Re: I live in a Tent
"Nothing at all, I'm just going to lay down for a little bit." I looked back at him and saw his face looking pale, "Try to sleep more if you get the chance..."
Re: I live in a Tent
"I will! Thanks!" I nodded and changed from my cow boots, to my everyday boots. Then I checked to make sure the regular items she used were in a place for her to get to easily. Then I left. "I'll be back in a bit! Don't do any cooking or cleaning, or I'll have Kayla fuss at you!"
Re: I live in a Tent
"FINE." I called out to him as he was leaving. I headed for bed though and laid down since I'd already done some dusting around the house.
Re: I live in a Tent
-Kayla-
I walked back to their house with a frown. Kyrn skipped out on me when I was questioning him and told me he had to go do someone a favor. I wanted to chase him down, but I needed to take a look at Nymm... apparently she hadn't been feeling well. I sighed and opened the door to the little blue house and walked inside. I went to her bedroom and found her laying there. "Hello, Beautiful. Are you asleep?" I asked softly, setting my basket on the table in the room.

I opened my eyes and smiled before sitting up. "Mm, no. I just decided to rst before you showed up. Hey, do you have allergy medicie for Kyrn?" I asked. I always thought of him first!
Re: I live in a Tent
"No... why? Has he been coughing?" I frowned. He wouldn't hide that from me... would he? >|
Re: I live in a Tent
"Quite often... He says his allergies are acting up a bit since it's spring now. He seems stubborn!" I rubbed my belly a little when the baby kicked.
Re: I live in a Tent
"He doesn't have allergies... Nymm." I frowned and began checking her over. I understood that he probably didn't want to worry her, but... she needed to know if she was living with him. Just in case something bad happened.
Re: I live in a Tent
"What? I don't understand... is he catching something?" I felt nauseous. She sounded so serious.
Re: I live in a Tent
"No.... he has a terminal illness." I explained softly. "The coughing means the medicines staving it off aren't helping anymore. He's slowly dying, and there isn't a cure for it. I suppose he just didn't want to worry you... but I think you should know about it in case something happens." I sighed. "He acts like it doesn't bother him... but I know it does." I frowned. I was terrified of the day I wouldn't have my big brother anymore.
Re: I live in a Tent
I wasn't sure how to take this. I had grown to like him so much already... this didn't seem fair.
"So any day... he could die?"
"So any day... he could die?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"Yes... I suppose so..." I frowned. "It's not particularly fair, I don't think... considering how loving and caring, and wonderful he is. Everyone in the town knows about it though. They all love him, and give him things to do, because they know he loves to help out. It'd probably make him feel bad if he wasn't allowed to help them." I gulped some. "Anyway, you seem fine. How are you feeling?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"I... I feel a little crampy... mmm, I am sorry, this is shocking." I felt horrible so I laid flat again.
Re: I live in a Tent
"Hmm... well... this should help with the cramps..." I handed her some medicine. "Take it twice a day... morning and night. And... watch out for Kyrn, please. I'll be looking into some more medicine for him... he's too young to die yet." I stood up straight and smiled a little.
Re: I live in a Tent
I nodded sadly. Another day my baby wouldn't be coming. And now this...
"I will. Thank you."
"I will. Thank you."
Re: I live in a Tent
"No, thank you. He smiles a lot more since you came along. He definitely enjoys your company." I smiled sweetly to her. "Anyway, I think I'll go... Call for me again if you think the baby is coming!" I put my things back in my basket. "I'll check on you tomorrow! Bye!" Just as I opened the door to her room to leave, I saw Kyrn standing there.
-Kyrn-
"Hey! How is she? Is she alright?" I asked, a little concerned. I'd cleaned Yvin's house as quickly as I could to make sure I got back in time.
"She's fine! The baby isn't coming today! But send for me if you think it is again! I'll check on her tomorrow!" She kissed my cheek and headed out. "Toodles!!"
I sighed some and then smiled at Nymm. "Hey, how are you feeling?"

Re: I live in a Tent
"Not very good. I really thought today was it... anyway. Did you have fun?" I asked. I decided not to bring up his illness. I was still mulling over it.
Re: I live in a Tent
"Yeah, I did! IYvin paid me. I told him he didn't have to, but he said he'd beat me up if I didn't take the money." I sighed. "So I decided to get you some things!" I pulled a bag in from in the hall and sat down in a chair by her bed, and pulled her presents out, one by one. "Um... you said you really wanted a baby girl... didn't you? Ah... I couldn't remember... so I bought clothes for baby boys, and baby girls!" I grinned and set them in her lap. "And... I got some things for you too! I figured... well, since you shouldn't be pregnant for much longer... you might like to have some nice clothes to wear once the baby comes! And... well, you look like you'd be about the same size as my sister, so... I got you a few dresses. they're simple, but I thought you'd look pretty in them." I smile and laid them out for her to see. "And... I got some baby toys... see? And a few bottles.... oh! And this! I wasn't sure why, but it just seemed to scream for me to buy it for you! Here you go!" I grinned and handed her a little figurine. It was a wooden carving of a mother and her baby.
Re: I live in a Tent
I was having trouble not crying. He was so amazing and I was going to lose him.
"Thank you so so much, I love everything! You are the sweetest!"

Re: I live in a Tent
I felt my face heat up into a blush. "Ah... th-thanks. I just... wanted you to feel a little spoiled. Every girl should spoiled. That's what my dad said." I smiled some. "Anyway, I-I'm glad you like all of it. I was a little afraid you wouldn't..."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Why is that? I appreciate everything you do all the time!" I tried not to cry, the more I looked at him the worse he looked, he was really sick... how had I missed it?
Re: I live in a Tent
"I don't know... I just don't usually buy things for women. I was afraid you wouldn't like the clothes or something..." I said softly. "I'm glad you do though. That makes me happy!" I smiled. "Anyway, I hope you feel better... did Kayla give you any medicine?"
Re: I live in a Tent
"Ooh, I love them! Yeah she gave me some medicine for the cramps but I honestly thought I was having a baby today... I'm a little disappointed."
Re: I live in a Tent
"Ah..." I frowned. "That's frustrating." I picked up the medicine and looked at it. It was the same powder she used to give me for my coughs. It was good for a lot of stuff. I got a drink for her and mixed the powder in, then handed her the cup. "There you go!" I smiled.
Re: I live in a Tent
"Thank you, you're sweet." I sipped it down and then set the empty glass aside. "So I guess I'm going to stay in bed for today... but then again, walking could speed it up so maybe I can just pace around?"
