He smiled and slid the ring on her finger. It fit perfectly.
He hugged her tightly again. "Wait till I tell Mizu, she'll probably brake our eardrums. Possibly the eardrums of anyone near by as well." He laughed.

"We'll tell her some how. I wonder if she'll react the same way she did when I told her I was in remission." Kay joked. Everyone was joyful when she told them.

-One Year Later-

Kay remembered like it was yesterday when she was told she was in remission from cancer. But her fight had not yet ended. She was happy to get married to Iwa with a full head of hair and no rash on her face. As fate had it, her life was still on the line.

There was a crash in the kitchen. One they thought they wouldn't hear again.

Iwa rushed to the kitchen at the sound.
"Kay?!"

Mizu was in her room and didn't hear the sound.

Kay was trying to be careful. Collapsing definitely wasn't part of her schedule especially due to the fact that she was expecting a baby. It put her at risk and she hadn't even told Iwa yet. Her eyes opened. She heard Iwa yelling her name.

"I'm okay..." She whispered, "I think I just got really fatigued."

Iwa frowned, and carried her to the couch. "You have to be more careful. Don't worry about cleaning or anything. Mizu and I can handle it okay?" He hugged her, "Just rest..."

"I don't like to rest." Kay squeezed his hand, "I'm just really not feeling well lately. It's probably the baby." Suddenly her hand slapped over her mouth. She hadn't told him yet and it kind of spilled out.

He frowned in confusion. "What ba-" He stopped. "Kay your pregnant?!" He shouted excitedly smiling at her.

Mizu came out. "Why is everyone shouting?" She asked coming into the living room. "Oh! Kay Are you allright?!" She came over to the couch standing next to her brother.

Kay was really quiet for what seemed like ages, "I... I guess you could say that." She stuttered.

"Er.... Your not okay?" Mizu asked confused.
"KAY! That's wonderful!" He said hugging her tightly.

"No I'm... pregnant." Kay gulped. She hadn't really been able to keep a secret very well. And she really hadn't intended on keeping it from him that long anyway.

"SERIOUSLY?!!!" Mizu screamed. "I'm going to be an aunt!"

Iwa frowned suddenly. "Are you okay? You don't sound happy? Is there something wrong?" He took her hand in his.

"I'm happy! I'm just really not sure if this is how I wanted to tell you both. I guess it doesn't matter now." Kay stood up and kissed Iwa, "It'll be okay." She promised.

-Six Months Later-

Time just flew. Kay's birthday was two days earlier and she was still cleaning up the decorations from that day. It seemed stuff like that never actually ended.

"Oh yeah, Mizu said she's bringing home a friend today!" She called to Iwa.

"Oh really?" Iwa said helping her pick up. "She didn't tell me about it." He frowned. "I wonder why..."

"Kay, Iwa I'm home!" Called Mizu. "I brought Akio to meet you!"

Iwa frowned again. " 'Akio'?" He mouthed looking at Kay with an eyebrow raised. "Isn't that a boy's name?"

Kay shrugged but she wasn't surprised when she saw Mizu come in with a black haired boy behind her. He looked grown up and Japanese of course. She raised her eyebrows.

"Hi! I'm Kay." She said enthusiastically, moving forward to shake his hand.

"Hey, nice to meet you." He said.

Wow good English! Kay was thinking.

"Akio this is my brother Iwa, and you already met Kay now." She said smiling and blushing slightly.
Iwa held out his hand.
"I'm Iwa. Mizu's brother and guardian." He said imposingly.

Kay watched as Akio smiled but he looked a little booted. Things must have been done differently in Japan or he wouldn't have paled the way he did.

"Sorry about him, Akio. He forgot to take his chill pills this morning."

Akio nodded slowly. "It's nice to meet you, Sir." He held out his hand.

"Iwa be nice!" Mizu said frowning and blushing a deeper shade of red. "This... Is an important person to me..." She added in almost a whisper.
Iwa shook his hand firmly and turned to his sister.
"I am being nice." Iwa replied frowning at her. "What was that last bit?"

"I should go." Akio said, "I can tell when I'm not wanted around."

Kay grabbed Iwa by the arm roughly and dragged him into the kitchen without any mercy. She was a very forceful, pregnant woman. It couldn't be helped.

"You..." She seethed, "...are being completely pathetic!"

"NO! Akio don't go!" Mizu pleaded, grabbing the edge of his sleeve and starring at the ground. "My brother's just a little over protective." Her face was completely red. "Cause... Your the first.... Boy I ever brought home..." As she went along her words grew softer and softer until it was hard to hear them at all.

Iwa frowned. "I know Kay... I just don't know what to do. I don't really feel comfortable with her having a boy-friend. I mean she's only fifteen!"

Akio smiled at her, "Let's just sit outside until it cools off. I just don't want to cause any trouble, that's all."

"And how old was I when we started to date, Iwa? I know I wasn't even sixteen when we met. I mean if that boy walked right out the door I bet you wouldn't care less! You are setting Mizu up for hurt." Kay put a hand to her back, which was aching a lot - as well as her ankles. She wanted to get off her feet.
