I stirred and stirred and stirred! Mommy says I'm a good stirrer! "I'm a good stirrer, Mommy!" I smiled big! "And Ian is too!! Is this red Mommy? It looks pink!"

"You both are really good stirrers!" I smiled and then looked into the bowl, "It is pink... oh..." I sighed a little and added a little more food coloring, I wasn't sure that it would help at all really.

This was definitely pink. Agh... I should have known better. T-T

"Yeah, it's pink. White and red... makes pink."

I looked again and she was right, it was, "Perfect! Thank you sweetie." I kissed the top of her head and then looked to where Ian was staring at Katie's bowl, he was observing yet again.

What goes through your mind? I kept watching him and the more I did the more I wanted to get into his world and see what he was thinking.

That went for Katie too. I wanted to know what they were thinking or what went through their little minds. I loved them so much! <3

A few minutes later it was time to pull out the cake.

"Close your eyes!" I said to Katie and Ian.

"Okay!" I came around and set the cake behind them, careful not to burn myself or bump my stomach against the hot cake pan... I was known for burning myself like that. >.>

"Okay... open!"

I opened mine and Ian's eyes and I gasped! "Woah!!!! Mommy that looks yummeh!!!"

Ian was drooling and I had to push him away from the cake just a little bit. "Yup, I told you it would cook if you didn't look at it!" I got a glass plate down and laid it on the table before turning the cake pan upside down. It came out easily looking smooth and done!

"After it cools off a little, let's have some lunch and then we'll finish up decorating the cake." I went ahead and made them lunch and after that I broke down and gave them markers and a piece of paper.

"Let's draw a picture for Daddy, okay?" I smiled.

Ian picked up a green marker, "Okay!"

I got pink, but then I had to ask Mommy a very important question! "Mommy, what's Daddy's favuhate coluh?"

"It's green." I replied, "Just like daddy's wheelchair!"

Ian smiled just then, "Okay, I'll use orange and Katie can use the green!" He handed her the marker with a big smile on his face.

"Tank oo!!" I hugged my big brother tight and kissed his cheek! "I love you Ian!"

Ian smiled, "I love youu too!"

They both began to draw and I watched them quietly until Ian asked how to spell a few words for their picture. I told him how and guided his hand around so he could write it on the page.

He was sitting on his knees and bent over the paper a little with his tongue kinda sticking out. SO CUTE! <3

We still had a couple of hours until Kyle would come home from work.

"This is a beautiful picture, you two!" I said, praising them for what they did. I had no idea what kind of trouble those markers would get me into though. >.>

Ian gave me a big smile and then finished drawing.

"Okay, let's all take a nap before Daddy comes home, we'll get up and start dinner after a while!" We'd already finished decorating the cake when I suggested this. I think I was more tired than they were.

Mommy is such a deep sleeper, so she can't comment on our pictures. Neither of us were very tired so we wanted to draw some more.

"Oohh, cool!" I called. I moved over to where she was and then climbed on the couch, "Mommy likes butterfires!" I said, "Let's draw that!" But before that I had to draw a kitty face!

"I drew daddy too!" I said, this was more fun than drawing on paper, I thought Mommy would like to have our pictures with her where ever she goes too! I went down to her other foot and started to draw a flower there too.

"There... pwetty!" I came back over to stand near Katie and draw some more. We didn't really see the time pass either and then we heard the front door open. 8O

Oh. My. Gosh.

"Daddy!!!!" Katie yelled. I mean, YELLED. "HAPPY BIRFIEDAY!"

I stared at them and drove in closer. Then... then I snorted when I saw what they'd drawn all over Rhema's belly. Then I burst into laughter.... and I couldn't stop laughing either!

"Do you like our pictures Daddy?"

"I-I love them..." XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I woke up to Kyle laughing and sighed a little bit, I hadn't meant to sleep for so long... I'd wanted to get up earlier and then make some dinner but oh well, we'd end up ordering a pizza a this rate.

"What's so funny?"

"Daddy likes our pictures!" Ian exclaimed.

I sat up and got a eyeful of colors, doodles and all kinds of little drawings. Flowers, butterflies... Kyle? ._. That had to be Kyle. I sighed and tried to find it funny but I wasn't so sure.

"Very pretty!" I said, but was that encouraging them to draw all over people? >.> How do I punish such art?

"Thank you!" Ian took a bow. "Oooh, and your feet!"

I couldn't see the bottoms of my feet, I was seven months pregnant and it was kind of hard to get to my feet. I'd have to look in the full view mirror later...
