I smiled, "Sure!" I chowed down some more and sighed, "Ahh... birthday cake. I love being fifteen so far, my metabolism is the best!"

"What's a 'meteburism'?" Lane asked as she was walking by.

"It's when you eat and don't get fat!" I grinned. "Ahh... I need a soda so bad right now."

"Oh! Get me one!" I grinned at him.

Amanda raised an eyebrow. "I didn't think birthday kids could order each other around..."

"Yeah!" Elijah cut in. "Because you're a birthday kid so you can order people around, but so is Ian! So when you try to order him around, he, being a birthday kid too, doesn't have to do what he's ordered to do unless it's from mom and dad."

I stared at him. "You think too much." Then I hugged him and looked uber sweet. "Get us sodas.... please?"

"Oh man, really? I explain all that and you make me go?!"

"Thank you!" I giggled.

"Birthday kids advantage... being a twin is amazing." I high fived Katie and then Amanda sighed as if this annoyed her a lot. We all were very close but sometimes, well, we were siblings!

Our birthdays were always really fun though.

Elijah returned to the room with our sodas, he knew our favorites. I popped mine open and took a sip before going back to eat cake.

I never really asked anyone for anything, so I normally got my way when I did ask. "I want to DO something this year. I don't want to just, sit in the house... and watch cake monster stuff his face."

"Ohhh! But what CAN we do? Do you think mom would let us ditch the siblings and go to the mall or something?"

"Hey!" Elijah frowned. "After I got you sodas?"

"Yes! Thank you! You're very sweet and I love you lots!" I patted his head with a grin.

"Mom has been moody lately, she's so... pregnant." I whispered, unfortunately she had ears all over the house because she would always say 'I HEARD THAT'.

And she did.

"I am not so pregnant, I'm not even five months along yet and you have a big mouth, young man!" She pulled my plate away, "No more cake, go out and do something."

"Aw, come on!"

"You and Katie. Go." She grinned. "Everyone else, CHORES." She clapped her hands.

"Aw!! But it's a birthday!!" Eli complained.

"Ah, but it's not your birthday! Therefore, it is a regular day to you!" I heard dad say.

I grinned and grabbed my twin's hand and began dragging him out of the room. "Let's gooo!"

"Bye all, it was nice knowing you!!" I shouted as we left the house. I couldn't help but laugh, there was always playful banter in our house, sarcasm, laughter, we rarely ever fought but there was an occasional spat... nothing serious though!

"To the mall, I didn't get you a gift so I'll buy one when I get there." I said as we walked down the sidewalk.

"Hey, hey! I got you something amazing, don't be so quick to think that I just forgot, Kat!" I nudged her a little and then put a hand to my mouth and coughed. After clearing my throat I apologized. "Ah, stupid cough..."

"Well, how could you forget? That'd be pretty sad because our birthday is on THE SAME DAY." I laughed. "I was just thinking that maybe... you procrastinated until now or something! Not literally forgetting!"

"Well... I didn't procrastinate, I can't tell you what I did because then it'd ruin the surprise." I roughed her hair a little bit as we turned into the mall square. It was huge and so close by too amazingly.

I giggled. "I love the mall! We always have fun when we come here!" I twirled around and grinned. "Birthdays are fun!"

"Oh yeah, we have one once a year just for the sake of hanging out!" I grinned, I didn't much care about the age part of it all as much as I cherished the time with my best friend.

"But we may have to split up for about... ten minutes so I can get your present."

"Alrighty." I hugged her back and then pulled out my phone, "I'll call you when I'm done, let's meet up in the food court!" And then I disappeared to the right of the mall where the gift I got her was.

I nodded with a grin and watched him go before disappearing off to where the pet store was! I liked watching the fish, actually!

So here I stand now, watching little goldfish and beta fish swim around their tanks in pure bliss.

So cute!

I was at the Christian book store looking at the chain I'd bought for Katie, it was a simple chain but it came with a cross that she could attach to it if she wanted to. I got her a bracelet as well and the heart charm on it had her name engraved onto the back.

"This is amazing." I grinned as a paid.

"Who's it for?" The cashier asked with a smile.

"My twin, it's our birthday today and she's my best friend."

One of the goldfish wiggled down to the deep sea diver and it seemed to kiss his cheek! I giggled and watched it happen again. Fish were my favorite creatures! I found them to be unbearably cute and quite fascinating!

After I finished I walked out of the store and pressed her speed dial, I was looking forward to giving her the gift, I had the guy give me a paper bag so she wouldn't know what store I got it from, it was going to be a surprise!

I jumped when my phone went off and fell backward on butt. I hated how badly it scared me all the time! I could be really jumpy. >.<

I answered it though and pulled myself to my feet with a groan. "H-Hello?" My butt hurt. >.<;;
