I held up my hands immediately. "I-I realized I don't know how to handle paintings so I promise not to touch them! I'm stupid when it comes to art so I won't mess with those things without asking you first! This is your home after all!"

I gulped and nodded. "Then if art supplies crowd it, it's your problem. I'll clean up everything else." I said, my voice going back to it's usual soft tone. "That way, I don't accidentally mess with something you didn't want me to and we won't get mad over something stupid."

"P-Playful...?" My breath caught in my throat and my heart seemed to stop. He was really close and for the first time, I was filled with a peaceful type of nervousness. My face grew hotter by the second as I just stared back in his eyes. I felt like I was floating on air or something. It was weird, but not unwanted.

I leaned in and kissed her.

I kissed him back. I couldn't help it! He was so nice and kind and generous and... I really liked him. His lips weren't anything like I remembered from other men. He wasn't pushy and aggressive, nor did he seem to want more than just simple kisses. Yet at the same time, he almost seemed like he wasn't treating them like they were simple... why did this almost seem complicated?

It didn't matter though, and I realized when he was kissing me...

I wasn't shaking.

I was finally able to run my fingers through her hair, scoot closer and continue kissing, taking a couple deep breaths here and there so I didn't have to break them up so soon. I was afraid that I was going to scare her, that she would be afraid of me and think that I was like every other guy.

But I had a feeling as she kissed me back that she was not feeling that way.

My arms seemed to move of their own accord as they reached up and wrapped tightly around his neck. It gave me better leverage too and made it easier to kiss him without my neck being at an awkward angle. It was hard when our heights were so vastly different even when sitting! I pulled away for a breath and opened my eyes. The way he was looking at me...

My heart skipped a beat... then another. And another! His expression betrayed him. He was thinking much differently of me that any other man before. "Your expression... what is it?" I asked softly, still studying him. It was a curious expression, one I'd never seen directed at me before now. It made me feel warm, but I wasn't sure what it was.

I had never felt so strongly for someone before. "This expression is the jumbled up emotions you give me, the excitement, the shock and confusion... you are so complex and amazing and I barely know you... but I know you are."

I reached my hand up and touched his cheek. "I give you a lot of emotions. You... you give me a bunch of emotions too! Like... I want to do whatever it is you're doing, but not to compete with you or annoy. I want to wear this shirt every night for the rest of the night because it's comfier than any other shirt and for some reason, I like that it smells like you and it swallows me up the same way your hugs do! I-I want to tell you all about myself because you're the one person in this world that doesn't scare me. I want to be yours. If it's you, I don't being a belonging, because I've watched you. You take good care of your belongings so I know you will take care of me. You're different. You're very different. Even though deep down, you may want some of the same things as the others... you seem to care more about what I want and what I'm feeling."

"I want to keep giving you those emotions too... because I like that expression. It makes me really happy."

I kissed her, speechless for what felt like so long, I didn't know what to say to that but it made my heart pound insanely, my mind raced to comprehend those unusual but addicting feelings I had.

"I'm not perfect, I'll make mistakes but I want you to know that I really like you, that I care about you in more ways than one, you are perfect for me and I hope... with all my heart, that I can be perfect for you."

I hugged him tight. "You already are, so stop hoping for something already settled." I said softly. "But you're still going to have to clean up after yourself when it comes to art supplies. I don't want you to feel like I'm trying to take over your home..."

"That's fine with me." I chuckled, so it was a deal, we were fine and great with each other absolutely perfect for each other! Nothing could possibly ruin this amazing time.

My sister was pregnant, I was finally falling in love and things were just getting better!

What could possibly go wrong? <3

-Keely's Birthday-

So Hayden and I have been dating for a little while now! But we decided to keep it secret and tell Keely as her birthday gift from us since it's been pretty obvious she was trying to get us together, which has been pretty fun because she feels like she's not getting anywhere with the two of us, and we've already been dating this entire time! "You do have a backup gift for Keely in case she gets upset with us for hiding this from her, right?" I asked softly. We were about to leave to head to her house to celebrate!

"Yeah, I got her some art stuff. You're telling me to stifle my sister's angry knowing full well that she's pregnant, this should be fun." I chuckled as we were driving down to the house. She was turning seventeen and her birthday was supposed to be a pretty big deal I guess, not as huge as eighteen though.

"Maybe we'll be lucky, maybe she won't be upset."

We greeted Keely at the door when we pulled up to the great big house that the family lived in, I hoped this time that Kassie wouldn't be so overwhelmed by everyone and just have fun.

"Hayden!" Keely said, hugging me. I could sense that she was tired and she had dark circles under her eyes, that was a bit concerning.

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm fine, just hurting lately."

"Hurting?"

"It's normal. HI Kassie!" She turned to Kassie which meant CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

I hugged her and smiled. I liked Keely a lot. She called me frequently to rant about Eli and such, but that was about it. Even so... I loved that she spoke to me. "I hope you're doing well, I still can't tell that you have a little one there! Maybe next month it'll be more obvious!" I laughed.

"I can't either!" I turned to my side and pulled my shirt back so it would hug my stomach more, "I don't have much of a bump really! I think I feel more pregnant than I look actually..." I blushed and let my shirt go so it poofed out, it was a thick strapped dress shirt that had a tie around under the chest part of it, blue. Everyone said that fit me best.

Hayden smiled but I could see that he was a bit worried, "I'm going to put these with your other gifts where..."

"In the dining room." I directed. "It's kind of a Hello Kitty themed party..."

I dragged Kassie away from everyone, I had talked to Eli about it a little bit but I had been told several times that it was normal, still... I wasn't sure she'd get it either.

"My stomach and back hurt a lot lately, it kinda started a couple days ago but I'm not sure what it is..." I was sitting in the main living room, no one ever went in there and it was always well kept if not a bit dusty sometimes. "I've asked Andy and my mom and Eli's mom and no one is concerned."

I frowned a bit. "They're not concerned, even though your really should be showing more pudge?" I had known a lot of girls in my previous occupation who had gotten pregnant, so I knew a few things. "Are your breasts sore? I've heard that when you're pregnant, your breasts get sore because they begin to grow."
