I kicked the door shut and then laughed, "I love you too, Katie Harrison!" I carried her up to the door and we opened it and were in the entrance of the house.

"...One!"

"WE'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!!!" WE screamed it at the top of our lungs and Eli, who was carrying a plate to the kitchen suddenly dropped it and stared at us.

So did Andy who flew out of the bathroom.

Mom came from the kitchen, Ian was at the stairs and I spotted Keely peeking out from the den looking like she'd been sleeping for the past few hours. Amanda ran down the stairs with half done toe, hot pink toenails.

Everyone was caught completely by surprise! 8D Perfect!

"NO WAY!" Keely and Amanda shouted at the same time.

Arron tumbled down the stairs, his eyes were huge. "Yeah, seriously?!"

I was nodding with a big grin and Andy was jumping up and down, squealing before baby Sean began crying, then she ran upstairs!

"The ring is so pretty too!!!" I exclaimed, holding out my hand and holding onto Zack with the other. <3

We were soon crowded with our family members marveling at the pretty ring on Katie's finger, it was silver with three studs in it, a bigger one in the middle.

"Oh my goosh!" Amanda gaped, "That is huge, Katie!"

"Wow!"

Ian was smirking, he'd known about this LONG ago.

"I knooow!!! I'm so excited!!" He finally put my on my feet, but I didn't want to leave Zack's side. "He has good taste, doesn't he?"

"Oh he does!!" Andy came around with little Sean and smiled happily. "So pretty on that finger of yours! It matches you so well!!"

I watched Mom nod and then lean in a little, "So when is the wedding?" She asked, I could tell she was containing a huge bucket of excitement just then.

Everyone else looked curious then too.

"April fifth!" I blurted.

Why did I blurt that? We hadn't even talked about it! *___*

"But that's in only two weeks!" Aaron stammered and Andy nodded. Eli was still staring.

"Eli and I spent... what? Seven months planning ours?" Keely looked at Eli and slipped an arm around his waist, "Even that didn't feel like enough time to plan everything."

"Are you sure about this, Zack?"

"Why not? It's... not going to be a huge wedding..."

Mom laughed hard at that, "Are you sure? We're counting everyone here, my parents, in-laws, friends... the list is going to be huge."

I shrugged. "Just close family and significant others. That's all I want. I don't want my wedding to be huge." My face grew hot and I stared at the floor. "But I suppose we could move it farther if that's what everyone wants..."

Mom seemed to smile at that, "That's fine Katie, if that's what you really want then that is what you will have. My wedding was enormous and I'd never asked for something so big..."

That was a relief, having so many people seemed a little much to me.

"And we can hold it in the backyard and air out the big dining room for refreshments!"

*Three Months Later*

*Hayden Burke*

I looked at the empty seat next to me on the bus on my way to an art show, it'd become really lonely since our little cyborg, Keely, got married... young in fact. Part of me wished I hadn't stood up and told my parents that she was old enough to make a decision... and I knew she was extremely happy with her life.

I missed her like crazy though. My four paintings for the show occupied her seat as well as a few small sculptors I'd put together just for the fun of it.

The bus stopped and I looked out the window but what I saw was not exactly what I'd thought I'd see.

I stepped onto the bus, holding my purse close to me. My boots made a lot of noise on the floor of the bus and I was shaking as I passed through a crowd of people to get to the middle. It was going to happen again. I knew it would. It happened every day I was on the bus, though I couldn't stop using it because I didn't even have enough money to buy some better clothes! T^T

I tugged at my short dress which I was wearing leggings under for once. It didn't cover me very well. I finally got where I was more or less comfortable in the bus and stood there shaking still. It was coming soon. It was. >///<

Lord, please help me. I'm so tired of it. I'm trying to change and this guy isn't helping at all! I just want to move on!!

And there he went again. he grabbed at my butt and my whole body froze and tensed up. I shut my eyes tight and hugged my purse.

That guy didn't just... I jumped out of my seat and people gasped as I kicked the guy to the floor and punched him directly in the nose and mouth, "You pervert! How dare you so inconsiderately do that to someone! You should be ashamed of-" I paused and punched him again, "yourself! People like you disgust me!"

So many people were gasping and by the time I got up my knuckles really hurt.

The bus drove off and I was standing on the curb with my paintings and the girl that had gotten groped.

"I'm sorry about that..."

I was laughing a little though. "No, don't apologize..." I smiled at him. "Thank you! He does that all the time, but I always freeze and I don't have the courage to fight him." I hugged my purse and looked away, staring at ground. I felt so insecure about myself and tugged at my dress, hoping to make it longer. Who made dresses this short anyway?! D|

"Well he's learned his lesson... I hope." I waved my hand to try and get the slight pain to ebb off. "I'm Hayden Burke by the way." I held it out to her and smiled, "I'm actually on my way to an art show if you want to come, we can get you something more comfortable to wear!"

I smiled a little. Kassandra Roland. Uh, b-but you can call me Kassie... or Kasey. O-Or whatever is fine." I gulped and shook his hand, my own shaking badly. I tugged at my dress again. "Ah, but it's okay. I don't have any money and you don't want me to come wearing something like this..."

I looked the part of my former life in these clothes and sighed. I hated them.

"Oh, I can get you something, it's no problem at all! In all truth... my little sister got married recently and I'm actually in need of some company... we used to go together but you look like you need a friend." I noticed her shaking and frowned, "Do I scare you? I'm sorry! I hope I don't come off sounding like a creep, aw man... I feel really bad now, dang it..."

I began to ramble and look for the correct words.

I'm sure I turned red as I was shaking my head. "N-No, you're not scary." I said softly. "I j-just don't think you want to ruin your reputation by talking to me is all."

"What? I don't really have a reputation... if anything getting violent there is bad enough as it is, you're fine." I really had a feeling she needed someone though so I smiled and continued, "Come on, I think you'll have fun... and I can tell you really don't want to be where you are right now."

I nodded. "O-Okay..." I said softly, glancing around to make sure no one looked at him oddly. "Y-You're sure though?" I asked, taking half a step forward.

"Positive." I said and then we walked away from that area, I took her to a store and let her pick out some comfortable clothes, "I think my sister might have some old things that'll fit you too..." I said, handing her a tee shirt and some jeans that I thought would fit her well, "This stuff is cheap but they are having a splatter event thing today, it's really fun! You either throw paint filled balloons or just splatter paint all over the sheet!"
