And I was crying, actually. "It's April fools... it better not be a prank!" I laughed and giggled and cried all at the same time as I reached out to hug him again. "Or I'll cry unhappy tears... the opposite o-of these." I was sobbing now. He'd actually proposed! He'd actually, really done it!

I was so happy! T^T

"It's for real." I chuckled and wiped a tear from under her eye, deciding not to tell her just how long ago I'd bought it and how long it waited to be on her beautiful finger.

"Don't cry..." I leaned in to kiss her, rubbing her jawline with my thumb, "I love you."

I know!!!!" I sobbed. "I love you tooooooooo..." The 'too' was elongated by my sobs of joy! "I almost didn't think this day would ever come... but it did!"

"I hated to make you wait but it's all worth it, we're really ready to be on our own now and take on life together, we can do that." I squeezed her hands and gave her a big teary smile.

I hadn't cried like this in years.

"Oh now look at me..." I chuckled loudly, "I should not be crying right now, how manly is that?"

"Very manly." I smiled and kissed him, wrapping my arms around his neck. "Hehe... I hear awws from outside. Is it replaying us?" I looked up on the screen inside the booth to see that it was. "Oh, it is!" I whispered before another sob caught me.

I kissed her to stop the sob, letting it linger for the longest time and taking in that feeling of being newly engaged to the most beautiful girl I'd ever laid eyes on. My very first love, Katie Harrison.

And soon she would be my beautiful Katie McGregor. <3

I melted into his kisses that soon followed. I was so much in love and happy that I couldn't stand it! "Oh, I love you!" I sniffed and hugged him tight. "You have good timing, y'know. Ian was ranting to me this morning about how he was upset at you because it was taking you too long to propose." I shrugged. "But later is better than never, right?"

"I thought this was perfect timing even without his rant, he complains to me too much as it is." I was really wanting to get out of the cramped booth but this was such a special moment, a memory we could share for years to come.

I laughed. "That sounds like Ian!" I grabbed our pictures and stepped out to see a crowd of people. I gasped, then they gasped.

"THAT WAS THE CUTEST PROPOSAL EVER!!!" A girl exclaimed.

I wiped at my eyes and looked at my pictures. Hehe, it really was cute! Hehe, my reaction!

I came out and stood next to Katie, she was so tiny next to me and people seemed to be going aww once we were standing together.

"REALLY CLEVER!" Some guy shouted, "Where did you think to do that?!"

"Actually... she and I met next to this place, I thought it'd add to the memories." I took her hand and laced my fingers through hers.

Our pictures were still being displayed on the little TV outside the booth.

I squeezed his hand and the tears were still coming. I couldn't wipe them away fast enough! I buried my face in his shirt and a ton of girls squealed. I was excited about my new ring!

"Show us the ring! Hold it up!!"

I sighed a little bit and turned to hold it up with a big smile. I was happy, but at the same time, I wanted to go home where it was quiet.

"GORGEOUS!!!!" Hehe! It sparkled! <3

I could tell she was taking it in and wanted time to really think about what happened so I thanked everyone for their congrats and escorted her from the mall. Opening every door for her including the car door and shutting it once she was in.

After I began to drive I held her hand in mine and tilted my head, "Are you okay? It happened fast, I know..."

I pulled my legs into the seat and smiled to myself. I had the most genuinely sweet man in the world. <3

"I'm fine and happy... I'm just bracing myself for when I wake up from this dream!"

"It's not a dream Katie... how can I prove to you that it's not a dream?" I asked a little cautiously, mainly because I had no idea what she'd ask me to do.

I grinned. I'd been picturing one specific moment for my entire life. Not the proposal or my wedding... but... "It's supposed to rain tonight, right? Well, if it is... take me outside tonight while it's pouring and kiss me!"

I raised my brows a bit and laughed, "Done and done!" How could I say no to another kiss from my beautiful fiancée? I just wished she'd believe that it wasn't a dream.

I squealed. "EEEK!!! Really?!" I bounced in my seat, though it was only one o'clock! "Aw!!! It's not going to be night-time anytime soon!" I squeezed his hand and kissed it, pulling it into a hug. It was all I could possess at the moment since Zack was driving. "I can't wait!!"

I was holding onto his arm like it was my lifeline to keep me from floating away in a sea of unmarriedness. Yes, his hand and the little lifesaver on my finger saved me from certain death! Hehe, my hero named Zack. My heroic hero saved me from being technically single for the rest of my life. Soon, I'd be able to check 'Married!'

I could tell she was in a daze but I wanted to talk about the future and what we wanted to do, "First off... how should we tell your family? No one knew I was going to propose today except for me."

I gasped. "They didn't?! Y-You saved it for me so I could tell them and they'd be all excited too?!" I smiled. "I love you so much. You're so good to me." Ah, the little things. <3

I pulled into the driveway and unbuckled to hurry and help her out of the passenger side before she did it herself. I opened the door and held out my hand.

I grabbed his hand launched myself out of the car and into his arms. He'd made me the happiest I'd ever been in my life! "I love you so much, Zachary McGregor!!"
