I looked over and smiled, "Yeah." I sounded a bit better but it was easy to tell that I wasn't doing anything on my own, mainly my breathing.

"I think I'll be fine." I reached out a hand and took it from him, tasting it and relishing the amazing flavor it had. "It's delicious, thank you."

"Yeah, I've not been really hungry lately either. I think its mostly because I've not felt well..." I sipped at it again and sighed happily, this was really nice.

"I can't wait to get back into school and start meeting you for lunch again."

I smiled. "Yup, but until then, we'll have to let this suffice." I ran my fingers through her beautiful hair. "Besides, technically, we're still having lunch, right? Li mean, this is my lunch break!"

"Oh thank you! That would be great!" I was looking forward to tomorrow, to spending more time with him even if it was for a short while before he had to go to school.

I sighed and as I sat there I prayed they'd find a donor. I wanted to be myself again.

I felt a warm blush come to my cheeks when he said that, I had never felt so loved in my entire life except for my parents... but this kind of love was so new and so amazing.

"Thank you, you being here is helping me get better faster." I grinned.

My eyebrows seemed to raise on their own. "Oh really? I can? You'd have to lay in my lap. That bed isn't very big." But I smirked. If she gave me the okay, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

"That's fine." I missed being in his arms and it had only been a couple days since being admitted to the hospital too. "So... when can I meet your parents?"

"When you can get out... or I can call them and ask them to come here." I said, moving to sit with her. "I lifted her a bit and wrapped my arms around, gently pulling her into my lap. "There, now make yourself comfortable."

I leaned against him like before and listened to his heart beat and the sound of his breathing. He sounded strong and I felt so weak and small, my breathing was shallow and barely even my own.

I grabbed his hand and closed my eyes. "I wish you could stay with me forever."

-A Few Months Later-

Barely into my senior year and I was searching for colleges. Kyle had already graduated and I went to watch him when that happened. It was so exciting but I wanted to cry even though I knew he wasn't going anywhere without me.

"I wish I knew what I wanted to major in..." I sighed sadly.

I always looked terrible, with oxygen tubes in my nose and a backpack to keep my tank in. They still hadn't found a donor and I was patiently waiting.

"You'll find something, Love." I said with a grin. "Trust me!" I rubbed her back comfortingly and drew her into a quick, loving hug. "And even if you don't ever have a major, that's fine! You can be the cutest housewife on the planet! I just want you with me. Together forever."

I smiled and then looked down at the pamphlets again, "I guess so..." the idea of being a housewife didn't bother me so much, I think being home alone did though.

I would miss him terribly.
