A month later I walked into the house carrying something in a blanket in my arms, it was warm but really rainy outside so I had to do what I did.

Katie would probably not like it though. T-T

"I'm home!" I called.

"ZAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed, running down the hall to greet him. "ZACK! I LOVE YOU!!!" I ran to hug him but stopped in my tracks when I realized he was holding something...alive. "W-What is that?"

A little mewling noise came from the blanket and I moved it some so she could see the white, orange and brown kitten I'd find outside. It was definitely a calico, but a very soft and creamy looking calico. She was very pretty.

"Meet Polli!" I said with a grin.

I squealed. "Oh!!! LOOK! She's so pretty! Aw!!!!" I pulled her out of his arms and hugged her tight. "Why hello there, little one! Oh, yes! You're such a cutie! Yes, you're all mine!"

I went back out to my car to get the cat food I'd purchased and just about every other cat item it would need. I put it all in the bathroom and made it nice and neat for her.

"If you are going to claim her then you can change her name I guess?" I offered.

"Nope! Polli is perfect!" I grinned and leaned up to kiss him. "Thank you! And it's just in time for our anniversary tomorrow!"

"Oh! Yeah, just in time, I'm so glad you like her!" I felt kind of pouty though, I really had wanted to claim her but Katie seemed pretty attached already.

I giggled and hugged her. "I wish fish were huggable. I need a fish plush." I handed the kitten back to him and it fell asleep immediately in his arms. "She likes you!"

"Yeah, I guess she does!" I did save her from the rain storm outside... I'd hope she'd like me! I laid her in her little pink and cream colored bed and then sat down next to it, "There, she's now got a home. I think I'll call the vet tomorrow and have her looked at to make sure she's healthy."

"I was kind of worried you wouldn't like her for that reason, but I can keep her in my and Ian's room if he doesn't care." I offered.

"Okay cool, I'll keep her in my room then!" I had a cat, she was my cat! 8DDD I was so happy, words couldn't even begin to describe how happy I was!

"OH YAY!" I jumped up and down happily and the cat stared at me. "Hello Polli! I'm your... eh... what am I?" I looked at Zack awkwardly.

"Your her mommy and I'm her daddy!" I grinned as I picked her up and she nuzzled her head against my chin, "See? She likes being the baby!"

Our moment was over, Amanda was here and she raced into the room where we were and stopped, "GUESS WHAT!" She cried.

"L-L-Look!" Amanda proceeded to pull out some snapshots from one of those little photo booths. They were pictures of her with what appeared to be an Italian? I guess he was Italian... the last picture sent a chill up my spine.

"He kissed me!"

I sat down at the edge of the bed and stared as Amanda began to go into the shocking details of how she met this boy at school and then how they'd been friends for a couple of years and suddenly their relationship status changed.

"He's coming to meet Mom and Dad tomorrow, his name is Arron!"
