I smiled a little. "Yeah, and I'm pretty good at staying out of the way..." I still didn't have a job. T^T "And Matisse is the only one who will really bother her. Trust us, we've figured this all out."

I turned when the door opened and Eli walked in.

"H-Hey, what's up?" I asked softly. I was still cooling down from the fight with Ian. I didn't like fighting with family, but it was Keely. I'd do anything for her.

I felt bad all of a sudden, "I'm going to stay at Hayden's for a little while... I just need to breathe really bad and I..." I realized I wasn't making any sense to him, I hugged him and then sat him down, "There's too much action here and I'm stressed out so... I feel like I just need time to heal and get better from being so sick."

Hayden turned around and pretended to stare at the floral framed picture on the wall.

"Well, if that's what you want to do, it's fine with me. But can I come visit every once in a while?" I glanced at Hayden and watched they tiniest girl in the world try her hardest to drag him out of the room. "I promise not to bring anyone with me... but I still want to come and see you."

"I want you to visit, I won't be gone very long, just a couple days to catch my breath." I pulled him down by the collar of his shirt and kissed him full on the lips, glancing behind Eli to see that Hayden and Kassie had left the room. I wrapped my arms around his neck and felt tears rolling down my cheeks.

"You know I love you though." I pulled away and tapped his nose, "Handsome."

I gulped. She always knew how to make me smile. Her kisses were the easiest way. I kissed her back fully. "It's hard to mistake that smile for anything other than love." I said softly, wrapping my arms around her tightly. "I'm going to miss you. My bed will be lonely."

"THAT is why I was trying to drag you out!" I whispered. "Of course they were going to kiss like that!" >.<;;

"I know, I'll be back before you know it and then we can talk all hours of the night spend every second together, okay?" I was trying not to cry, my stomach hurt really bad, I didn't really want to go away from him.

*Hayden*

"What?! I've never seen them kiss like that, not even at the wedding, that kiss was huge!" Keely... T-T WHY ARE YOU GROWING UP SO FAST?!

"SORRY! I wasn't trying to peek or anything, I just saw her like... SUPER MEGA KISS or something-" I stopped when Keely came out of the room after finishing talking to Eli.

*Keely*

"Deal. I will." One last kiss and then I said bye and walked out of the room to see Hayden and Kassie having a random conversation. I raised my brows.

"Okay..." >.>?

I grinned and poked Hayden. "He's sleepy. Let's go!" Not really, we were both a little shocked to see a kiss like that between such young people! ._.

I looked back one more time and waved to Eli, I knew I wasn't going to be gone forever but I had a feeling I was making him sad, I was sad. T-T

We had a small dinner, or I did and then I went to bed. I couldn't sleep for the whole reason that I didn't have Eli with his arms around me. I had no idea how hard it'd be to go without that feeling for a couple nights.

I sat on the couch in the den. Keely was upset because she wasn't with Eli and it was harder for me than I thought to be able to sleep with someone. So here I sit, eating ice cream. I hadn't eaten it in so long since it was expensive, but Hayden had some! He even bought my favorite! Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! I stuck the spoon in my mouth and left it there to suck all the ice cream off before putting more on my spoon and repeating. I was staring at the blank tv. It was off and the apartment was eerily quiet at night. I pulled the blanket off of the back of the couch and wrapped it around my legs. They were so cold!

I found myself walking into the den where Kassie was, I grabbed a spoon and sat down next to her before stealing some of her ice cream. "I can't sleep." I said, finding it easy to just talk to her when these kinds of things happened, "Is this what you do when you can't sleep?"

"Ah? Hm... yeah." I smiled. "I could take the ice cream upstairs, but I'm closer to Hayden down here. What do you do when you can't sleep?"

"Normally I can sleep... but sometimes I just watch TV in the den or eat cereal... back when I kind of craved it in the middle of the night, and then I got sick..." I shifted uncomfortably and wrapped my arms around my stomach, "Or I'd talk to Eli... before we got married I'd stay up late and talk to him on the phone sometimes. My life kinda revolves around him now..." I stopped and doubled over.

I rubbed her back comfortingly. "That's a good thing, right? It should revolve around him! He's your husband, Keely." I set the bowl down on the coffee table. "Can I braid your hair?"

"Y-Yeah..." I was trying not to cry, my stomach was really hurting and I was getting scared but trying not to, I had to believe that everything would be okay. I forced myself to sit up straight and scoot closer to Kassie. "Thank you for being so encouraging, Kassie. You're the first I've been able to really consider a big sister."

I smiled and brushed her hair with my fingers. "I think the other girls really love you though, they aren't sure what to do with you. After all, you're a lot more quiet than they are. I think picking on you, though you don't perceive it that way, is their way of telling you that you're family." I pulled at her hair, gently braiding it. "I wouldn't have taken that kind of picking at well either though. Thank you for thinking of me that way though... I really appreciate it. It makes me happy!"

I found her touch soothing, her voice comforting after so much noise it was easy to just fall into that kind of comfort and take it all for myself just for now. I felt dizzy all of a sudden and grabbed the couch to support myself, "Maybe... I used to be fine with it up until recently, the pain has been clouding my mind lately..."

I nodded. "That's understandable." I the braid was tight and her hair was layered, making it difficult. "Keely, I think it'll have to be a French braid. Your layers are making this hard!" I laughed and began to undo the braid.

"That's fine." I said with a smile, I wanted to lay down and sleep, I felt so tired and just a few minutes ago I'd been wide awake. Maybe just listening to her was making me sleepy.

"Maybe we should go do something fun tomorrow..."

"Hmm... like what? I don't have any money so it'll have to be free!" I smiled. "It'll give Hayden a nice day off from me though, so that sounds good."

"We can just watch movies or something... it doesn't mean we have to go out or anything... and he'll be going to the gallery like he does... usually." I suggested, "We can make snacks and all of that..." My eyes closed without warning and I tipped, I remember feeling my head hit the coffee table before I hit the floor.

I screamed. Screaming isn't something I normally do, but when you're braiding someone's hair and they suddenly fall over and hit their head on a table... yeah, scream worthy.

"H-Hayden! Hayden!!" I screamed, trying to pick Keely up and put her back on the couch, but I wasn't strong enough to lift her. I'm not a strong person.

Plus, I was crying. That makes it worse! D:

I ran out half asleep to find Kassie trying to get Keely up off the floor, she'd screamed which meant it was obvious that Keely hadn't just been sleeping there the whole time, she'd collapsed!

"Don't move her, I'm calling an ambulance!" I was panicking, if something happened to her on my watch Eli would be ticked, of course it would be the same for me if it happened on his watch but WHATEVER. I was on the phone with the dispatcher and explaining the situation.

"Does she have any medical conditions that you are aware of?"

"No... she's pregnant but..."

I frowned, she's pregnant... and she collapsed. I felt my skin go cold just then. An ambulance arrived a few minutes later and I drove behind them with Kassie. I knew it was going to be a long night as I called Eli...

I was crying and my knuckles turned white around the seatbelt. I was so scared for Keely. I wasn't even sure how to begin to help. We were following her to the hospital, but what for? I had no idea what to do or say if anything bad happened.
