Re: I live in a Tent
"Wha-?"
"I SAID LET HER GO!!" I looked back to the man just in time to be punched in the face. I let go of the girl and fell backwards.
-Kyrn-
"Are you okay?" I knelt down beside her. "Where did he hurt you?"

Re: I live in a Tent
It worked and I sobbed at how surreal it seemed that I was free. I looked at my arms and winced, he'd bruised me badly. "Mm... just my arm here... all my other bruises are healing." I sniffled and thanked him over and over again, "How can I ever repay you?"
Re: I live in a Tent
I smiled a little and kept glancing back at that guy to make sure he was still on the ground. He was knocked out cold it seemed. "Ah... you don't have to repay me. But... I'm going to take you to the healer so she can look over you." I helped her up and smiled. "Can you walk?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"Mhm... thank you." I couldn't believe my luck, on the day I screamed someone actually took me seriously and saved me. "OH, my name is Nymm by the way..." I smiled, "What's yours?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"Ah... Kyrn." I said softly. "Sorry if he really was your husband... because I didn't hold back at all with that punch..." I rubbed my hand a bit. My knuckles were bleeding. >3<
Re: I live in a Tent
I shook my head, "No, he's not my husband. He tore me from my home one day and has been holding me hostage for months... I was afraid but thank you so much for saving me. I can bandage your hand for you."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Wouldn't that be painful for you?" I asked with a small laugh. "Your wrists are all bruised up. It looks like it's painful just moving them."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Yes, it can be painful but I don't mind helping. I'm so sorry you had to do that... but I appreciate your help so much."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Well.. if you really want to... but I can always just let the healer do it. I mean... I don't want you to feel like you have to. I'd been looking for a reason to punch the guy since I saw him glaring at you." I gulped. "Anyway... if it hurts, you shouldn't have to do it."
Re: I live in a Tent
"If you're sure... anything I can do at all?" He didn't seem to be the type that would take advantage of me. "I'm a good cook!"
Re: I live in a Tent
"I-I don't know..." I said softly. "I don't usually have people ask me how to they can help... I mean... I'm not sure how to tell you how to help. I mean... you're not obligated to help me or anything just because I helped you..."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Oh okay... I hope my home is still in tact, I'm not sure what I'll do when I get back there." I yawned. "This is very hard for me..."
Re: I live in a Tent
I looked at her with a small frown. "Well.. if you need someplace to stay, I have an extra bed that's just collecting dust. I mean, it's not super nice or anything, but... it's warm... and free."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Ahhh... any bed is nice, I haven't slept on a bed in sooooo long." I smiled at him, "Thank you again and again and again. You are a life saver! You're very brave too... were you in the royal army or anything?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"Ah... well, I was... but then I took an arrow to the knee." I shrugged. "It acts up every now and then so I'm not in the army anymore." I smiled to her. "You're really perceptive."
Re: I live in a Tent
"You have really good posture, just noticed." I winced though, "That sounds unpleasant... but almost relieving that you wouldn't have to get back into it."
Re: I live in a Tent
I laughed some. "The posture never leaves you. But yes, her highness the queen was very kind and allowed me leave. Ah! We're here." I stopped in front of a small building and opened the door for her. "After you."
Re: I live in a Tent
I stepped inside in front of him and noted how good it smelled. Like something smokey but sweet and tangy at the same time, various herbs most likely. I loved that scent. "Mmm... I love this. I feels cozy."
Re: I live in a Tent
"You'll love the healer too. She's my sister, and she's very sweet." I smiled and walked her to the back so she wouldn't have to wait. These were the perks of being the brother.
Re: I live in a Tent
"Oh that's good... I'm sorry, I faked my stomach hurting." I said when I got in there, "I just wanted to get away from him as soon as possible."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Oh, well, you had me fooled!" I laughed a little. "Well, as long as we're here, my sister can still check you over and make sure you and your baby are alright."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Thank you, I appreciate that." I laughed, "Sorry for worrying you though..." I found a chair and sat down tiredly, "I guess he'll have to do his own shopping."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Oh? So he had you walking around shopping for him? But... I mean, I don't know much about pregnancies... but I thought you weren't supposed to walk so much when you're that big..."
Re: I live in a Tent
"You aren't... I should be resting all the time now." I frowned, "But all he would buy were eggs and then complain because all I cooked was eggs and there was nothing else so I had to do the shopping."
Re: I live in a Tent
"HAH!" I laughed. "What an idiot, oh maaan."
"Who's an idiot?" My sister asked, stepping in the room.
"Ah, just... some idiot..."
"Yes, idiots are usually idiots, Kyrn." She shook her head. "I'm sorry, Miss. I'm Kayla. Excuse my brother here." She looked back to me and frowned. "What happened to your hand?!"
"I, uh..."
"Come here, let me bandage it!"
"Ah, shouldn't you be checking on her first?"
"She doesn't look like she's feeling ill, and there's pain all over your face! Get over here!"
"No! You make sure she's ookay first! I'll be fine! Bye!"
"Kyrn-"
I shut the door before she could catch me. >.>
