"I know you are." Draco chuckled some and nuzzled her. "I'm so happy too."

Owen smiled warmly and touched her belly softly, then pulled her into a warm hug. "You are so gorgeous... I love you."

"You knew this whole time? I wasn't sure until today, I felt something... So what does this mean?"

Miranda giggled softly, "You look like you're going to cry..."

Draco sighed and began to explain about the eggs being laid with the fairies and left there.

"I might actually... I've always wanted to start a family, and here we are... starting one..." Owen sniffed a little bit.

"Really? That's sort of sad... But it sounds sweet too." Hika frowned, he seemed a little sad. "So you have detached yourself?"

Miranda gasped, "Really? I thought I just put on some weight..."

"Well, no... I just don't want to have to give them away. But...I also know they need to go to riders." He sighed then, sounding a bit sad. "I'm overly attached, really."

"No... no, this... this is a life." Owen smiled lovingly. "You didn't just put on some weight, you created a tiny life."

Hika nuzzled him gently, "I'm sorry... I had no idea... I should have been more careful." She sounded sad with him, "What can I do to cheer you up?"

Miranda gasped in shock, "I can't believe it!! This is amazing!"

Draco smiled to her and returned her nuzzling with more nuzzles. "Hmm... I'll be better in a bit. The fairies are good people." He licked his new mate again. "You're always able to cheer me up with just one look."

"I'm so happy!" Owen was grinning from ear to ear, happy tears streaming down his face. "A baby!! We'll be great parents!"

Hika laughed, "I am so glad! I can't wait to meet the fairies again, it will be so nice!"

Miranda's enthusiasm built up because of Owen's, she couldn't stop giggling. The next week arrived and they were back in fairy territory. Hika was really tired from the journey and Miranda didn't enjoy the ride as much as she usually did.

And if Miranda wasn't enjoying the ride, neither was Owen. He helped her inside, but the queen had to transfer Hika... since she was with eggs, she couldn't shrink herself to fit in the entrance. She soon found herself on comfy, clean hay, and there was a pillow nearby for laying on as well. Draco was with her, and he watched her with a loving smile.

OWen sat Mira down on a comfy seat when they were inside, and he rand his fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry you're feeling so bad, my sweet."

Hika was asleep mostly, she woke up to eat and drink, but she mostly curled up next to Draco and rested. Fairies were in and out to take care of her, which woke her up a lot.

Miranda sighed, "It's much better now that I can rest. I am really sore... Draco won't leave Hika, do you think she's okay?"

Owen nodded. "I'm certain she's alright... she's probably just about to lay the eggs. Dragons don't hold eggs for very long." He gently massaged her shoulders, kissing her here and there. "I'm sure she'll be alright though."

Miranda gasped and sighed in relief, "You are so amazing at this... Thank you. I can't believe it... I wish I could be there, I wonder if she's hurting. I guess I should just be relieved that Draco is there."

"Yes, it'll all be fine." Owen smiled to the queen as she walked in with her beautiful smile.

"You came! I am so happy to hear! Does this mean what I think it means?!" She squealed.

"Yes! There is a baby on the way!" Owen grinned.

Amiah giggled softly, "That is wonderful! Let me see you, Mira."

Miranda stood up straight and the queen approached her, she was studying her. "You look big already, what a precious miracle."

"My dragon is here also." Miranda replied.

"Oh, yes! I heard about that!" Amiah seemed to be very happy. "I am so happy for you all!"

Owen was just grinning proudly. He was definitely getting a bit of an ego trip out of this.

Miranda nodded, "We're really excited, also to be back for a little while. I am dreading the trip home, I didn't handle flying very well."

"Well, at least I don't experience your nausea..." Owen seemed relieved by that. "It's wonderful to be back though!" He seemed to be so excited. "I'm gonna be a dad!"

Miranda gasped, "How could I forget?! You're going to be miserable..."

"Don't worry too much, it shouldn't feel too severe for him. We'll make sure you are comfortable."

"Speaking of... Is Hika alright? I miss her and they won't allow me to see her. Is Draco taking good care of her?"

"Hika is perfectly fine, though she is sleeping a lot." Amiah smiled warmly. "Draco is cuddling her, and keeping her warm, and is even ordering her favorite foods for her. He gave her the comfy bed, and is sleeping on the hay, and he occasionally scratches her comfy spot to help her sleep. He is a very doting mate, so you needn't worry. She is very comfortable. We are going to make sure you will be comfortable when you give birth as well."

"Ha! I raised him well!" Owen grinned.

Miranda sighed in relief, "Is that so... I am glad to hear that, she complained so much before we got here, so I worried she might be in terrible pain. Draco is good at making her feel better though. Thank you so much." Miranda sat back down wearily. "Owen..." She giggled.

Amiah giggled. "Between you and me, dragons have a way of making things seem worse than they are. They always over-react."

"That's true!" Owen nodded with a laugh.

Miranda looked unamused, "So she's an attention seeker? I was worried this whole time for nothing?"

Amiah put up her hands defensively, "We aren't saying that, love... They are just dramatic."

Owen seemed a bit surprised at Mira's reaction, but his expression was hard to catch. He took her hand in his and smiled warmly. "Maybe... it's best if we just go to bed now. It's been a long day..."

"Sorry... I am a little lightheaded, the baby is moving a lot right now... Forgive me, Amiah."

Amiah smiled knowingly, "Don't worry, I have been pregnant twice and both times were different experiences. I understand perfectly what you are going through."

Miranda smiled, "Thank you, I will be retiring then... Goodnight."

Owen waved a goodbye, and escorted Mira to their room. "I'm tired!" He said with a yawn. "Sleep will be so welcome."
