"Maybe not!" I said and then started timing it, I wasn't sure the point in this though, she'd have labor pains and then the baby would come... wasn't it that simple?

I rested against him and he was so steady. It really made me happy. I closed my eyes. I was tired. "Thanks for staying with me... through everything. I knew I loved you for a reason. It's because I know I can count on you for anything."

"And it took you going into labor to figure it out?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood but it really wasn't a mood lightening time, I just rubbed her back and rested my head on hers, "You can always count on me, I'll always be at your side."

I grimaced and tensed up again. "Ah, h-how long?" I asked, gritting my teeth.

"That was about... five minutes." I frowned a little bit, that sounded familiar to me and it may have been something Karen talked to me about before. "Try to lay back, it'll be over before you know it." I sat behind her and began to braid her hair, normally because she found it relaxing...

today might be different though. >_<

My6 eyes became heavy when he did that and I yawned sleepily. "Mm... you're making me sleepy.." I said softly.

"I'm sorry..." I tied it and then let it hang over her shoulder before pulling her back to rest against me and then Mom returned with the cup full of ice.

Karen showed up shortly after that.

I knew right then that it was going to be a really long afternoon and maybe even night for Andy.

Sixteen hours. Sixteen hours and I wasn't able to sleep at all. And now, this tiny baby boy was set in my arms. His name is Sean Casey Harrison, and he's my son. My son... it sounds so loving. Son is a befitting word. I love him a ton. And guess what? He does look like Ian! Ah, but he has my nose! I smiled and leaned against my rock. "Ian... I love you, and our new family."

I glanced at Karen and smiled. "Can you put his last name as Harrison? So when we get married we don't have to go through the paperwork to change it?"

"Certainly." Karen said with a smile, she looked tired too but I think the whole night had made everyone anxious and tired. Me? I was exhausted but the stress seemed to wash away once I heard that first breath and cry and the declaration that my son was healthy and strong.

"I love you too." I leaned down to kiss her neck and then got a good look at Sean, he had a bit of my skin tone and dark hair, but that could change over time. His face was so round and wrinkly and his hands... so perfectly crafted, very tiny with little nails... I couldn't believe how amazing he looked. I'd seen my siblings as babies but he was breathtaking.

Maybe it was because I knew he was ours.

I giggled and played with his hand. "Aw! Ow! I didn't know they were so strong!" I laughed.

"Well he did kick pretty hard when he was in there... I guess he is a strong baby." I tried to look at Andy better but being behind her a bit it was hard, "You did so well, I'm proud of you."

I glanced back at him and grinned, despite feeling so tired. "You think so? Well, he is healthy!" I giggled and hugged Sean close, kissing his forehead. "I love him more now, I think. I think it's because I can hold him."

"Yeah, I can see that." I touched his hair which was so soft and fuzzy on the top of his head, he made a little squeaking noise when he yawned and I gaped.

"He squeaks, Andy!"

"Aww!!! He does!" I giggled. "I like the squeaks!" He seemed to half smile and wiggled in my arms. "Hehe! I love you too, Sean Casey!"

We spent a couple days by ourselves just getting to know him, what he liked and what he disliked, we had so much to learn, especially as parents.

Neither of us really knew what to do. He liked to wake up exactly at two in the morning for feeding, a couple hours later for diaper changes.

My most favorite moments were those moments when all he wanted was a cuddle. I took him out of his crib and would rock him in the chair we got as a shower gift. He loved that and so did I. More than a couple times were we found asleep there the next morning.

My belly was smaller already! I looked down and it was within ten pounds of the size it was before!" I smiled and rubbed my belly before going to grab my little boy for his breakfast! I waltzed happily down the hall. I had a baby now... and I was part of a second family too! I had my own family with Ian now! I smiled when Sean squeaked when I touched him. He only ever did that for Ian and I... like he knew our touch. "Hey my sweet, baby boy!" I cooed with a grin, pulling him into a warm embrace. "How did you sleep?" >u<

I leaned against the door frame, she was already there getting Sean up for breakfast, a good mommy right from the start, I was so impressed with how well she was taking care of him. I was pretty tired, I think we both were but seeing that handsome face every morning made it all worth it.

"Morning beautiful." I said to Andy as I came up behind her and rested my head on her shoulder, wrapping my arms around her gently, "How's our little man this morning?"

He was feeding when Ian did that so now, my face was burning up. "He seems to have slept pretty w-well!" I stammered, grabbing a blanket to cover myself. I knew he'd already seen everything before, but I wasn't comfortable with his seeing until I had that second ring on. "He squeaked when I picked him up this morning too, and did that teeny little half smile, like he knows it's me and is telling me good morning!" I grinned. "I'm in love with another man, Ian." I laughed and looked up at him, waiting for my morning kiss.

I kissed her gently, thankfully already having brushed my teeth, "That's fine, I think he loves you more too." I stepped back so she could finish feeding him and then went to make some breakfast before Zack could claim the stove.

"What do you want to eat this morning?" I called.

"Um... cinnamon sugar toast!" I grinned. "I'm craving it!" I sat down on the rocker in the bed room and began rocking back and forth. Sean always loved to be rocked when he got fed. "I love you, Ian!!" I smiled softly at our little man. More than you know. <3

I managed to get to the kitchen before Zack to make breakfast, wishing a little that I could give Andy and Sean a home to ourselves, where I could win the kitchen all the time. I got started and heard Andy say something.

"Love you too!" I called back. Stress had gone down a bit sine Sean was born, I really had both of them to be concerned about but they were within reach. I put on a couple slices of bacon for myself and then poured some orange juice for Andy.

I hugged little Sean gently after he finished and wrapped him up in a blanket before heading downstairs. I spotted Ian and sat on one of the barstools in the kitchen."Good morning again! Sean is happy!"

I laid her plate in front of her and then sat down with my eggs and bacon.

"That is good to know, when he's happy so are we." I felt his hair which had taken to standing up straight, as if someone had gelled it.

"I love his hair, he's already styling it."

I giggled and grabbed my toast. "He is! I love every bit of him!" I grinned at my Ian. "And every bit of you. Thank you so much for him!" I took a bite of my toast and sighed. His toast was always perfect. <3
