I smiled and kissed his cheek. "It really is beautiful. What should we do today?" I asked softly. "I want to... do something!"

"I'm not too sure... I'm stumped." I couldn't keep my eyes open suddenly, one of them felt heavier than the other and I blinked awkwardly, what the heck was this? I could barely see and my hands were shaking. "Is there anything you really want to do?"

I frowned. "Zephyr, what's wrong with you?" I asked worriedly. "You're acting funny..."

"I think I'm just not getting enough sleep, why? Do I look strange?" My sight was back and I felt semi normal again but something was definitely wrong with me, I wasn't sure what it was. It was something that happened every so often but it went undiagnosed. "Don't worry too much!" I grinned and caressed her cheek.

"I'll take you to do whatever you want to do." I really wasn't caring about getting in trouble, I hadn't seen her parents in a long time and it might not be so bad to let her have a bit of freedom... I guess.

"I guess we could try but they are... pretty fast." I got up and tossed the napkins I used into the waste bin next to the table. "Let's go." I smiled.

"If we can find one you will have a rabbit." I led her towards the garden gate and opened it quietly so we could go to the forest. We walked quietly for a bit, searching out big ears and fluffy tails.

I tried to keep quiet as we snuck around, trying to catch fluffy bunnies. I was getting a bunny! Yay! <3

I heard something and instinctively wrapped myself around Lora tightly, looking around with my hand on the hilt of my blade. "Shh..." I knew that noise was not a small animal.

What was going on? Zephyr never did this before. I held onto him tight, scared because I couldn't read the situation. What was going on? Fluffy bunnies aren't dangerous!

Within a split second I was surprised by something hitting the side of my face rather harshly, I shouted in shock and toppled over with Lora still in my arms. Four men walked towards us, smiling menacingly. My face was completely numb and I seethed, why did I risk her like this?!

"Finally, I knew they couldn't keep you locked in there forever. Look's like this idiot did us a favor."

How could I block her and fight them at the same time?

"Oy Missy, you know where that treasure is don't you? If you lead us to it we'll let you go, we won't kill ya."

Treasure? I was growing more agitated.

I was trying not to scream. My face was right by Zephyr's ears and it would have hurt. "W-What treasure?" I asked shakily, holding onto to Zephyr for dear life. "I don't know what you're talking about!!"

We were pulled off the ground and our wrists were tied together, at least then I'd be close to her but I failed... I knew I was in trouble if we got out of this alive.

Which we would. I couldn't let her die.

Why didn't they believe me?! I took Zephyr's hand which was tied to mine and squeezed it tightly. I had no idea what was going to happen to us! "I-If I scream, the castle guards will come for me and you'll be sorry!"

I wished she would but with those knives in their hands... they could easily give up on us and just slit our throats. I squeezed her hand reassuringly, "I'll get us out of this, I promise."

I sighed in defeat as they laughed at me for threatening such a thing.

"You don't even know how to take care o' yourself, little lady! What makes you think you could do anything to get out o' this?"

I bit my lip. Such mean people. Why are they so mean?!

I was about to blow up but my eye sight faded again and I stumbled over myself, falling to the ground and dragging poor Lora with me, landing with a thud. I tasted blood on the corner of my mouth.

"GET UP!" One of them shouted, pulling me up by my arm. They walked off and I tried to reach for Lora but I couldn't see.

I grabbed his hand quickly and held it tight. "Zephyr!!" I exclaimed, shaking from head to toe. "It's o-okay! I'll show them the way!!"

"S-Sorry." I whispered to her as we walked quietly, the men seemed pleased for the moment and I turned to talk to her quietly, "My eyes have been weird lately, I just blacked out..."
