I frowned, "They used to be..." I was beginning to feel really nauseous all of a sudden, my heart was racing, "I'm s-sure it's nothing, maybe they are right, maybe it's nothing!" I was starting to panic, "Th-The doctor... I got the picture! Look!" I reached in my back pocket, "Look, see? See?"

I took the picture and smiled. "Very beautiful baby... what are you hoping for? A boy or a girl? I predict he's a boy..." I said softly, wrapping my arms around her in a hug. She needed a hug. I could tell. Loud people... they never realize when the quiet ones are really hurting over something unless we make a scene.

"I... I really don't know, I haven't considered it really... maybe a boy would be cute but a girl would be too..." I was scared, something was wrong with me or the baby... what was going on? Against what I normally do I actually began to cry against Kassie's shirt.

"Please don't tell Hayden, I don't want him to worry too much." I said against tears, "If anything comes up, I'll let him know."

I nodded. "You know when you call me, you can tell me anything, right? I won't repeat it. Not even to Hayden unless you let me." I said softly, hugging her tight. I knew she was hurting and I was afraid for her baby. Afraid for what was coming. I couldn't warn her. If I did, she'd just worry more and the baby would die. "Keep praying." I said softly. "And I'll pray too. And if it's His will, God will definitely heal you."

I nodded slowly and prayed, I kept praying and hoping that I hadn't lost it, I didn't want that to happen even though in my heart I knew part of me wasn't ready to be a mother yet.

"Thank you." I said and then realized how much time had passed, the party was probably already going on even if I didn't really feel like eating anything. But I had to and think positive as well.

I had to think positive.

I smiled and stood up, helping her up too. "Here, hold on to that. And no matter what, keep that photo. He's still yours." I pointed to the door. "Now let's go!! I know what your present is from Hayden and I, and it's really cool!" (Even though I don't know how to use it... ^^;; )

"Okay." I put the picture in my pocket and smiled, she was right, he was still mine and I'd take good care of him! <3 So we headed out to the party and things were really getting exciting, Rhema was handing presents to me already and then said we'd have dinner and cake.

I really had no control over anything that happened which made it entertaining!

"You should really kiss him..." I whispered to Kassie later, "Watch, I bet he'd love it!"

I'm sure I blushed and I shook my head. "N-No... only if he kissed me first! I'm not the type to make a move..." I stared at him. But she'd planted the seed in my head. "W-Well..." And he was really making himself look irresistible, laughing with Ian like that! "You owe me an ice cream for this!" I whispered before acting my usual shy part, walking up to him.

I stepped inbetween he and Ian. Ian looked a tad bit annoyed, but other than that, he was fine with it. I looked up at Hayden and smiled before jumping up and wrapping my arms around his neck to pull myself up and kiss him! And this wasn't a peck, this was a full on, there isn't any doubt, kiss!

And to my full blown shock he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back fully! FULLY!! He did it like a pro and I was extremely surprised. I stood up and gaped at the two of them and walked over bopping Hayden on the back of the head.

"You act like you've been..." Then I stopped.

"Actually..."

"No way! You and...?"

"Yeah."

"OH MY GOSH!" I was wanting to get over excited but I didn't want to hurt the baby so I just tried not to scream, "OH MY GOODNESS!!"

I was laughing and Hayden hadn't let me down yet. "Happy birthday! This was your official present!" I laughed and everyone else was laughing. "Did we have you fooled?"

"Yeah, actually!" I sat back down and bit my lip, "I can't believe you did that, aw, you two are so cute together though!" Everyone seemed to agree.

"Thanks!"

"I'm just glad you have someone other than Matisse now!"

"Hey! Matisse is a good friend!" I smiled. "Don't diss her!"

"Oh no!" Katie laughed. "He's corrupted you! You've even fallen for his cat!"

I nodded in agreement. I actually had kind of fallen for Matisse. Hehe! Such a cutie! <3

"I'm not, Matisse has been with us for a looong time." I giggled, "Well then, I suppose a proper welcome to the family is in order so... welcome to the family for real!"

Hayden looked pleased.

I held onto him tight so I didn't fall. This guy... he towered above everyone! D: But I smiled proudly too. "Hey! I'm allowed to move the paints now! My ranking has gone up!" I teased Hayden while actually speaking to Keely.

Hayden laughed, "Yeah, I finally told her where I keep them!"

I laughed, he had a special hiding place for when Maggy came over, she liked to play paints and would always use the expensive ones and then there would be a problem.

