I rolled over, hearing my phone go off and Andy grumbling about it. I grabbed it and smiled when I read his text.

Hey, Handsome! I'm wide awake for you! Always! How chaotic was it? Was it really really bad? Or only kinda bad? I love you, and drive safe!

I got her text back and if she texted back I wondered if she was really awake and if she wanted me to call her or not. I was really struggling to keep my eyes open though so I had to talk to someone.

It was kind of bad, some guy blew up about something not being done the way he wanted it to be done because he wasn't specific. I offered to give him what he wanted and instead he threw a fit and made a false 911 call and after that he continued to trash everything when the dispatcher wouldn't send down the police.

I'd let her reply and then call if it was okay.

I gasped and pulled on my robe. Refusing to tie it, I also pulled my phone off the charger and headed downstairs, typing his number in and calling him to reply.

"Come on, Zack, pick up!" I whispered urgently.

My phone buzzed and I pressed send before putting it to my ear, "Hey." I said tiredly deciding it was time to get on the road. I was exhausted and hoping that I could keep my eyes open the whole trip back, not only that but I was starving because lunch was skipped thanks to crisis. "I'm sorry if I woke you up, Kat..."

"It's okay! I wasn't sleepy anyway!" But my immediate yawn gave me away. "Okay, well... that was a lie. Anyway, so did the police come when he started trashing stuff?"

"Yeah... after we called them." I replied as I pulled out into the street, the phone light was waking me up thankfully and I turned on the cold air in hopes of that helping some too. "I got a cut on my head when he threw something so I'll need a bandaid." I chuckled slightly though, "It'll be funny later."

I gasped. "A cut?! Oh no! Should I send Ian after him? He'll go beat that guy up! And I can patch you up in the meantime!" My family never took kindly to bullies, but considering what Zack went through, they took it even worse. Especially if it happened to Zack.

"No, it's fine." I said, "I'm driving home now and the guy got arrested so it's okay." I knew she was concerned but I was pretty laid back about it, I'd honestly felt worse pain in my life so I found a little cut pretty trivial and I'd already healed from my broken arm. >.>

"Do you want me to bring anything home?" I asked.

"Mm... Sonic... and a slushie!" I grinned. "I love slushies! Slushies are wonderful! And so are you. You're very wonderful!"

That made me smile, "Thank you, so you are you." I took a left in time to get to sonics and stayed on the phone with her to make an order. I got both of us sandwiches, fries and slushies.

"On my way home now, was your evening good?" I asked.

I shrugged, then realized he couldn't see me. "Eh... I didn't do much other than homework and pout because you weren't there." I sighed. And Ian carried Andy upstairs... that was pretty cute!"

I laughed a little, "That'll be funny later, especially when she gets bigger. I'd love to see him try to carry her around after that." I got onto the highway and followed it, eager to get home and eat. The food was really smelling amazing. T-T

I giggled. "Knowing Ian, he'd probably just grin and bear it so she wouldn't call herself fat. He hates it when she does that." I flopped on the couch. "How many minutes until you're home?"

"I should be there in about five minutes." I said, I didn't work too far from home thankfully so it was easy to get back quickly if I had to. Quick was nice in this case, it was late and we were both hungry.

I pulled into the driveway a few minutes later.

"Can you unlock the door for me, Love?" I asked.

I jumped up and ran to the door, pulling my robe around and tying it before opening the door for him. I shut my cellphone and grinned at him. "Hello, love!"

"Hello, doll!" I kissed her but couldn't hug her until I set our food down on the table. As soon as I did though she was in my arms. My love for her was really insane, I'd do anything for her. "Go ahead and get your sandwich, it's in this bag." I pushed it towards her and then picked up the bandaid that she'd left out for me.

"Let me kiss it first!" I begged, looking up at his scratch. "It needs a kiss!"

I bent down a little to let her kiss it, "If you must." I loved the way she was about injuries, if it was small and not making me bleed to death she had to at least kiss it before it was bandaged. >w<

I leaned forward and gave it four kisses. "Now it'll heal up extra fast!" I grinned and grabbed the bandaid from him and put it on the scratch. "There you go!!"

"Thank you." I replied before giving her a kiss and then sitting down at the table to eat. "Dang... I have two exams tomorrow and I haven't even done my homework for yesterday..." I muttered mainly to myself, it was going to be a long night or I was in trouble. "I'm so tired, Katie."

I frowned. "I'm so sorry... I-I'll stay with you until you finish it!" I hugged him and grabbed my food. "I'll stay awake, I promise!"

"I don't expect you to do that." I opened a ketchup packet and poured it onto the wrapper my burger came in. "I'll probably just try to sleep and then do the homework before night class if at all possible." I was smart, I could get it done quickly but that didn't help any sometimes.

"Please try to get some sleep after you eat. If I get it done tonight then I'll be fine." I leaned over to give her a quick hug and then continued to eat. The slushie would give me a short boost.

I chewed more of my burger. "But it's not fair for you to have to do homework alone so late!" He wouldn't let me stay though, would he?
