"You're welcome, Katie." I kissed her and then smiled as I felt a bit of warmth come over me. I thanked God right then for my family, for my rescuers and for my mother... especially for my mother. <3

She just kept smiling at me and I raised my brows wondering what it was that she wanted but soon it became very apparent. I leaned down and pecked her gently on the lips. "There, a kiss for my beautiful lady."

"Thank you." I said in return instead of saying your welcome. A kiss was something shared as well as given, it had to be given from each side to be enjoyed completely. Four lips must touch to truly make a kiss.

"Can I have a gift hint?" I asked.

"Well... okay." I kissed her again and after we finished eating I paid the bill and decided to skip desert since I already had a cupcake before this.

I stepped in front of him and pulled my scarf off. "Tie this over your eyes so you can't see!" I said sweetly. "Please?"

I nodded and tied it just the way she asked me to. Soon it was dark and I couldn't see where I was going and I was pretty sure we were the only ones home.

"Okay... guide me?" I started to walk around helplessly.

I laughed and grabbed his hand, pulling him gently toward the kitchen. When we arrived, I had him take a seat and I set his present on the table in front of him. "Okay, now you can open your eyes!"

I took off the scarf and gaped, it was a saxophone case and it was amazing. It was a collage of all the pictures we'd had snapped over the past three years of dating.

"Katie..." I chuckled and wrapped my arms around her, rocking her back and forth gently, "this is wonderful, thank you." I kissed her again.

"Of course not, it's amazing and it just expresses how much I care about you." I continued to rock her back and forth. I wanted to get on a knee right there and give back but I hadn't even gotten her a ring yet.

Yet. But it was still too soon, I wasn't even done with school yet.

I laughed. "Look on the other side!" I turned it around and engraved on that side in gold letters was the name 'KATIE.' "You said you'd named it Katie... so I found it only fitting!" I laughed.

I laughed, "It is fitting isn't it?" I replied quickly as I ran my hand over the engraving, "Kat..." I took her hands gently and got on my knee, "Will you promise... to be with me forever? No matter how long it may take me to actually ask you to marry me?"

I grinned and leaned down, wrapping my arms around his neck and sinking to the floor with him. "Zack, I promise. I'll never leave your side." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

I caressed her cheek as I began to kiss her. She was the love of my life, my other half and the piece that was missing from my puzzle.

She filled in a space that felt empty for ages and I would never, ever, let her go.

I hugged Ian tight. "What are we going to tell our parents...? And... what about my school? The girls will hate me even more now! Especially since a ton of them like you!" I was about to start crying for the fourth or so time.

I was kind of numb. Earlier that morning she'd called me and I'd rambled on about useless things not realizing that she was really upset. When she blurted that she was pregnant... I felt terrible for not listening closer.

I'll still be in school when this baby comes... I thought to myself. "P-Please don't leave me." I said softly, the tears coming again. "I don't want to do this alone. I don't want to be another single teenage mother!!" I didn't want him to leave me not now, not ever.

It never fails. A girl gets pregnant, the guy panics and leaves her high and dry.

Please, God. Please don't let that happen to me!

I gaped for a moment and then pushed her way, hands on her shoulders, "Andy, never EVER think like that again, do you hear me? We're going to get through this together and I mean TOGETHER." I kissed her passionately and then got on my knees, "This baby is as much mine as it is yours. I'm not going to drop my responsibility as a parents."

I sobbed, trying to nod my understanding but I just didn't have the strength anymore. "O-O-O-" I sobbed a couple more times while trying to speak. "Kay."

But this guy... he never ceased to amaze me. If one guy was one was, he was totally opposite. "I hope your parents don't hate me..." I sobbed. "I really like them a lot and I don't want them to hate me because they're always so nice to me..."