He trusted us enough not to tell her where they were.

"He had to because he doesn't clean up after himself!!" I laughed. "I bugged him until he finally told me so I could put them away!" I wiggled in his arms, my hint to set me down. I was tired of floating in the air. <3

Hayden put her down and I continued to laugh at the whole scene, all my troubles just seemed to wash away right then and there, with everyone laughing and talking. I found Eli and clung to his arm for that moment, just taking in that warmth he gave off and somehow, I'm not sure what it was, but I knew I was going to need his arm for a while.

Eli wrapped his arms around her. He was so nice, and obviously very in love with Keely. I smiled. Maybe someday, I'd have that too. I'd get to share a bed with someone every night of my life. But not any someone. The same someone over and over.

Lord, please. I ask that the someone... is Hayden. I really think I'm in love with him. Thank you for letting me experience this. I like feeling like I almost belong to him.

Katie ran in. "We all need to go to the photo booth some day! And every couple needs a picture!!" She exclaimed.

Eli was laughing. "What is it with her and photo booths?!"

I smiled. I'd never used one before. "That would be fun..." I said softly.

"Ah! You too?!" Eli exclaimed.

"Yeah I'd love that!" I commented loudly, "And Katie just loves it more because that's not only where she MET her hubby but that's where PROPOSED. It's very cute, such a romantic little story!" I rested my head against his chest , turning my face so family couldn't see that I was trying not to cry. >_<

"Oh that's where he proposed!" Ian jumped in, "Well then, I guess all couples are taking a mall trip pretty soon! Can offspring be in the pictures too? I have a pretty handsome little guy over here that belongs to me."

Zack looked at Katie, "Maybe?"

"Well, only if Keely holds up the picture of hers!" Katie grinned.

I smiled a little and looked up at Hayden. "We need to bring a picture of Matisse for ours..."

Eli was holding Keely tight. I didn't like seeing her so sad. She shouldn't have to bee so sad. Lord, you and I both know what's coming. Please, when it happens... heal her heart.

I pulled out my picture and looked up at Eli with a weary smile, "Aw but you can't even make him out, he's a little bean right now..." I got irritated when someone took the picture from me, for some reason I felt strongly attached to it and when it was gone from my hand I wanted to just scream.

"I can't see it... Sean was like that too." Ian said, it got passed around and I waited forever for it to come back to me. Why was it so painful?

"C-Can I have it back...?" My voice came out as a whisper though amongst all the talking.

"Ian!" I snapped, "Don't just... don't just snatch it!" I got it back via Zack's turn and everyone looked at me like I was losing my mind.

"I'm sorry..." Ian apologized.

"It's the only picture I have!" I moved and walked out of the room, I wanted to scream.

I ran after her. "K-Keely!" I said, running out of the room. "I'm sorry they did that!" It hadn't gotten to me yet or it would have already been back in her hands. "They're really pushy at times, aren't they?"

It was easy to overhear Eli trying desperately not to raise his voice at any of them. He was pretty protective.

I'd never cried this hard in my entire life, mostly I was fuming at my brother in-law for being such a jerkface to me the past few days, it was like he had some sort of right to pick on me and only me!

"I love my extended family but..." I leaned against the wall and sunk to the floor, "They don't know how bad this hurts, I know I'm sick, something is wrong with me but I can't get anyone's attention... maybe I should stay with you and Hayden for a couple days, I need air, I can't handle this."

"I said sorry, she's been snappy I didn't know it would make her mad." I heard Ian saying in the other room.

"Seriously? How would you feel if someone just up and snatched Sean from you?! It's not just a picture, it's her child and that means something to her!"

Hayden... T-T

I sat beside her and hugged her. "That's fine with me! We can share a bed if you don't mind. There's only two bedrooms and apparently I'm using yours! It's a queen so it's big enough. And Matisse will keep you company and everything!" I smiled. "We can even make copies of that picture of your little baby! And hang them up wherever you want them! It's only a couple cents for a copy!" I said.

I smiled at her and hugged her tightly, "Thank you." I already knew Hayden would be fine with it and hopefully Eli would be okay too, I wasn't angry with him and I wanted to talk to him about things more because I trusted him but with everyone so suffocating... it was hard to do that.

I packed my sketch pads and paints and some extra clothes.

"Are you sure?" Hayden asked.

"Yeah, I just need to breathe... I have no room to breathe."

"My place is small..."

"I'll have time to myself during the day, it's fine." I hugged him, "Thanks."
