned and leaned her head against his shoulder, squeezing his arm tightly.
"Love you bunches." She said smiling.
They were going to Japan. She hadn't ever been there before. Though her grandparents had come from Japan once or twice, she had never gone to see them, so this would be her first time there. She was super excited when he told her, but at the moment was too tired to think about it much.

Akio couldn't help but smile in amusement, "I love you too, Mizu." He kissed her head. They were preparing to board their flight and the excitement was overwhelming him. He hoped she wouldn't be too culture shocked. He laid a hand over her stomach and smiled down, "Do you want to be back before...?" He began to ask.

"Hmm.... Maybe... Grandma says that the hospitals there aren't really good." She said frowning. "But they're not super bad either so I don't know."

[Ikuar]

"I was born there you know and I'm fine." Akio chuckled, "But if you feel it's not safe enough we'll fly back before you get too far along, okay?" He gave her another kiss. He was very loving and protective of her.

Mizu smiled. "Well it's probably okay just to stay there." She said hugging him tightly again.

[Ikuar]

"I guess we'll figure it out when we get to that point. Safer to stay on the ground when the time comes." He'd never done this before. He was a first time dad and everything was making him a little nervous.

Mizu smiled at him, and yawned again. "Yeah that makes sense."

Just then a voice over the loud speaker announced that they're flight had arrived, and that it was ready for boarding.
