Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Yeah... and it's an item to be sold..." I said softly. "WAit here, don't panic, I'll be right back, I swear. You can even watch me." I touched my nose gently to hers and wiggled my head before jumping off to grab MY amulet from whomever was selling MY amulet. >|
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I just watched him hop around like a cat and I wanted to giggle because it was hilarious watching him grab the amulet. He was such a cat. 8|
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I ran back with a screaming shop owner after me and hopped up on the horse. "Make a sharp left and then full speed ahead!" I exclaimed, digging my claws into the front of the saddle.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I made a sharp left and the horse began to run, it felt like we were flying so it wasn't scary like I thought it would be! We were off with the amulet even though I'd probably never come to this town again.
Julius...
Julius...
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"I would have had you pay for it, but he wanted five thousand gold for it! I'm not paying five thousand gold for my own amulet!!" I exclaimed. "Another left!"
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I took another left and the horse just kept flying, "Yeah but now we can never come back here!" I said to him aloud, "You are really something, Julius!"
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Well, he should have paid to have it checked for a tracking spell! It's an easy enough spell and wouldn't have cost much!" I replied. "He was just stupid! Beside, a lot of those people seemed really shady!"
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"You're shady too now! You shady cat!" After running forever we finally exited the town and were deep in the forest again. I thought I was okay doing magic... the amulet would do most of it anyway.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
Farther into the forest, we stopped and I sighed. "Alright, are you ready?" I asked softly.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"I suppose... am I going to pass out again?" I asked him nervously, I wasn't sure how much energy this was going to eat up.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Ah... no." I said softly. "Probably not. Put the amulet around your neck. What it does, is over years, it takes a little bit of energy from non-living things around it, every day. It's been collecting energy for over two-hundred years. You won't deplete it with this spell at all." I assured her. "You won't have to use any of your own energy." I sighed... "But I can't guarantee that I won't pass out."
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Oh okay... well... here it goes." I recited everything he told me to and then I could see the energy coming off of the staff when I aimed it at him. What happened after that was such a blur, I saw his spirit change shape a little but it was overshadowed by the bright aura from the magical elements in the air.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
The transformation was just as painful as last time. The pain was excruciating and I did end up passing out half-way through it, only to wake up a few hours later with a headache. I sat up and felt of my head and I was shocked at what I felt.
I still had cat ears.
I still had cat ears.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Julius...?" I saw him shift a little bit and scooted towards him to see if he was okay, his spirit figure was different now, much taller and just like I remembered it only... the ears were an added touch. "Are you alright?"
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I blinked and smiled at her. "Yeah, I'm fine." I said, reaching out to pull her into a big hug. "I'm fine. Thank you so much." I hugged her tight. I loved her so much. I really loved her.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
Eep! It took me by surprise when he hugged me the way he did, but I loved it. It felt more amazing than cuddling him as a furry cat. "Y-You're welcome." <3
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I pulled her into my lap and gently planted a kiss on her lips. I said how I felt about her would be revealed once I was turned back to a human. Well, I was revealing it now. "I love you." I said softly. "A lot."
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I gasped but couldn't help but giggle at the idea that Julius had loved me this whole time. I loved him too but I felt strange saying so... but now I didn't. "I... love you too." I hugged him tight.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I held her close to me. I probably needed to hurry up and find the others, considering we were all pretty hungry most likely, but I wanted hold my new lady a little more. "I still have my cat ears." I said with a laugh.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"I guess I did something wrong... maybe if I try again?" I asked, I felt bad because I must have misworded something.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
I shook my head. "Only if you don't like them. Otherwise, they're fine." I was beginning to realize just how hard it must be for Marcus and Gill to keep to themselves. It had been two hundred years since any of us had even touched a lady. I was already having trouble holding myself back. Even after kisses.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"I wonder..." I reached over and scratched behind his ear just to see if it would twitch like it did sometimes. I would definitely keep them if they did that.
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
It felt so good. It immediately calmed me down and I felt my ear begin to twitch. "N-No... not fair." I mumbled. "You can still do that..."
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"Yeah, I guess that means you are keeping them." I rested against him tiredly, it had been a long day already and then I remembered, "How do we find out what happened to our group?"
Re: Oh... this sounds similar.
"I have tracking spells on them... they just aren't activated." I said softly. She'd made me sleepy. "I can make a portal to where they are if you want."
