"T-Tomorrow..." I smiled before moving a loose hair behind my ear. I unlocked my bedroom door, Kara and I both had keys. I had a little canary that I was taking care of and she tilted her head curiously when I came in.

"Hello Baby." I said with a smile, that was her name, Baby.

"You can sit down if you want to, I have some video games and stuff..."

I smiled, he was so sweet and caring that I wasn't even sure how I ended up with him at all, why he picked me and not someone else. It was amazing.

"Oh, okay. I hope my family didn't freak you out or anything." I said.

"No, your family is wonderful! I love them! See? I'm still smiling!" I pointed to my grin and hugged her gently.

"Oh good!" I was so happy to hear that, some people just thought it was insane to have so many people under one roof but I loved it!

"They'll probably keep you for dinner, depending on what we're having we either eat in the den or in the dining room."

"Oh? I look forward to it! I can't wait!" I led her to sit down on the bed, and I sat beside her.

"Maybe we'll have something really good tonight..." I muttered as I sat down, I laid back and then rolled onto my stomach, it felt better to lay like that. "What do you like? Maybe I can put in a good word for you."

"I'll eat anything." I ran my hand through her hair. "What about you?"

"I'm not necessarily a picky eater but I still have my favorites." I said and then thought about it, "I really like curries and anything with a bit of a kick to it, I'm actually a hot wings junkie and can't go a day without a glass of milk..." I admitted.

"I kinda like apples." I replied as I laid completely flat with my head turned so I could see him. "Do you have any siblings?" I asked with a smile.

"One little sister. She's thirteen and beautiful... I have my hands full." I grinned happily.

"Aw, that's sweet!" I was about to say something else when I heard Mom calling me from downstairs to come and chat while helping with dinner, it was a big family thing to help with dinner and I supposed it would be a big meal with Aaron here.

It took every ounce of energy I had just to get up. "It smells like fajitas..." I pointed out as I was trying to move.

"Let me just go down to get a pain killer and then let Mom know I'm hurting... maybe if Andy isn't hurting she can help..." I knew she couldn't be hurting as bad as this, I was holding back tears. I got on my feet and walked towards the door, "You can play a game or come with me, either is fine." I offered, "Maybe Eli will hang out with you if you want to play two players until I get back!"

I frowned and wrapped my arms around her. "No, you stay here and I'll go. You don't need to be walking like this. But if you insist on going, I'm warning you, you're going to be carried."

I noticed the serious look in his eyes and then sat down in the nearest chair, "Don't over exaggerate it if you tell Mom, she might be inclined to call an ambulance." I gave him my own serious tone but I could never keep a straight face, I just wasn't that kind of person. I began to laugh, or rather, snort. >____<;;;; EMBARRASSING.

I smiled and kissed her softly. "I'm be good, I promise." I grinned and out the door I went! I sighed heavily. This would be the first time I'd ever spoke to her mother without her there... scary.

"It's right there!" I shouted, "See?"

"Ooh oh oh!" Lane exclaimed, "I sheee, I shee!" She cried eagerly, "Look, there's the clue!" My youngest pointed to the screen and I grinned, "You found it!"

"I DID!"

Kara grinned, "Yup, you found it, Laney!"

They were watching TV in the kitchen while I was cooking, it was so much easier to keep them out of trouble if they were right in front of me like the rest of my kids when they were younger. My most troublesome had to have been Ian and Katie though. D:

I walked into the living room to see Mrs Rhema and smiled a little. "Mrs Rhema, can I talk to you...?"

"Hmm? Why of course!" I said, aw she really brought home a cutie! And he looked so Italian too, wow! <3 What a find! I was thoroughly impressed and knew I'd raised her well!

"What about, sweetie?" I asked.

I turned a bit red. No one ever called me 'sweetie' and it was embarrassing! "Amanda's back is hurting her so I was going to ask if I could help cook in her place?" That right, Aaron. Keep it short and sweet so you don't worry her too much.

"Her back has been hurting her all week... we're taking her to the doctor in the morning so hopefully they can find what's wrong but in the mean time..." I got up and went to a small locked cabinet in the kitchen and unlocked it.

"Here, take these to her..." I poured Amanda a glass of milk, "And this, you don't have to help, I think can get Katie down here to cut the veggies and meat for me."

"Oh, yes ma'am. Th-Thank you! I'll get them to her!" I took the milk and pills and ran up the stairs. She needed pain pills and I nearly forgot! D:

"Good, I'll make sure the only thing she comes down for is dinner but if she can't just let me know and I'll send Kyle for her!" I called.

I felt like the worst host ever... he'd never been to my house before and already he was running around and doing stuff as if we'd already initiated him! Ugh... T-T Why? Why was I in pain?

I got up and went to my connecting bathroom and got some tissues, my nose was bleeding. I wanted to cry, this wasn't fair. Everyone had their romance and did everything right but I couldn't even give him a tour of the house.
