I smiled. Man, she was cute no matter what she was doing. I yawned too. Man, every aspect of her was infectious... even her sleepiness. I leaned my head against the bed, (I had it raised up) and closed my eyes. Next thing I knew, I was fast asleep, next to the most beautiful angel ever.

*Three Weeks Later*

*Ian*

It was raining outside, it had been sunny earlier that day but suddenly the clouds were overwhelming and the rain was pouring down harshly against the house.

I didn't feel like driving anywhere and pretty much everyone was at our house including Keely and Aaron. Zack was doing homework and Amanda was asleep, she'd been sick.

So it was a quiet day and I was watching a movie with my Andy. <3 I'd been trying harder not to worry about the baby coming or anything, it was inevitable but I was controlling my panic mode the best I could.

I giggled. "Um... sweetie pie?" I asked looking up at him and batting my eyelashes. "May I please have some water...?"

I blinked that rainy, sleepy feeling away and stood up before stretching, "Yeah, one sec." I went to the kitchen and started pouring her a glass of water.

"Hello errand boy!" Zack chuckled.

"Shut up." I tossed a strawberry at him, real threatening, and then went back to give Andy her water, flopping down on the couch after that.

I grabbed the cup with a big thank you and was taking a long sip when I froze and dropped the cup. I grabbed my stomach. "Oh, I-I'm s-sorry." I waited a moment and the pain passed. "Oh no! I spilled water everywhere!"

"It's okay!" I jumped up to clean up the mess, we had wooden floors so it wasn't so bad, "Give me a sec, I'm going to get some paper towel!"

After a couple minutes I returned with the paper towels and started sopping up the water. "Are you okay? Is Sean practicing his sports again?"

"I-I don't know. Sean's never hurt like that before. It's like... a different kind of pain." I said softly.

"Oh okay. Give me one more second..." I ran out of the room and put the things away, tossing out the paper towels and then coming back. I picked up the phone and started to dial Karen.

"Uh... umm... I was supposed to a-a-ask questions and I can't remember what I was supposed to ask you. Should we wait and see if anything else happens? I'm not sure what to do, I'm just not ready, I'm not ready for this and this is scaring me a bit."

I watched him on the phone. I hadn't told him I'd been having these for the past two hours. And then I had another pain. These were much more violent than the others. "Ah!! Oww!!!" I exclaimed.

"C-C-Crap!" I stuttered really bad when I was panicking and I had to get over that feeling and that was pretty much the first thing Miss Karen heard when she answered the phone.

"Karen?! I think Andy is going into labor!"

"Okay don't panic, I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"CAN YOU HURRY?!"

"Ian..."

"Please?!"

"Fifteen minutes."

I held the phone away from my ear, "That's not fast enough! The baby is coming like... now!"

"Ian... this is her first pregnancy, the baby is not coming 'like now'. Calm down, Daddy."

"You calm down!" I replied quickly without really thinking about it.

Then Katie ran in. "What's all this racket?"

"I'm not being mean, she's telling me to calm down and you're having a baby and that's HUGE and I don't want you to get hurt or something!"

"Andy's having the baby?!" Zack was right behind Katie.

"Close, I mean... not RIGHT now-OOWWWWWW!" I exclaimed, not ready this time. "I hate being pregnant." T^T

I was trying to figure out what to do for her, I know there was nothing I could do so I ended up just holding her for a second and waiting for it to pass, "Please don't crowd her, she doesn't want to be crowded." I said as I helped her stand up so we could go somewhere quiet to wait for Karen.

"I'm sorry your hurting..." My gentleness and apologies would probably not be good enough at this point.

I clung to him; my only lifeline. "Ian, don't let go of me, even when Miss Karen gets here." I said. "I'm really scared. I don't want to be in pain."

That look on her face nearly shattered my heart and as we sat down in the bedroom I just held her as close as I could, I couldn't let her go knowing she was afraid.

"I'm so sorry, Andy..." I whispered into her hair, "You have no idea how sorry I am that you are hurting."

I held onto him tight. "Well, you're here when I need you at least. If you weren't, then I'd be in the most trouble. I wouldn't have my rock. My everything."

"I want to be right here with you, you won't be alone for even a split second, I promise." If anything was needed I could have Mom get it that way I'd be right there supporting her. "But think... Sean is coming to see us so it's going to be worth it."

I bit my lip and nodded, hugging him tight. "Yeah, and he's going to be so handsome!" I smiled. Until another pain came. What were these? Were they contractions?

I saw Mom coming in and sighed, "Hey."

"Hi!" Mom sat down in front of Andy, "Do you want ice? Anything?" It was clear that Mom could see what was going on with Andy, we were confused but maybe it would be okay if Mom could help.

"Are you timing them?"

"Timing who?"

"The contractions! Ian... look at your watch when this passes and follow the minutes until she has another." Then she got up to go get ice without waiting for Andy to say if she actually wanted some.
