"I know being afraid is a bad thing in this case... but I'm a little scared." I admitted, "I just want to be happy."

I sighed, "Thank you." I felt a little bit better knowing it wasn't such a bad thing, I always felt like if I was afraid then I didn't have enough faith in God. "Have you ever faced anything scary before?"

"Besides this? Nothing more than having to bring an F on my report card home to my parents..." I laughed. "You've definitely got me beat."

"It's very small, it's like... not even terrifying. My Dad's wrath doesn't even seem scary right now." I laughed again.

"Nah, I think he'd only show it if someone was beating up his girls." I grinned, "I've never actually seen him use it... though Katie said he blew up once at a neighbor..."

"Someone stole Katie's doll and he went over there and yelled at the mother while Ian went in and got it back... it was so long ago." I laughed, "I wasn't even born yet!"

"Oh wow! I'll make sure I remember not to do that to Kara or Lane!" I laughed. "I don't want him to yell at me!"

I vaguely heard him ask me a question but I just sighed a little, I'd fallen asleep but then I snapped awake again and when I did it was morning and the sun was up! T-T I'd fallen asleep without a word!

I pulled on my basketball jersey that morning, still sort of laughing about Amanda falling asleep on me. "Amy... you're something else." I shook my head with a big grin and pulled on my jersey shorts.

I closed my dead phone and plugged it in, I had a game to go to tonight but I had to take some medication first so I wouldn't be crawling around my room to get ready.

"AMANDA!" Zack called, "Do you need a ride this afternoon?!"

I frowned, "I don't think so!"

I called Katie's phone, because I figured the reason Amanda didn't answer was because her phone died during the night.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Katie! Will you give Amanda the phone and tell her to charge hers?"

"Huh? Oh! Sure!! Hold on!"

I just finished putting it on charge and was changing my shirt when I heard Katie come in. I was shaking and failing to get a good grip on anything.

"Amanda! Your man friend is on the phone for you!" I heard Katie say in an overly excited voice. I just loved her family.
