"Ugh... more like caving in." I sat down and we left. I thought about getting some snacks but then I figured that they already had supply - knowing dad.

So on the way I called Kyle's mom and asked her to come by so we could all get together. I didn't even tell her we had news or anything.

We rolled happily along the street, and for once in a long while, we actually got happy smiles and glances. A few laughs too! That made me happy. For once, I wasn't being pitied. "I like carrying you around like this."

"I like seeing you happy." I kissed his head and sighed happily, things seemed to just perk right up again and that was the best thing ever. Nothing kept us down for long!

"I like being happy with you!" I replied eagerly. We were arriving at their house and Mom was waiting outside for us.

"Kyle, Rhema! How did it go?" She called.

"Good! We'll tell you soon!" I called back.

I wiggled my nubs and grinned. "Look, Mom! No han- uh... feet!" Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best joke, but I found it pretty funny. The most interesting part of the night though would be my biological mother. She hadn't seen me and I don't think we ever told her that my legs were actually... gone.

"Not funny, Kyle!" Mom said but she smiled anyway and then looked over me with wide eyes, "Rhema you've gotten so biiig!" She said, emphasizing the word 'big'.

"I know, I can't wait to hear 'Rhema you've shrunk!'." I laughed. She helped Kyle up the steps and then all we had to do was wait for my mommy-in-law to get in.

Which didn't take too much longer. I heard her step inside and greet Rhema's parents. She talked with them for a few minutes or so before finally exclaiming: "Okay, where's my son?!"

I gulped I wanted to see her, but I knew she'd be shocked. It'd be an even bigger shock though because I was wearing shorts...

I wheeled myself into the living room with a smile. "Hi mom!"

And I was right. She didn't expect it. She started crying almost immediately.

Oh mom... why? "You're making me cry too, Mom."

Dad was standing close by looking away, I knew he was holding back something but I wasn't sure what he was thinking and Mom was in the other room putting snacks together because she wanted to give them a moment.

I walked out to give them a moment too. I sat on the other side of the wall just listening.

Before I knew it she had run over to me and was hugging me tight. I hugged her back too.

"I'm so sorry!"

I frowned. "For what?"

"I'm sorry for encouraging you that you could walk again! I-I didn't know they were gone."

"N-No, mom... it's okay! I knew you were being supportive, and thanks for that. I really needed that letter."

"Your... uh..."

"Nubs?"

"Yeah... can you move them?"

I nodded with a grin, even though she was still crying a river. "Yeah, look!" I wiggled them up and down. "The babies will have fun playing with them, I'm sure!" I laughed.

I slapped my hand over my mouth and spotted Dad and Mom both giving Kyle very questioning glances, wondering if he meant our current future child and future children in general.

I got up and walked out into the open again. He had their pictures in his wallet.

"Babies?" Mom asked.

I gulped and looked at my mother. She was eying me suspiciously now and wiping away tears. Then I looked up at Rhema. "Uh... ah... sorry... I spoiled the surprise..."

"What was the surprise?" Dad apparently only caught part of it. We had to get them all sat down in the living room and I had to get Kyle to pull out the pictures.

"Um... so this is our little boy." The picture went around starting with Dad.

"He's big!"

"That's what Kyle said." I smiled. I had to hand the girl one too so they could compare really. >.<

"This is our little girl."

Mom screamed and jumped up, "AH! TWINS! <3"

"TWINS?!" My mother went wild too... and she couldn't even wait for her turn! She jumped up immediately and ran to Dad, staring over his shoulder. "Ohhhh!!!!! He IS big! Awww! And baby girl is so tiny! Awww!!! Who's gonna come out first?"

I gulped. "I think she said the boy-"

"OH! A big brother! Aww!!!!"<3

Mom was up next, she was kind of short so she was hopping a little to see the pictures, Dad finally just handed them over and then the other two hovered over her.

I stared, they were just in awe by this and I couldn't help but giggle.

"Yep, baby boy is coming first." I patted my belly. They were still looking at the pictures.

It was then that I knew I had to give them copies.

"Ohhh!!!! I've got to find baby boy clothes! And baby girl clothes too! But people tend to forget the boys so I'll get him lots of clothes!!" Mom was well versed in this. ._.

"Hanna!!! We need to go on a shopping spree for baby clothes!!!"

Wow, Mom. Wow.

I laughed though and kissed my love, who was sitting with me again upon my request... and fussing. "I think they're enthused..." I whispered.

"Oh indeed, we just made their days I think..." I laughed a little bit. They couldn't seem to tear themselves away from the pictures so I had to ask Dad if I could use his copy machine.

He didn't mind one bit! 8D

So they each got copies. Yay. <3

Everyone sat down to snacks so we started to talk about names. I hadn't really thought about names until I found out what genders they were so I knew we had to. Dad kept tossing out the ultimately weird names...

and according to Mom he named me. ._.

Mom was the first to throw out a normal name for the girl... "Emily? For the little girl?"

"Aww... I like it..."

"How about Jessica?" Mom asked eagerly.

"How about Catherine?"

"Micah?"

I kept hearing names left and right, "But what if none of the names suit her face at all?" I asked.

Dad grinned, "I think the boy should be Jacob! We can make it a tradition!"

"Dad... you just want him to be named after you..." ^^;

All these names were making me dizzy, it didn't help that I was writing down some of them for consideration. It would have been so much easier with one child but two gave us double the names and middle names for them.

"I like Trinity too." I said as I wrote that down. As more names went around the table I noticed that my chest was hurting a little. I looked at Kyle and gave him my biggest grin ever to assure him that I was okay but in all reality I really wanted to go home.

"Yeah...." I could tell she was tired of this. I had learned to read her pretty well, and this was one of those times it came in handy. "Well, we need to get going home..."

"Aw, already?" Mom asked with a pout, "Well... alright." She smiled and gave each of us hugs and kisses and Dad shook Kyle's hand before hugging me.
