"Aaron?! Oh he seems so nice! Does he like fish and cats?" I grinned happily. He seemed really great, but I couldn't know that unril I actually met him...

But still, he seemed really nice! 8D

"He has four cats actually, but I can't remember if he said anything about fish!" Amanda said eagerly then she sighed, "Katie, can you look at my back for me? My legs and back have been hurting all day. Aaron tried to massage it out but he said the knot seemed pretty bad..."

Amanda changed the subject pretty quickly, I hadn't noticed until now but she looked kind of uncomfortable. Even though she'd been smiling and laughing.

"Ah, sure!" I lifted the back of her shirt up, letting her hold the front down. "Where does it hurt?"

"Like... right down the middle." Amanda sighed, "I was trying to get Mom to look earlier but she said she'd get to it after we ate dinner but it's been hurting bad and it hurts to walk around..."

I frowned about to ask if I could take a look but I wasn't sure Katie would want me seeing her sister's bare back. D:

"Does it hurt where this weird bump is?" I asked, poking the bump.

"Yeah!" Amanda gasped and pulled her shirt down before stepping away. She sighed and tucked a stray hair behind her ear before going to pick up her pictures, "There's a bump there?" She asked.

I'd seen it, "Just a little..." I answered before Katie could.

I nodded. "I dunno what it is... maybe a painful wart...? You should ask Mom or Dad to look at it."

Amanda nodded with a smile, "I will, th-thanks..." She left the room in a way I could tell that she was trying to hide that she wasn't feeling well. I couldn't tell before but after she'd expressed pain it wasn't easy to miss.

"Did you see the way she walked?" I asked as I picked up Polli again, she was pawing at my leg.

"Yeah..." I frowned. "It's troubling. I wish I knew what that funky bump was..."

"Same." I wanted to keep an eye on her but I was going to be very busy for the next couple days, I knew her family would do a good job of keeping an eye on her though.

And then there was that Aaron guy. ._. We'd just have to see?

I sat on the front porch waiting for Aaron to show up and rubbing my legs tiredly, they hurt really bad and I wasn't sure what to do about it. Pain killers weren't helping and no one could even massage the tension out of my back, the pain was endless. I hoped with Aaron around that I could keep distracted for a bit.

"Amanda!" I ran up to her and immediately wrapped her in a hug. "How is your back? Still hurting?"

My eyes were watering but I hugged him back and rested my head against his chest, "Y-Yeah... I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for xrays." I explained and looked up at him with a smile but I wanted to change the subject, "Ready to meet everyone?"

I didn't like how she would always change the subject if she didn't like what she was talking about. "I am very ready! How many?"

"Oh... nine people..." I admitted nervously, I hoped he wasn't easily overwhelmed by crowds, our family was basically a large crowd of people.

"Oh man... that's a lot of people!" I laughed. "Anyway, introduce me! I'm eager to meet your so-called 'Best Family in the World!'"

"Okay, here goes nothing!" I walked slowly into the house, every step felt like eternity and I grabbed onto the door frame for support.

"He's here!" I called, everyone knew he was coming so they all ran, or rolled, out to meet him. It was easier to introduce people this way.

"From left to right! That's Mom, her name is Rhema, then there's Dad and his name is Kyle, after him we have Ian, his fiancee' Andy an their baby..." I pointed at Andy's belly, "Next we have Zack and Katie is Ian's twin sister, Zack is Katie's boyfriend! Elijah is older than me by two years after him we have Kara and Lane is the youngest!"

That was a mouth full.

I waved, wide-eyed. "Uhm, hi..."

"HELLO!" Uh... who was it? Katie... she ran at me and nearly tackled me in a hug. "You take great care of Amanda, okay? Or Elijah will beat you up! Amanda is his responsibility!"

I looked to my right to see Elijah with a big smile. He came over next and shook my hand, pulling me into a small hug. "Hurt her and you die, got it?" He pulled away and was still grinning. I gulped, but smiled. It was nice to already see how much her family actually cared about her.

"So, how old are you?" I looked to see Mr. Kyle looking at me.

"Uhm, sixteen, sir."

"Ah, okay! I'm going to the bathroom now!" I stared at him. Did he really just say that?

"Wh-Dad!" Elijah frowned a little.

"Elijah, he's smaller than you, I'm sure you can take care of Amanda."

I raised an eyebrow and surveyed the room.

"I'm hungry."

My eyes fell upon a girl with red hair, pulled into braided pigtails to keep it out of her face... she was pregnant.

"Ian, I'm hungry!" She looked up at him pleadingly. Augh... what was her name? Samantha... Sam? Um... A-Andy! That was it! Andy!

This was always chaos but it wasn't bad chaos. I hoped all the ruckus wouldn't scare off Aaron because I really liked him and I didn't really want to lose him because my family freaked him out.

"Nice to meet you!" Zack said with a grin, "We're not blood related but if you hurt her..." He put his finger to his throat and made a slicing noise with his mouth then announced that he was going to work.

"S-Sorry... all the men are protective like this..." I offered shyly.

I turned to her and smiled. "That's a good thing though! I'd be pretty worried if they weren't!" I said goodbye to Zack with a smile and a small wave after he gave Katie a goodbye kiss. He sliced his throat with his finger again. I nodded my understanding.

Katie grinned. "So, if I were you, I'd be more afraid of Elijah..." She whispered.

"Why?"

"Because the guys have divided up who's their responsibility, I have noticed. Mom and I and Andy are Ian's, Zack has more-so taken over me, Amanda, Kara and Lane are all Elijah's responsibility... and they all take this pretty seriously."

"Oh, okay..."

"Yeah, but you'll be fine!" She smiled sweetly at me. "I know Amanda has great taste in guys."

And there I stood near by with the oblivious face that all the guys said I seemed to have. I grinned and watched Ian putting his shoes on, I guess he was going to take Andy out to eat or something.

"Umm..." I looked at Katie wondering what to do next, this was the first time I'd ever brought a guy home! D:

She pushed us in the direction of the stairs. "Go show him your room!" She grinned at us. "He's never seen it before!"

I looked up the stairs but didn't move, if I walked up the stairs he'd really notice that I was hurting pretty bad. I took the first step and immediately bit my lip, it was so painful. I gripped the rails and then looked back, "C-Can we take the elevator?"

And boy did I lean on him, the pain I felt was indescribable and I wanted to cry. I opened the elevator door and we got on. I pushed the second floor button and it lifted immediately. We only had two floors in our house.

After it stopped I led him down the hall, clinging to his arm, "Okay... my room is the last door down."

I slipped my arm around her waist and pulled her close, helping support her. "You should get this looked at..." I whispered concernedly. "I don't like seeing you in pain."
