"Alright... whatever has to be done." Miranda sighed anxiously. Twins...? Did that really have to happen, giving up one and keeping the other? Or would Elsia let that happen?

"Alright..." Miranda smiled and moved to return his kisses, her heart was quickly forgotten at the thought of marriage. She couldn't wait to be his forever.

Owen smiled lovingly and returned every kiss she returned. It wasn't bad, or inappropriate... it was just how they chose to deal with their grief... by sharing their love for each other.

"I wish I could have fought it off... said something to throw her for a loop. I feel so selfish doing this." Miranda pressed her forehead against Owen's, her eyes were welling up with fresh tears. "I'm so sorry."

"Don't be... it isn't your fault. I don't want to lose you either." Owen ran his fingers through her hair and sighed softly. "This wasn't your fault at all."

"Elsia told me that she'd trap my soul in a bottle and that she'd make me watch you suffer... If she kills me, I wish she'd leave you and Draco alone. It's not right, you two did nothing wrong."

"I think she's just talking big... there's no way she can make a dragon suffer... she can't be that powerful."

Draco nodded slowly. "Maybe Owen, but not me. My magic is far greater than hers."

Miranda couldn't help but giggle at Draco's comment, she moved aside for a moment to give him a little kiss, "I love you both so much... thank you."

"We love you too... you're our wonderful lady." Draco nuzzled her softly, and Owen gave her a passionate kiss.

"Don't worry about a thing. It'll all be sorted out."

"I won't worry then, I'm in your capable hands!" Miranda perked up a little bit after the kiss, her cheeks were a healthy pink despite the sniffles she had. "We ca-" She gasped and cringed, her chest was on fire.

Trying to find a way out? We had a deal, remember that. I'll remind you every time you slip up.

Miranda leaned into Owen, she began to cry all over again.

Owen frowned and held her tightly. "Don't worry, she isn't as powerful as she seems."

Draco rumbled softly and nuzzled the back of Mira's head. "Pretty lady... don't cry."

"She's hurting me though..." Miranda forced herself to calm down again, she couldn't just make a plan with them, Elsia could see through all of that.

"We should go..." She glanced at Draco, "To do things..."

Draco nodded slowly and stood. "Let us go then... Owen, don't do anything stupid."

Owen sniffed a bit and smiled. "I'll just work on the house here and there a bit, and rest here and there too."

Miranda kissed him and hugged him tight, "I love you soooooo much! I'll be back before you know it!" She backed up slowly and then climbed on Draco's back. She felt like an expert dragon rider.

Draco rumbled a light chuckle and before Mira could reply, he'd taken off and they were already climbing in the sky.

It felt refreshing to fly, she felt like it had been a while since she got to feel the breeze on her face, her hair whipping around in the wind - she loved it.

"Draco... you know exactly where the fairies are?"

Miranda obliged, she loved to see the scenery but she'd rather not let Elsia find the beautiful place he spoke of. She closed her eyes and buried her face in Draco's neck, she figured she'd end up falling asleep.

She did.

Miranda opened her eyes and blinked sleepily, flying was so relaxing - like gliding... on clouds. She yawned and sat up, stretching the soreness out of her back. "Draco...?" She sniffled a little, her cold was still bothering her; but not as bad as earlier on on in the day.

"Yes, I am here... please get off, we must walk from here, and I won't be able to carry you, as I must shrink." The dragon's deep voice shook the young woman on his back.

Miranda climbed off and felt her chest burning again, all the painful reminders of her heart being stolen, a bruise was forming there... she didn't expect that.

"Draco, I'm a little afraid..."

"Would you rather not come?" The dragon asked, shrinking into a much smaller form. "I could allow you to stay here and I could go alone."

"I'm not afraid of the fairies..." Miranda turned to him and revealed her bruise, "It doesn't look normal... what is she doing that's making me hurt so much?"
