Re: Fantastic Generation
"Excuse me!" Rayde called out to the boy chopping would, "Can I ask you a question?" Yeah... just walk up behind a random kid and shout at them while they hold an axe? Sounds like a great idea. Thankfully this kid didn't appear to be easily startled.
Re: Fantastic Generation
"Huh?" Zephyr turn and rested the butt of the axe on his shoulder and turned to look at the strange man. "Sure... I guess you can." He gulped slowly. Had someone found out? Would he get in trouble now? Or even that girl? Would she?
Re: Fantastic Generation
Rayde was right on, this boy was the one... he could just see it. "I'm Elasia's father... the girl who healed you today. No, you aren't in trouble! We've dealt with... my son and his friend so... you're fine. I just wanted to make sure Elasia healed you correctly."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"I-I assume she did." Zephyr said, gulping a bit. "But I don't know. I ain't no doctor sir." He set the axe down and scratched the back of his head. "I-Is she in trouble? She said she would be if I told anybody..."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"No, she's not in trouble... we were able to help her but she can't be doing that again until she's a strong enough wizard... I just wanted to be sure that you were okay. It looks like she did a good job!" Rayde grinned, "She wanted to come see you but we made her go eat dinner... she passed out earlier..." He was being talkative again. "I'll bring her to see you later."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"Oh... Well, don't that mean she shouldn't be walking a whole lot? Is it okay if I v-visit her instead? If you don't want that, I understand sir!" Zephyr tried sounding smart, but it wasn't working. He was a fairly intelligent kid, he just didn't always use correct grammar. He never really had a use for it... Much like reading and writing. There wasn't a use for it in farm work.
Re: Fantastic Generation
Rayde was impressed by this boy already, "If you insist, you can come visit her now and we'd be glad to have you over for dinner! In fact, I know two people who owe you an apology that might be repeated about... let's not count how many times. Follow me?"
Re: Fantastic Generation
Zephyr nodded slowly and quickly tried to brush off the pieces of wood and such from his arms and clothes. He was dirty and sweaty... Not at all suited for dinner with people he'd never met before. "Sh-Shouldn't I wash up first, sir? I don't reckon I look like any kind of nice right now..."
He looked himself over with a frown. He didn't approve of himself at all.

Re: Fantastic Generation
"Only if you feel like you need to!" Rayde grinned, "I can wait right here for you."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"I-I won't be more than a few minutes, sir! I-I'll be right back!" He almost ran to the house, and actually got halfway there before remembering he left the axe out. "S-Sorry! I'll hurry!" He hung the axe on the two nails meant to hold it and the. He ran back to the little wooden house to clean up. He was hurrying as fast as he could, and he even jumped in the tub while the water was cold, just to scrub off really quick.
Re: Fantastic Generation
Rayde chuckled to himself and telepathically told Sera that someone would be joining them for dinner and to keep it nice and warm, feed it lukewarm to the boys who were in trouble... or just cold. Then he changed his mind suddenly and said to just give them bread and water as they were prisoners and deserved that much. >_>;
Re: Fantastic Generation
Zephyr came running out of the little house minutes later... He really didn't look much better than before though... He obviously belonged to a really poor family... And had tried very hard to look acceptable. He'd run his fingers through his short, messy hair to try and tame it, and had put on a button-up shirt that had a few stains on it, along with some denim pants with more than a few patches. "I-I forgot to tell you my name s-sir! I-I'm Zephyr..."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"I'm Rayde! It's nice to meet you, now let's get back! My wife is keeping the dinner warm for you and if you make it in time, Elasia should still be eating!" He teleported them right outside of the dining room. "Sera hates it when I just appear randomly in the dining room."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"Wh-What?" Zephyr's eyes were wide with awe... And probably shock as well. He gulped and glanced around at what looked to be the inside of a castle or something. Zephyr suddenly felt very out of place, but so far the man seemed pretty nice. "I th-thought we were gonna walk..." He replied meekly, his voice even softer than it had been.
Re: Fantastic Generation
"You can't expect to eat and meet Elasia if we walked here! It would take far too long, we're taking long enough as it is talking so let's go eat!" He pushed the doors open and laughed, "HELLO LADIES!"
"DAD!" Elasia cried, "You found the broken boy!"
"DAD!" Elasia cried, "You found the broken boy!"
Re: Fantastic Generation
Broken? Zephyr waved slowy, amazed at the amount of people... But the other two boys were missing. There was the girl from earlier, a black-haired woman who looked like the stolen princess from stories, and then a really tall man with long, dark brown hair pulled into a ponytail, and beside him was another woman who was much shorter than the man, and she was really pretty... And very pregnant. His cheeks heated up in a bright red flush when the girl smiled and waved to him. He stepped forward cautiously, unsure as to how he should act. He didn't really know any of these people at all. He sat down on a chair near the girl who saved him after he was told to.
"So, you must be Zephyr!" The woman with black hair sniled gently to him. "My name is Sera! This is Elasia, and tha's Kyrn, and Claire! We're all very excited to have you! We don't usually get visitors!"
"I-It's nice to m-meet you." Zephyr's soft, yet deep voice didn't really seem to fit him... Though he had just been taken from a simple life, to a castle full of people he didn't know. Still, he smiled kindly and politely, despite being completely out of place.

