I smiled and kissed his cheek. "I'm in no rush! But I do.. well, nevermind!" I giggled and rolled off of him. "I'm gonna go make a lunch to pack!"

You do what? I wanted to ask her but I kept it to myself, if she didn't want to say then I wouldn't pry it out of her. I'd let her come to me later if that was the case.

I put my socks and shoes on and then reached for my backpack hesitantly. It was going to feel like ages with Katie sitting outside the room.

I ran down the stairs to the kitchen. "I'ma gonna make a great sandwich for today!!!" I giggled happily to myself, grabbing the bread out of the drawer.

"Ugh, seriously!" I heard Ian saying into his phone as I was coming down the stairs, "I swear, criminal justice is the most boring class. You'd think that would be more interesting..."

Ian was starting to lean towards becoming a cop. The first time Momma Rey (what I call their mother) heard it she was pretty worried. Cops do get shot at.

"Ian! Don't be so loud!" I called, tossing a stick of string cheese at him. "I'm cooking and you'll bore my sandwiches!"

"What? The teacher talks like he's dead, or like he's on a sedative... What? Sorry Sam!" Ian said to Katie and possibly to the person on the phone too. He'd been very scattered lately with exams coming up.

"Someone needs to keep some symbols or a blow horn on hand..." I chuckled as I walked up behind my Katie and wrapped my arms around her waist, kissing the top of her head and taking in the scent from the shampoo she probably used this morning.

I laughed. "Yes!!! Or some fish!! Fish are great! I love fish and everyone else should too!" I said, finishing a sandwich and dropping it in a baggy before making another.

Ian held up a finger and got his backpack off the table, "Yeah, I'm coming to pick you up!" He said and then the door slammed behind him.

"He's very brainless lately..." I commented.

I sighed. "Yeah... and he didn't even take the cheese stick I tossed at him! He loves cheese sticks!" I turned around and stood on my tip toes to give my super awesome boyfriend a kiss! "But it's okay. You're here and you make me feel better about his brainlessness."

"He's been different recently, do you miss him?" I asked, they were extremely close when I met them and now they were both getting very caught up in their own lives.

"Alright." I rubbed her back for a minute until Momma Rey came in with Dad (I liked calling him Dad). Then I turned around to greet them and tell them my morning goodbye's.

"Taking Katie with me!" I called as we were leaving.

"Okay!! By my love and one day future son-in-law!!" Dad said. He always called Zack that. "I love you booooth!!"

I giggled. "I love you too, Daddy!! Have a great day! I'll be at college today and Mario and I will get super smart!" I held up the pink water bottle that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.

I chuckled, "Bye Dad!" I shouted as we left.

"Buhbai future son-in-law!" Momma Rey shouted at me as the door shut. I walked Katie to the car and opened her door for her before going to my side. I almost never let her get in or out of the car without me opening and closing the door for her first.

I sat in his car, all giggly. "I'm excited to go to school with you! I get to see you when you get out of your classes and I get to walk with you to your next one!! Mario gets to come too, and he's so excited!!" I said happily. "And we get to eat lunch together and spend your birthday together!!"

I mean it, if I hadn't been paying attention at all I would have gotten us into an accident because of the sheer shock and confusion.

"Wait! My once to be thought MALE fish is now not only female but PREGNANT?" I gaped, "I didn't want to be a grandfather this young... I knew he... SHE needed the talk...."
