Sera hugged Elasia and kissed her cheek. "Kyrn, y-you take her. I will go with Claire to talk with the boys."

"It will have to be telepathically. I want this to be a lesson to them." Kyrn frowned and took Elasia into his arms. "Let's go to her room, we can repair the damage there."

Claire nodded and followed Sera, who seemed very reluctant to let go of Elasia. They had to go talk to the boys and Claire hadn't been using her telepathy that much, she'd really have to be careful.

Rayde nodded, "Okay, can you feel her pulse?"

Kyrn nodded. "It's very weak." In an instant, they were in Elasia's room and they laid her on the bed. "Come on, little princess. Stay awake for me... Rayde, tell me what you need me to do!"

Sera and Claire arrived in the room where Rylen and Jyrdon were. "Rylen! What happened?! Your father wouldn't tell us anything!"

Rylen gulped and went to speak, but paused and closed his eyes. It hurt to use telepathy, but it didn't hurt more than a bruise.

"We set a trap... a prank for someone we didn't want to follow us, but we got the wrong person."

"She needs some energy, I'll help you and that will bring some of her pulse back! After that we need to find out the extent of the damage in there, whatever she healed is probably hurting her internally!"

"WHAT?!" Claire screamed. All the words from Claire's mind coming next were shouts in her native tongue, neither of them could understand what on earth was happening or what she was saying.

They didn't want to know.

Sera rubbed at her temples, absolutely fuming. "Why do our sons have to be such idiots?! I wasn't this stupid as a child!"

Sera frowned angrily at the boys who looked more than a little remorseful. "You best be glad your fathers heard of this first, or your punishment would have been much worse! Who were you originally planning to impale?!"

"W-We weren't planning on impaling anybody! There was a sharp root down there that we didn't know was there!"

Claire finally calmed down enough to talk normal again, "Who, don't hide anything!"

Jyrdon was really quiet and he gulped loud enough that they could hear and Claire stared him down with the 'I'll tell your father' glare.

"WHAT?!"

"W-We weren't planning on impaling her, and the pit wasn't even that deep! She was just gonna fall in it and then fly out! And... there wasn't a village too nearby, so we didn't expect other people!" Rylen stammered, his eyes were wide.

"Who was this boy?!" Sera screamed aloud. She was livid.

"I-I don't know! He was dirty though, like a farmer's kid! Mom, don't kill us! Please!"

Claire was near to tears, "How could you do something like this?!" They were talking out loud but the boys were still talking telepathically. "How?! You could have killed that boy, you could have killed Elasia!!" She turned away from them and put her face in her hands. "I don't understand, I thought I was raising you better, Jyrdon!"
Not only was Claire pregnant but she was extremely emotional... and putting on the best guilt trip she could - and it was very real.

"Mom... I'm sorry! Please don't cry like that... mom...?"

"Look what you two did! I am so disappointed." Sera frowned sadly and shook her head slowly, giving Claire a gentle hug. "I hope you boys learn from this, and never do something so stupid again!" Sera was pulling out the tears too. "Oh Claire, come on. Let's go eat and not dwell on how our sons have forsaken us."

"Mom! Mom, no!! We didn't mean any harm by it! M-Mom? Moooom!"

"Yes... they can even go to bed without dinner." Claire said in her sobbing voice, they closed the door behind them and walked back towards the dining room.

"MOOOM NOOO!!! Jyrdon cried, he was miserable as he leaned against Rylen, sobbing loudly.

"MOM THINKS I HATE HER! MOOOOM! I DON'T HATE YOU! MOOOOM!" Rylen hugged Jyrdon and sobbed with him. Their stupid mistake would not be repeated again.

When the door was shut and Claire and Sera had walked quite a ways from the boys, Sera began to giggle and snicker a bit. "That was pretty mean, but maybe now they will get the message... and for at least a week, the chores will be done without our asking. You, my lady Claire, are a wonderful actress."

