I laughed a little bit, "Really? I thought you always gave me more life than I gave you, I guess we're even then?" I asked curiously as I opened the door, but I waited on him.

"Nope! You're still beating me! I'm working hard to keep up!" I ran around and helped her out of the car and pulled her into a selfish hug. "I've been wanting to hug you like this practically all morning."

I gasped in surprise when he hugged me but it was such pleasant surprise. I hugged him back and pressed my cheek to his chest, "It feels good." I said.

"It does... and you fit perfectly. This is nice." I loved her more than anything and couldn't imagine life without her. "I can't wait for you to kick cancer's butt and remind him that he's just a passing thing in your life."

I gave him a laugh, "Yeah, I guess that's a good way of looking at it. It'll pass." I hugged him tighter, I loved being the one that fit in his arms.

I kissed her forehead. "It's an excellent way of looking at it! No contest!" I led her into the gym after that and found her a perfect spot. She could see everything from there.

And the team was already practicing some, but I wanted to sit with her a while longer. "I think I'm attached to you."

"I'm attached to you too, but you really should practice so I can watch you be awesome and cheer for you!" I kissed him lovingly, "I wish I could hold onto you though... at the same time."

I kissed her back and smiled. "Me too. I'd take you everywhere. But you better be prepared to give me another one of those kisses when the game starts. I know it'll give me good luck!"

"Okay, I can promise that!" I rested my head against his arm for as long as he was going to sit there, "I can't wait until dinner though, I want to make your parents smile!"

I wasn't sure how, I was a constant reminder now that I had cancer, I would remind them of what I said earlier and I wished I'd just held off on it for a bit... but how much longer could I have?

"Don't worry so much! Everything will be fine!" I kissed her neck and hugged her. "I don't want to go practice. I want to stay here with you forever."

"Aaron! Come on, we need you in practice!"

"Aw man... I don't want to go!" I buried my face in her neck.

"Okay, I'll be back for that kiss!" I touched my forehead with a smile and ran off to the court to practice. Ick. Practice. It seemed so uninteresting now that I had a girl I became head-over-heels for.

When he wasn't looking I leaned forward and gripped the edges of the bleachers, my back was hurting and I couldn't even lay down, I had to sit this way for the whole game. I took a deep breath and composed myself while watching him practice.

The bleachers began filling up and practice ended. I was already nasty and sweaty and took a seat by my love. "Hey, who's this beautiful lady?" I grinned, looking at her. "I hope she doesn't belong to someone, because I'm already attached."

I laughed. "Yes, well... stinky is my middle name!" I looked at myself and shook my head. "Okay, no hugs for you after the game. I don't want a girlfriend covered in my stinky sweat. I'd feel bad for you."

I gulped and stared at her. "Do I get another one of those if I do win?"

"Aaron! Go play! They're waiting on you!" She got up and pushed me toward my team.

"Oh fine!"

"Bye for now!" I waved, it was going to be such a long game, I wanted to sit with him again and then I couldn't wait to go and eat with his parents, it would be fun!

More than anything, I hated these bleachers!

Halftime. After running around the court for forever, our team was winning by one goal. Anyway, not it was time to throw the jerseys and our school's stuffed mascot.

I grabbed the two meant for Amanda immediately and tossed the jersey to her. Hehe... it had my number and last name on the back of it! >w>

I saw him toss the items and jumped up, immediately forgetting how my back and legs felt I snatched up the items and within a blink I was tilting forward, really not noticing until a landed on my side on the floor.
