Miranda nodded in agreement, "It shouldn't take that long for her to give birth... She has been here for days now, so leaving might be best." She smiled sadly, "Let's get home soon."

Owen nodded. "Alright, we'll say our goodbyes after breakfast and leave then." He replied. "I don't want to stay here any longer anyway."

"That sounds good." Miranda ate breakfast quietly.

After that was done, they said their goodbyes to Amiah and their dragons, at first, Hika protested.

Amiah didn't want them to have to walk to go home, so after a blessing for their children, and tearful farewells, she used her magic to send them both back home.

"Ah... home." Owen smiled. "Finally."

Miranda felt like she could keep crying, she missed Draco and Hika, but she had to focus on helping Owen get better, so she did.

She was in the kitchen making sandwiches, it would be a surprise, he hadn't had them in a while.
"Owen! Come get some dinner!"

Owen stumbled into the kitchen and smiled lovingly. "Oh, dinner! What is i-" He gasped. "Sandwiches! You're the best wife in the world!!"

Miranda sat down a big plate in front of him, "Three! This brings back such good memories... Our lives have changed so much." She touched her stomach with a fond smile, "I wonder how they are doing..."

Owen laughed. "The first time you ever cooked for me... I was so excited! You make the most amazing meals..." He grinned after already devouring an entire sandwich. "I'm really glad to have met you."

"I love to cook for you, it's my favorite part of the day!" Miranda leaned over, as best as she could while pregnant, and kissed his lips, "I feel like I haven't kissed you in so long..."

Owen chuckled and returned her kisses. "Mmm... I know what you mean. I love kissing you... it's my favorite pastime actually."

Miranda giggled, "Oh really? It's been a while since we kissed like that... It feels so nice." She kissed him again, just because she felt so happy to be with him.

"Why thank you... You are too!" Miranda eventually had to remind him that dinner was getting cold, and promised more kisses after eating.

Miranda agreed, "I know, but you can get more soon... I can't just reheat sandwiches."

A few days later, Draco and Hika returned, Hika looking very thin and relaxed. Then, a couple months later, Miranda gave birth to their twins. One girl and one boy, the boy was born first.
They were so excited to finally be parents, things were going very well.