"Essence of tears." Claire said with a smirk, "It works every time on Kyrn... why not use it on the boys? Jyrdon definitely bought it..." She could hear less and less of their wails as they walked on. "Are you worried for Elasia?"

"Part of me is... but I know Kyrn and Rayde can take good care of her. They are both very skilled wizards, so I don't have any doubts! I just... have that motherly concern. But... I know she'll be alright. The question is... did she heal that young boy properly?" Sera frowned some. She really wondered if the boy had healed properly.

Claire smiled, "We can ask her when we see her ne-" She stopped when Kyrn and Rayde were coming around the corner. Rayde was holding Elasia in his arms and she seemed perkier but still looked a little under the weather.

"Elasia!!" Sera exclaimed and ran to them both, giving Elasia a kiss on her forehead. "How are you feeling, Love? Rayde, is she better? Is she doing better now?"

Kyrn took Claire in his arms, as he always did when he was happy, and he kissed her lovingly. "Elasia will be just fine, though she has a bit of healing left to do. We can heal the tissue, but she gave away quite a bit of blood. She'll probably feel funny until she gets it back."

Elasia smiled, "I feel better now... I want to go see that boy now... he got up and left and he looked okay... he did thank me." She said, "But I want to go see if he's doing better anyway..."

"She looks great though, you two did a good job." Claire returned Kyrn's hug.

"Mmm... " Sera looked to Rayde. "Is it okay for her to go, or should she lay down? I know nothing of these things."

Kyrn smiled some. "All I did was supply the energy. Rayde did most of the work... but thank you, Beautiful. What did you do to the boys, by the way? We could hear their screams in our minds all the way in Elasia's room."

"It's better that she rests, but I can go find the boy for her! What did he look like, sweetie?"

Elasia smiled, "He was kinda tall... and he had nice hair!" She added, "It was like... white and yellow! His eyes were really pretty too!"

"The boys? Oh... we just talked to them, found out more of the story and they were so moved by our motivational speeches that they cried." Claire explained.

"White and yellow? You mean blond, Love?" Sera smiled lovingly to her sweet daughter, and took her from Rayde. "So... tall, blond hair, and pretty eyes. You think you can find him, Rayde?" Sera laughed a bit. The description was extremely vague.

"Oh? Well, they were most definitely moved as they cried about you hating them..." Kyrn grinned, obviously amused.

"OH! Blond, yes! And he will have a little bit of red on him, because he was bleeding some... but that's just cause I didn't clean him up after he healed!" Elasia said cheerfully.

"I can find him easily, just delved into her memories of what he looked like!"

"Yes... they cry so much... I don't regret a thing."

"Ah!" Sera smiled happily. "Well then... you go find that boy, and I will... feed the boys I suppose. They do need food."

Kyrn smiled. "I'll bring their food to them. They still assume you are upset, yes?"

"Oh! True! Very true..."

"I'm going to go eat then because... I have to eat or the baby will be upset." Claire kissed Kyrn and managed to waddle gracefully back to the dining room.

"I'm hungry too..." Elasia escaped Sera's grasp and walked after Claire. She was curious about the boy though... it was a hard decision, food or... no. She knew what she had to do. She'd just follow him!

That was until Sera stopped her.

Sera frowned and crossed her arms, shaking her head slowly. "No, you are going to go eat! You have time to eat while your father searches for the boy!" Sera turned Elasia around to face Claire's back. "I am hungry as well, and you can finish your soup!"

Elasia didn't usually get in trouble, not because she was trying at least. She obeyed Sera and went to the kitchen to eat her food while her father searched for the boy she saved.

She just knew in her heart that there was something really special about him. >w<

Zephyr dropped his axe to pick up the leater canteen beside him. He'd been chopping up wood to help calm his nerves. He'd just been impaled by a tree root... Then completely healed by some girl he'd never seen before. Then he was told not to tell a soul about it at all? He sighed shakily and took a gulp of water from his canteen. How was he supposed to not say anything at all? He shook his head and trie to push the whole situation out of his mind as he picked up his axe again.
