"Well, the game starts at three... so we'll leave around two..." I yawned. "I wish you were with me right now, honestly."

"I guess I could hang out over there if you want to and then you wouldn't have to come pick me up." I suggested as I got back up so I could take my medicine. Bleck. Horse pills.

"Whatever you want to do, Love." I grabbed a cinnamon roll off the kitchen counter and hugged my mom. "Either way is fine with me."

"Okay, I'll have Zack bring me over." I said with a smile, "I'll see you in a few!" And with that I said bye and hung up and then got downstairs to leave. 8D

I flopped on the porch swing, waiting for her to arrive. My girlfriend whom I loved the most! <3

We pulled up at his house a few minutes later and before Zack could get the door for me I was already out of the car and flat on my face. I forgot that jumping was pretty much not something my body could do anymore.

"HI ARRON!" I shouted.

"A-Amanda!!!" I gasped, running to her. "Are you okay?!" I wrapped my arms gently around her and pulled her to her feet.

"I forgot that I can't do that anymore..." I muttered as I hugged my arms around his waist, "Thank you..." I waved back to Zack who was leaving.

"You're welcome, Beautiful. Let's go inside." I kissed her cheek and hugged her a bit before leading her to the front door.

I shrugged. "If they do, I don't notice it. You'll have to ask the other guys on the team... they pay more attention to that stuff!"

"Thanks!" I took one and started eating it layer by layer. "Mommaaaa!" I called, I liked to call his mom that, I'd only met her a couple weeks ago.

"AMANDA!" My mother ran into the kitchen and gave her a great big hug. "I didn't know you were coming today! It's so nice to see you!!!" She hugged her again.

My mother was in heaven. She always wanted a daughter, but I was the only child she could ever have.

"Yay, hi Mommy!" I giggled, I loved this woman, she was my spiritual mommy and I would always love her so much much!! <3 It broke my heart though because I'd still have to tell her about the diagnosis and I really didn't want to break anymore bad news right now. My whole family was kind of pouty. T-T

I yawned and stretched some, taking a seat at the bar. "You two need to go shopping at some point. You're a perfect match." I said with a grin.

"Ohhh! That'd be fun! I used to take Tricia shopping and she loved it! Oh, that'll be fun! What day should we go?"

"Can we go on Sunday? Or Monday maybe?" I asked curiously, "I have somewhere to be on Tuesday...." I frowned knowing I wouldn't be out of that hospital for a little while and by then my hair would be falling out.

"Oh yeah! That'd be great!!" Mom grinned. "Oh! That's the dryer!" And off she hurried.

I just laughed. "That woman is addicted to shopping, I'll tell you. She really is."

"Well then I look forward to going, it'll be a really nice thing to do before I have to be locked up for a little while." I said, reaching for his hand, "I love your mom though she's wonderful!"

I squeezed her hand. "She's happy to have a daughter again. She really loves you and is always begging me to bring you over. It's hard explaining to her that you have a family that loves you just as much!" I laughed.

"Aw, yeah they do but everyone is doing something lately. I'm worried now that they are going to do less because of me and I don't want anything to change..." I sighed.
