Re: The Distance Between Us
Camille nodded slowly and dropped it in her pocket. Then she smiled more confidently to Krys. I want you back more than you want to be back. I've missed so much of your life, and I want to raise you to be a beautiful woman, and I want to give you siblings as well. If I have my way, you will definitely come back.
Re: The Distance Between Us
"O-Okay... please don't hurt yourself." Krys was very nervous, she wanted to come back but the chances of coming back were so slim. "What are you going to do with the earring now?"
Re: The Distance Between Us
I'm not sure yet... I need a way for your father to lift my curse. I need magic to destroy this earring because I don't know how else to do it. Camille admitted. He knows my name, but it hurts him if he tries to say it...
Re: The Distance Between Us
Krys frowned deeply, "You can't set it on fire? Maybe I can destroy it?" She offered, "I know some magic!"
Re: The Distance Between Us
Oh, well then... here. Camille set the earring on the floor and stepped back. She wasn't sure how powerful her daughter's magic was.
Re: The Distance Between Us
"... I don't know, Mommy... if he's starting to remember maybe he can try again!" Krys stopped staring at it, "There has to be... you found it, just keep it!"
Re: The Distance Between Us
Camille picked up the earring again and dropped it in her pocket. She nodded slowly and began walking out of his room. Maybe... I guess. But that's only if he wants to. I can't force him to say my name.
Re: The Distance Between Us
"He'll try again!" Krys said eagerly, "I can't wait, I'm sure it'll be fine! He needs to hear your voice again!"
Re: The Distance Between Us
She nodded some and went back into the kitchen. She was scared of Uli showing up, so she prayed she wouldn't. Not until Jack came back. She needed him to say her name. She needed him so much.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Jack sighed as he came in, "Long day... even though it was short." He smiled when he saw Camille, "So I almost got it again I think! I'm going to guess!"
Re: The Distance Between Us
She tilted her head and smiled some, and then wrote for him.
Oh? Guess away! And I hope it was a good day, nonetheless.

Re: The Distance Between Us
"It was okay... Cam..." He started to cough again but ignored it, "CAMI-" Another fit of coughs, he was getting irritated especially when he tasted blood again.
"Daddy, you can do it!!" Krys cried.
"CAMILLE!!"
"Daddy, you can do it!!" Krys cried.
"CAMILLE!!"
Re: The Distance Between Us
She didn't think he'd ever really guess it... but when he actually said her name, she felt the chains locking her voice and magic, melt away. She sighed, and almost began to cry. "Y-You remembered." She cried. "You actually remembered my name."
Re: The Distance Between Us
Jack heard her voice and blinked, "It was... at the back of my mind but I couldn't really reach it..." He smiled, "It's a beautiful name."
Re: The Distance Between Us
She smiled to him. She wanted to run and hug him.. but she couldn't read his expression to tell if that were true or not. She gulped and pulled the earring out of her pocket and set it on the floor. "First things first..." She muttered, bringing forth her magic to destroy the last piece of Uli there was.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Jack watched in surprise, the pain from coughing was gone and he no longer felt so confused but he was also in shock. The earring on the floor snapped once the magic hit it and it disintegrated instantly. The force of the noise made Jack take a few hopping steps backwards.
Re: The Distance Between Us
She huffed and sighed, then turned back around to look at Jack with a slight frown. "Do you remember me? It doesn't matter right now. I have to go bring our daughter back." She approached him quickly and shoved her hand into his right pocket and pulled out the watch, then hurried out the door to Krys' grave.

Re: The Distance Between Us
"Wha-" He saw his watch disappear and he almost thought about following her but he didn't, she was a woman on a mission and he couldn't help but smirk. He just watched her disappear and then wolf whistled.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Her heart beat sped up when she heard that whistle and she glanced back for a moment. What was he doing? Why was he looking at her like that? She would give him a piece of her mind really soon for that. >(
She arrived at Krys' grave moments later, and took the hair form the inside of the pocket watch, and placed it on the top of her grave. She sighed heavily, and began to sing a very long healing incantation. One she'd been forced to memorize, but had never had to use all of it before now.

Re: The Distance Between Us
Slowly the dirt began to shift and blow around as a sharp wind gusted through, whipping her hair around as the dirt disappeared and the lid of the coffin tore open but vanished instantly. Krys' body floated up and out of the hole and gently landed on the ground right next to Camille.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Camille didn't flinch as she continued the long incantation, eyes closed to avoid distractions. She refused to let her daughter stay dead. She wanted Krys back. When she finally finished, Camille sighed and opened her eyes.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Krys' laid still for a moment and then her fingers twitched a little and her hand closed into a fist. A tiny gasp came and her eyes fluttered open and she winced, adjusting to the light shining through the trees.
Re: The Distance Between Us
"I promised I'd bring you back!" Camille smiled lovingly. "Gosh... you're so beautiful." She moved a lock of Krys' hair aside. She loved her little angel.
Re: The Distance Between Us
Krys attached herself to Camille instantly, sniffling and holding on tightly, "I missed you!" She cried, "I knew it'd work..."
Re: The Distance Between Us
Camille wrapped her arms tightly around her daughter, and stood up, holding her close. She cried, and Krys cried, and they were both crying together. "I couldn't have done any of this without you, Beautiful."