Re: Fantastic Generation
Elasia bounced happily, still moving a little lethargically from her experience, "So it worked, you look really good! Sorry my brother and and that other kid that belongs to them, were so mean... if it weren't for me that wouldn't have happened." She knew the trap was meant for her and she pouted a little.
Rayde pushed a plate of food towards Zephyr and sat down next to Sera.

Re: Fantastic Generation
The food looked and smelled so good. "Th-That ain't no big deal... Thank you for saving me though. I really owe ya..." He felt a little awkward when he realized Kyrn was staring at him. "A-Are you alright though? M-Mr Rayde said you got hurt from helping me. "I'm sorry about that, I really shoulda been w-watchin' my step."
Re: Fantastic Generation
"I'm fine! I'm just replenishing blood right now that I lost... and my dad healed me earlier! My dad is Rayde and that guy is like my uncle!" She pointed to Kyrn, "Sera is my mom, she loves everyone!"
Rayde flicked a pea at Kyrn.
Rayde flicked a pea at Kyrn.
Re: Fantastic Generation
"O-Oh!" Zephyr looked up and managed to catch it when Kyrn got hit in the face with the pea and jumped. He frowned and tossed a bread slice back at Rayde.
Zephyr looked away, lest food be launched at him as well. "Well, I-I'm glad you're doing well." He smiled and tried to eat slowly and with proper manners. He looked up again to see Sera smiling warmly to him.
"So, where do you go to study school, Zephyr?" She asked in her smooth, sweet motherly voice.
"A-Ah... I don't go to school. Had to get out early to help my ma when my dad died. There ain't... i-isn't need for that anyway as a farmer. I don't do nu- anythin' special anyhow." He quickly went back to eating after that, purposefully ignoring a small smile Kyrn was showing as the boy tried hard to correct his grammar for them.

Re: Fantastic Generation
"Daddy can teach you how to do magic! Or I could!" Elasia offered.
"Ahem... Elasia... not now. It takes a lot to teach a human magic..." Rayde said and then was hit in the face AGAIN with something else. "YOU FOOL! How dare you throw a chicken leg at me!" He tossed a bowl of soup but Kyrn ducked and the bowl landed right on Claire's head.
"Crap....."

Re: Fantastic Generation
Zephyr wasn't certain how to respond to anything. "I-I'm nothin' special... I don't I could ever do magic." He gulped a bit and jumped in his seat when Rayde yelled. Then everything got really quite when the pregnant lady got hit with the soup and bowl.
Sera gasped and pushed Rayde out of his seat. "Look what you did! Aw, Claire! Let's get you cleaned up! Stupid boys!"

Re: Fantastic Generation
They were about to walk by to go to the washroom so Claire could get cleaned up, but not before she launched a plate of dessert into Rayde's face.
"Wow, tonight was pretty uneventful!" Elasia exclaimed, "That's unusual!"

Re: Fantastic Generation
"U-Uneventful, huh?" Zephyr wasn't so sure about that. If she found that uneventful, then she'd definitely find him boring. He smiled a little though. "The food was nice..." Just then, he was being pushed from behind further down the corridor he and Elasia were walking down. "Huh?" He loomed up to see it was Rayde who was pushing him, and Kyrn was walking alongside.
"We have some boys who need to apologize to you."
"Huh? O-Oh no! That's okay! Don't worry about it! They ain't gotta apologize! I shoulda been watching where I was going anyway!" Zephyr stammered.

Re: Fantastic Generation
"But they do! If they don't apologize directly to you, the chances that they will become evil wizards are extremely high!" Elasia explained, "We're trying to make sure they don't turn evil!"
Rayde still had pie on his face.
