I gasped. "No way. No way!!! S-So... we were scared for nothing?! No way! W-We were already betrothed..." I sighed and shook my head, stunned. "So this whole time... we had nothing to fear?"

"Nothing at all! I could have been kissing you and hugging you and kissing you this WHOLE time!" I flopped back on the grass, my legs were still on the blanket. "WHY."

I was still in shock from the whole thing. "WHY DIDN'T WE KNOW ABOUT THIS?!" I exclaimed. "Did your Dad know?!"

"I have a feeling he didn't! When I told him I was going to ask your parents the other night he said that I shouldn't do it because I was already getting out of enough trouble just taking you to town. He said I could get in more trouble." I chuckled, "He'll be shocked."

My eyes and mouth got really wide. "And we knew nothing about any of this..." I sighed. "I never had to hide my feelings for a year! Oh my duck!" D|

"And my mother knew... MY MOTHER. And she died just days before you were born, Lora! If she knew you were a girl she would have been ecstatic!" I was pretty excited though.

I grinned. "So this was planned before I was alive? That feels really weird..." I said softly and stared at my rings. I hadn't taken the wedding band off yet. "But, it also makes me so very happy!"

"Me too..." I began to kiss her.

Weeks later we had our wedding and made our marriage official. Just a couple months later I had my coronation and I was king while my beautiful wife was being crowned queen.

We would rule together. It didn't take long for me to realize that I was BORN for this. This was my calling and I absolutely loved it.

I was grinning from ear to ear. I glanced at my husband, my king, and giggled some when they set the crowns on our heads. I was practically brimming with excitement!

Father bowed and spoke on our behalf. "I am now honored to present to you King Zephyr, and his lovely Queen Lora." The people- Our people exploded in roaring cheers! They were happy!

I felt my face burning up at the realization that this was real! My heart raced and I watched everyone rejoicing and tossing flowers. I couldn't believe this was real!

I was married to Lora and one day we'd have a baby together and build our future, our kingdom! <3 THIS WAS AWESOME!

We stood and bowed to our people, then I jump up, hugging Zephyr in excitement! And the people loved it! Their cheers became even louder and I giggled. I loved my Zephyr, king or no.

We escaped the after party early on, sitting on our balcony and watching the fireworks together. I put a blanket over her shoulders and over mine and then pulled her close, "I never thought this would happen."

I rested my head against him and sighed in sheer happiness. "Me neither... but it came!" I said softly. "Bedtime isn't so lonely anymore either."

"I-I was! I just didn't expect you to know what I was thinking!" I gaped, oh wow, this was interesting! "Y-Yeah! I want babies, I really want to do that! I don't want to play chess, I don't even know how!"
