"She kicks that often? Really?" I poked where she was kicking to almost play with her. "It's kind of cute... the kicking..." I said with a laugh.

"This whole... experience I guess." I said softly. I looked up at her and smiled. "I think you and your little baby have turned me soft... not fair." I laughed.

"Sorry." I smiled awkwardly, "I used to be a lot different before this too, just living and enjoying life the way it was. But now I can't imagine it any other way." I said.

"Any other way but... how?" I asked. She was so sweet. So kind. She said she was falling for me, which meant she cared for me... and all I wanted to do was protect her and make her mine for forever... even if it meant taking in that baby.

I kissed her back. I was becoming addicted to her kisses already. "If that's what you really want..." I said softly. "Then I'll hold you close... it that's what you want." I wasn't even thinking before speaking anymore.

"Maybe it'll help me sleep tonight." I offered with a soft grin, "If not you'll know because I get up to eat in the early hours... sometimes." It was hard to believe, I was head over heels for my killer, or the one who had planned on killing me.

I eyed her suspiciously. "You'd really do that...?" I frowned sadly. "But I've only had one cookie..." I turned and stole the kiss for my cheek by putting my lips to hers. Heheheeh. >|

"Nah... I'd probably have a couple and have some tea or something. Don't plan on me being in bed when you wake up though, I don't sleep after I get woken up." I added to that kiss, we were suddenly very lovey dovey, but I didn't mind.

I took a moment to look at the bear and the chocolates and smiled, "This is cute... and so soft." I pointed out, "I'm sorry you thought you had to do this... I didn't mean to get so upset."

"No, I like them... thank you." I gave him another kiss. We were a lot more like a couple after that than a target and an assassin. At some point I even began to wish that this baby were his and not the king's. T^T

The baby was kicking all night, every night and I finally realized just how little sleep she actually got... because I wasn't getting any anymore either. But I felt bad if I went back to sleep after she got up.

I got up one morning and shuffled into the kitchen. I heard her up and somehow slept through her getting out of the bed. I was starving though. I wanted food.

I had made myself something to eat and ended up falling asleep with the side of my face in it. I was developing dark circles under my eyes and then the baby would kick and I'd shoot awake less then a few seconds and crash again. Only in the breakfast case I was asleep at the table. I was going to eat and then make Jethro breakfast but that was out of the question.

So I was snoozing while I had the chance... only it was involuntary and I literally collapsed into it.

I tried not to laugh and just... scooted by her. She needed to sleep when she could get it. I picked up some eggs out of the cold box and began cooking my breakfast. I felt bad for her. She wasn't getting any sleep at all...

It wasn't until I heard my glass mug clatter when I knocked it over, moving blindly because I was asleep, that I woke up. Tea, warm tea no less, was spilling on the floor and on my dress. I shot up and took a couple of short breaths in shock.

"J-Jethro... I'm sorry, I'll make it!" I stood up quickly and regretted it when I experienced vertigo, which was normal. I was a wreck, I wanted to sleep. T^T "Want some bacon too? We have bacon..." I went to the cold box, the lower half of my dress soaked in hot tea and the floor wet as well, tea was just dripping off the side and my breakfast was on my face. I didn't even want to know what my hair looked like.

By that time, I was pouring the eggs on my plate. I looked back at her and laughed some. I grabbed a towel nearby and began wiping her face off. "Don't worry about it. I was letting you sleep because you looked exhausted." I kissed her cheek and laughed. "You taste like bacon."

I smiled at him and sighed tiredly, "You were just getting a kick out of watching me sleeping in my food." I wasn't even hungry anymore so I moved to pick up the mug off the floor. "I hope I can get some sleep before she comes, then I won't sleep ever again." I said sadly. "And we have so much traveling to plan..."

First he was going to be my killer, then he was my friend and then he was my knight in shining armor. "You are definitely my hero, Jethro." I kissed him and then stood up straight, willing myself not to cry from being sore. "I'm going to take a bath I suppose..."

I fell asleep there too. My child truly was nocturnal. >_> I may as well have been following the trend too. I got more done in the middle of the night than during the day. And sometimes I was so bored that I would mend all of Jethro's clothes just for the fun of it.

I always wanted too peek in on her while she was bathing, but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to do... and she'd probably murder me in my sleep.

But I really wanted to see her boobs. They always looked so.... prefect in her dresses. I wanted to see them... but I think I was going to be forced to wait. >.>

So I just ate my eggs in silence. T^T
