My eyes nearly popped out of my head, "No! Don't do that, it would make me upset because... you'll do so well at what you're doing." I sunk into my chair, "It's not that..."

I knew right then that I had to tell him so I stood up and with big tears rolling down my cheeks I stood straight, tall, for my height anyway and pulled up my shirt some, "I'm pregnant!" I said loudly, "I'm pregnant and that's why I couldn't button my jeans or fit into my favorite shirts and that's why I was throwing up all day and getting really bad heart burn and sleeping till late!"

"We're going to have a baby and I'm terrified and I don't know what to do or how to react or anything like that, but I'm happy, I love our baby!" I was bawling and smiling and shaking like a leaf. "I'm really... pregnant." I dropped my shirt and then fell to my knees, hands covering my face, scrambling to wipe away the waterfall of tears I had.

I stared at her, then looked at her belly. "You're... pregnant?" I gulped. "H-How long have you known?" I placed a shaky hand on the crying girl's belly. I was going to be the father?

I looked up at him wondering how he was feeling inside about it, I couldn't really read his expression.

"About a week." I said, "I wasn't sure how to tell you... we're struggling right now and I just... was scared."

"Oh..." I looked up and smiled warmly to her. "We better start trying to furnish a baby room I guess. This little critter is here to stay."

I nodded slowly, "You're not mad?" I asked shakily, I should have known him better but I was really still not sure how we were going to do this.

I laughed softly and crumbled into his arms, so glad that this was over with for the moment. I was finally free of that sort of stress for a little while. I sighed with relief and tilted my head to kiss his neck a little.

I pulled her close to me and showered her in kisses. "I love you. Please don't ever expect me to be mad over something like this again."

So it was time to come up with a new routine. I wasn't leaving school but work was a bit harder especially because I didn't want to hurt the baby, I was new to all of this and kind of a paranoid mother-to-be. I wouldn't even ride my bike to school anymore and resorted to just walking. I knew that would be out of the question eventually but... eh!

"But it's only a block away..." I was slowly beginning to realize that Kyle was going to get protective... at least I thought he was being protective or maybe he was just being logical.

I took out some extra change to ride the bus though. I was trying to save money. >.<

I came over and hugged him, "Are you going to be a protective hubby?" I asked with a grin, "You're just so cute, Kyle!" I hugged him tightly.

I grinned and pulled her into my lap. "What are you talking about? I've always been protective... you just haven't been here to see my protective side until now..." I kissed her passionately on the lips.

"No, no I will! I'm glad you told me to, I wasn't sure if I should or not at first and just walked..." I hadn't gotten very big yet, not really anyway. It was barely even noticeable so it was still easy to walk around.

"No, we'll definitely make this work. Just take the bus everyday, okay?" I kissed her. "It's safer and makes me feel tons better so I don't have to follow you everywhere."

I was laughing softly because I didn't know he followed me. I nodded in agreement and that's when I began to keep change out for the bus each day.

Except weekends.

"I got a bonus today, so I'm going to take you out to dinner tonight!" I exclaimed, bursting through the door after work. "Get dressed up beautiful, my love!!"

I stared at him in shock, I was in nothing but a towel and my hair was in a towel as well. I could only imagine what could possibly be going through his mind.

Not only that but I was snacking on cereal - right out of the box.

"OKAY!" I said with a mouth full of Lucky Charms. I put the box away and speed walked into our bed room. I refused to run. >|

So he didn't seem to notice how odd I looked standing there in a towel... >.< oh well! I got dressed into something comfortable, at least something I thought looked pretty. I put on a dress and some flats and then pulled my hair back in a braid. After putting in my favorite emerald earrings I almost ran out to him but then I stopped short and took a breath.

"No running..." I muttered. I then walked towards him and smiled, "I'm ready!"
