Re: And he doesn't even know...
Five months along and I looked practically like I did before I got pregnant except for looking kind of pregnant. ._. It didn't make a lot of sense to me. I stopped at the store on the way home from work to pick up some lollipops.
I wasn't sure how much Drew still needed them but I liked keeping them in the house anyway. I kept sniffling on the way home and it was getting dark by the time I got there.
It was quiet so I wasn't sure if Drew was even there yet.

Home. I was finally home. They brought me in early to begin my training, but in about two days, I'd be working the very late shifts.

I filled up the jar and grinned, "Perfect!" Then I got started on dinner, I was so sleepy though. -_- I wanted a nap.
But first... spaghetti. <3

"Maybe we should just... sleep?" I asked, "The baby is making me so tired and he's not even here yet..." I wasn't decided on a gender, I just kind of said he or she.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I smiled suddenly and hugged him tightly, "Okay, let me put the stuff away and then we'll go to bed."
Work was hard. Why is work so hard? D:

I helped her clean up, and then held her hand the whole way to the bedroom. Not just to help her in case she fell, but I loved her. I liked holding her hand! =D
Re: And he doesn't even know...
The next morning I woke up to a loud knock on the door and despite wondering who it was I couldn't help but wish they would go away.
I climbed out of bed and walked down the stairs and to the front door. When I opened it I gaped seeing that Dad was standing there with a rather large box under his arm.
"Morning Lauree! Brought you a surprise!"

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I shuffled out of the hall and peered at the door. Dad. Wonderful.
I wanted to sleep! >.<

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I tried not to yawn and failed then pulled my hair back into a pony tail and followed him while he dragged the box inside.
"What room?"
I couldn't see the label, it was wrapped.
"Oh... ours?"
I mouthed an apology to Drew as Dad dragged the box back to our bedroom.

I couldn't smile. Too early. But I did force myself not to frown as I turned around and headed back to the room.
I really hate surprises. >.<

Dad dropped the box off at the empty side of our room, the master in our house was enormous and it felt empty a lot of the time because I hadn't had time to really decorate.
"Be right back." He left and then returned with another box and then another.
"Daddy, what is this?" I asked quickly.
"Start unwrapping." He winked at me and then went back outside. So I turned around and unwrapped the first box. When I was done I gasped, the crib he got looked so fancy and so expensive. But it was beautiful! It made me excited to see what else was there!

I watched closely, letting Lauree open the boxes. She seemed to be having fun!

"It's just like Christmas, Drew!" I cried in excitement, "The baby finally has some things!" I was beyond thrilled.
"Last box!"
"Thank you so much, Dad!" I got up quickly and wrapped my arms around him. A few hours later he had helped put everything together so now one half of our room looked like a nursery.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I was smiling. I had forgotten what it was like to have parents. Sam and Will almost always reminded me. "This is awesome... thanks, Dad."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"You're welcome! Have a wonderful day you two!" Dad was out the door after that and after a couple more hugs.
Then I admired the room, he even got bedding for the crib. <3
"Are you alright, Drew?" I asked with a smile.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"We can move it to another room... I'm just kind of wondering if it wouldn't be a bad thing to have the baby with us for the first few months?" I asked.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"As long as we make sure we move said baby out after those months. Otherwise, we'll be too accustomed to her sleeping with us. She may never leave our room. That would stink." ._.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Fine fine..." I knew he was right but I was a first time mommy and already worried about the sweet little baby. <3
"Maybe... we can put her nursery somewhere else and then at night she can sleep with me." I grinned.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Well, if he or she or whatever it is sleeps with us, you'll never get them out of the bed. I have a friend who that happened to. At two, she tried to move the child into another room. Thirteen years old and she still refuses to sleep on her own."
