Our Little Recap 1

[Ikuar]

It just happened one morning.

I woke up in the home of my girlfriend of three years and was immediately embraced into her family of eight. The home was nothing but chaotic but it was a good kind of chaotic. Katie had five siblings, Ian, her twin brother, Elijah, Amanda, Kara and Lane. But I don't even have them in the correct order.

And that's after living here for three years.

We've been dating that long and I've been continuously (this year) pushed and nudged to propose. Why? I find it completely unnecessary. More so because we're fine as we are, we're a couple, yes, and we spend a lot of time together when I'm not at work or school.

I spend at least five hours with her each night unless something comes up and I can't get there until late. But as I was saying, life is completely uneventful. Ian finally got a girlfriend (Samantha) and she's being initiated into our growing group.


Sounds fun? It is and I can't imagine not being here today.

I was the first to jump on him! <3

"Happy birthday, Zackaroo!!!" I grinned happily, giggling too. "I love you and goodmorning!"

[Ikuar]

She missed my ribs by a few inches to which I sighed in relief.

"Good morning, Katie..." I said in a sleepy voice. I reached up and tucked hair behind her ears, which seemed a little bit red. After a minute of gazing into her eyes I sat up and kissed her.

[Jayrin]

I giggled. "Thank you! I love you lots! You're the best boyfriend ever and I'm glad you're still mine!"

[Ikuar]

"Always will be." I said, still very sleepy but I was beginning to smell bacon and my stomach growled to interrupt our moment. I ignored it and began to turn her around, braiding her hair gently.

"What is our plan for today?" Her hair was so soft and easy to play with, this was a morning routine.

[Jayrin]

"Whatever you want to do! It's your birthday after all!" I grinned. "But you won't get your present from me until tonight!" I giggled, trying to stay still so he could finish the braid, but at the same time, wanting to move a lot to make him have to re-do the braid, thereby playing with my hair longer. <3

[Ikuar]

"Ooh? Anything I want to do huh?" I tilted down a little in the middle of braiding and kissed her neck, "I want to spend every second with you... but I have to go to school today and get tortured by Ms. Varless." I pouted immediately after saying that, "She talks like she's got something clogged up her nose."

[Jayrin]

"Eww... I hope it's not that bad! I'll give you a great big hug when you get home! I could even give you a great big kiss! Or I could sit outside your classroom because I'm cool like that and I don't have class today because of something about the teachers having an important meeting or something..."

[Ikuar]

"But that's four hours long..." I frowned. The idea of her sitting outside my classroom was a bit worrisome, especially with people being people... ._.

[Jayrin]

"I'll bring Mario! He loves to travel in water bottles! I found that out! He especially likes my translucent pink one with the flowers on it!" I giggled and hugged him happily.

[Ikuar]

I finished tying her hair back and then kissed her lovingly, "Alright, if you insist." I liked her random visits and the very first time there was a lot of nudging and elbowing from my close friends.

[Jayrin]

I giggled again and hugged him tight. "I do!! And I'll make you the best lunch ever!!"

[Ikuar]

"I'm already starving." I said in a raspy voice, mostly because I was still waking up. After a second I got up and lifted her off the bed and then tossed her back down playfully.

"Gotta get dressed though, hun."

[Jayrin]

I giggled and pulled the covers over my head. "Okay! Hurry up then!" I wiggled my toes which were peaking out from under the blankets. "Everyone's waiting on you!"

[Ikuar]

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm hurrying!" I ran into the bathroom adjoined to my room and started to get dressed, I could see her with the mirror though which meant she could see me perfectly, scars and all. I was a wrecked body.

Most of my scars still looked pretty bad... three years hadn't done much at all.

"Are you sure there aren't any plans for tonight? It's just my choice?" I ventured.

[Jayrin]

"All yours!" I called back, peaking an eye out to see him. I got butterflies and giggled loudly. He's so cute! >u<

[Ikuar]

I was silent for a minute while putting on some jeans over my boxers and then finally, "I don't believe it..." I chuckled. Last year they said that and as soon as I walked in the door it was raining pie. D;

The year before that, her parents forced me to get a hair cut because mine was growing out and starting to look kind of curly. But not only that I was given the sex talk after they witnessed me giving a rather passionate kiss to Katie.

[Jayrin]

"Nope! I made everyone promise! I'm all yours today and nothing is planned!" I grinned happily. "Well, at least not until we get back home!"

[Ikuar]

I raised my brows suspiciously but decided to give her the benefit of a doubt. "Fine." I put my shirt on and and then came out of the bathroom.

I had to make sure nothing was out of place so her mother wouldn't suggest doing something 'special' after school. I'd already been forced into a piercing. ._.

[Jayrin]

I shot out from the blankets and tackled him to the ground in a bubbly, giggly hug! "I love you!!!!! And I really want your birthday to be great!!!!"

[Ikuar]

And my ribs were still in one piece. *____*

"I love you too, and it will be with you around!" I grinned, but even then I wasn't sure how it'd go. I still had four hours of school to accomplish and then the rest of the day surrounded by my spiritual family.

There was something I kind of wanted to do but then... it was something I knew wouldn't happen.

"I feel old today."

[Jayrin]

I frowned. "Ah, why?" I kissed him softly and laid my head on his chest. "You're only twenty. You're not allowed to feel old!"

[Ikuar]

"Twenty is old." I sighed. I didn't tell her how her younger siblings were asking when I was going to pop the question. I didn't want to do that, she was too young yet to be pulled away from her family.

Besides... I liked it here and even I wasn't ready to be on my own.

[Jayrin]

"No, twenty is young!" I shook my head. "We have our whole lives ahead of us to get married and everything! If we start feeling old now, won't it be less interesting when we really are older?"

[Ikuar]

"I guess." I was trying to make sense of what she was saying to me right there. ._. I felt my heart beat a bit faster when she mentioned getting married. She actually believed we would which made me smile.

"But you are right, we have plenty of time."
