"Oh? Aaron said something about having her spend the day with him and Amanda to cheer her up. She has been a little down lately, but that's to be expected with Amanda being in the hospital and all."

I frowned, "I miss Mandy... I'm not even sure how to take this still, it's all shocking and she's had this problem for a while..." I looked around, wondering if Katie was lurking somewhere.

Zack was cutting some ham up, "I hated seeing her rushed to the ER the other day... dang it..." He slammed the knife down through the ham and then again, "So it's not just me Katie is sad about...?"

"Nah... I think you holding off on proposing is making her sad but I think this whole thing with Amanda is too."

I watched Zack and frowned. "Yeah, I agree with Ian. I think it's kinda both... but she talked to me and she told me that she'll wait on you no matter how long it takes, Zachary!" I patted his back. "I think it's just a multitude of things. I mean, it probably doesn't help that her very best friend is... oh! The baby's kicking! Aww!!" I rubbed my belly happily.

I grinned and went over to feel, I loved it when the baby kicked because it reminded me just how close I was to being a father, part of that scared me but the other part was excited!

Zack looked relieved but I noticed a bit of frustration on his expression, what was that?

"Aw... how's my boy? Busy practicing for sports huh? Or are you going to surprise us and do something completely different?" I pretended to not notice Zack's frustration and focused on Andy and the baby.

I giggled. "I think he's going to be a surpriser! He's going to surprise us every chance he gets!" The kicking got more violent and I gulped, sweating a little. Sometimes it really hurt. "Ow, baby... don't kick me there please..."

"Hey, settle down!" I sighed, "Just a couple more months and then you can do what you want... hehe, he'll certainly have the room too. Boy he's going to be so spoiled, all these family members we have."

Zack smiled and then put the pizzas in the oven and walked away. THAT MAN. >| SO CONFUSING.

When Ian fussed at him, the baby immediately stopped and I sighed, my eyes were watering. "He'll love it. And I'm afraid Dad will abduct him from us. We'll have to watch that man." >.>

"But Dad has to watch Lane and she's still tiny so maybe he'll be distracted with her undeniable cuteness for the time being..." I frowned and sighed, "It's no use... a baby boy is going to make him all excited."

"He's excited over anything small and baby like." I said with a laugh. "He loves kids!" I pulled his mask down and leaned forward to kiss his lips softly.

My face turned red and only because I was kind of upset that she was risking getting my cold! D: But I loved her kisses and I wanted more. T-T

I smiled. "There! I've now been contaminated and you can take all of that stupid stuff off!" I laughed, taking a seat in his lap. "I can risk getting a tiny little cold."

I took off the items and sighed, "You..." I chuckled, kissing her gently and then while sitting there, I started making another pizza, "I actually was wondering about something... someone in that parenting class told me to ask about this but... about where the baby is going to be born..."

I had no idea how to go about these baby questions. >_______________<

I blinked. "Umm... I'm not sure. I think the hospital... I don't want your whole family hovering around and staring at... my parts... I'm just saying..."

"They wouldn't... none of us were born at home anyway so I guess it's normal to want to do it that way... Oh, except Zack, pretty sure he was born at home from what he said."

Okay I'd just given away that I'd talked about this with Zack, we were best friends so we talked about a lot of things. ._.

I pushed my legs together as an involuntary reaction. "I don't want anyone staring at my parts... you're the only person to see them since I got out of diapers..."

I nodded, "Yeah, no one will except all the doctors and nurses in the maternity ward and people we don't know..." I started to pale, "I-Is the doctor a girl...? I'd feel a lot better..."

Okay so I was feeling like a wimp suddenly.

Me eye's widened. "Oh my duck. I hope so. Ick!!! What is it isn't?! I squealed, burying my face in his chest. "Then there'd be a male doctor staring at my parts!! Ian!!!"

"Shhh... it's okay." I frowned considerably, it seemed there was no way around this... either my whole family would be staring, which I pretty much doubted, or the doctors and nurses would be staring.

And unassisted was out of the question. >|

"If Mom did it, it wouldn't be so bad..." I said softly. "Maybe at home would be better... and we could just lock the door..."

"Yeah, and I'd be holding your hand the whole time. And think like this, you won't have IV's and monitors all over the place! Oh and the pregnancy has been healthy, there aren't any risks either..." This was such a huge decision for us... I hadn't really realized it until later though.

I nodded, "Agreed!" With that decision made we took Mom aside to talk about it as well, at first she looked a little bit nervous but then she smiled.

"If that's what you want! But I'm not certified to do that... I have a friend who is though."

I stared. "Um... have I met her...?" I gulped nervously. I didn't want people I didn't know to be looking at me like that! >.<

"Maybe... I don't think you were here when I had her over for movies and soda..."

What? I gaped, when did mom ever have anyone over for movies and soda?! 8O Wow, a secret life I never knew about! O3O

"Her name is Karrie! If you want to we have just enough time to meet her and you can get to know her some... if not then I can try to do what you two want me to but even though I've had six healthy children..." She paused, I wondered if she was thinking of Amanda, "I'm not sure I'll be okay enough to deliver my grandchild..." She raised her hands a little, shaky. "I just wouldn't want anything to go wrong."
