Ian and Katie were just all over him, I stood back taking a couple pictures of the cake and watching the moments they were having. I snapped a few shots of that as well.

My life just kept on getting better. <3

"OH! We made Daddy a card too!" Katie exclaimed, bouncing up and down on my lap.

"Oh really? You did?!"

"Yeah!!! I wanna show you!!" She said, and then climbed down to go and find it.

Ian followed her as fast as he could.

"So has this birthday been the best birthday ever?" I asked after I took lots of pictures and was cutting into the cake for him.

"Every birthday with my family is the best birthday ever." I grinned. "It can't be beat!"

"We're back!!" Katie yelled, holding her brother's hand in one hand and the card in the other. The cutest part?

"We found it!" Ian said and then made sure that Katie gave it to him. They made the most adorable birthday cards!

I opened it up and laughed at the contents, which were much the same as the cake. There were also very many drawings all over it! "Wow, I love you guys too! Come here and let me give you another hug!!"

Ian hugged Kyle and laughed wildly, he was having a good time, I could tell! I cut them each a piece of the cake and then set it at their kiddy table where they could eat together.

"Okay kids, cake time!"

I gave Kyle some too. I wasn't very hungry... too much pasta...

"I liked beating them!"

*Two Months Later*

*Ian*

I found Mommy on the floor in her bedroom this morning and she said she was looking for the phone. It got misplaced again, I decided to help her look a little bit when I heard her say 'ow' and then she laid down. I kept looking for the phone though but I never found it.

Mommy was sad, I could tell even though she said she was just really sleepy.

I went to talk to Katie about this, "Mommy said the baby stopped payin' went and wants to move out now." I sighed, "I don't get it."

So that is what led us to staring at the door, anxiously waiting for Daddy to get home.

I opened the door to see two three year olds sitting by the door and staring at it... then me when I came into view.

"Daddy!" Katie said with a massive frown. I think she'd been crying. "Ian tell Daddy what Mommy said!"

I looked at Daddy with really big eyes and then took a deep breath, it was a mouthful after all!

"Mommy said that the baby stopped paying w-rent and wants to m-move out now!" These words had been said hours ago. I had no idea how important it was that Daddy arrived sooner than that.

It was at that point I wished I could run. >.< Running is more dramatic. "Rhema!!" I exclaimed, rolling as fast as I could to the elevator to get to our room. "Kids..." There wasn't enough time to get dad to drive us. "Stay there! I'll be down in a minute!" I pressed the button repeatedly and no matter what, this elevator wasn't fast enough for what I needed! >.<

*Rhema*

I was next to the bed on my knees, I had gotten there at one point and couldn't get any further, I'd lost track of time even. I still had not found the phone but when I looked at the clock I knew that Kyle would be here soon. Why did it have to hurt so terribly?

I wasn't sure what to do, I didn't have the twins normally and I was not experienced in anything beyond light contractions - this was beyond painful. I heard Kyle calling me but I couldn't move so I just sat there wishing I'd told him I wasn't feeling well this morning instead.

I finally got up to her and rolled quickly(see? Would sound so much cooler if rolled was replaced with ran) to her. "Rhema!! Rhema, can you get in my lap?" I was already Dialing 911 on my cellphone.

I tried to move but it hurt like crazy. I got onto his lap and tried not to squeeze his hands because I knew he had to control the chair.

"I don't want to scare the kids..." I cried, "If they see an ambulance..." I was worried they would think something was really really wrong with me.

"We'll let them ride and that might make them feel better."

"Yes, my wife is in labor and we need an ambulance here right away. I'm handicapped and can't drive the vehicle..."

I gave her our information to get to us and she actually let me hang up when she heard the kids screaming in the background.

"Daddy Daddy!!" Katie screamed when we got downstairs. "Is Mommy ota-okay?!"

I looked up and started to move, I wanted to reassure them that I was fine so they wouldn't worry too much. I got off his lap and leaned against the door when I got close to it.

"I'm fine!" I called down to them, "It's okay! And if someone knocks at the door just let them in, just this once!" I called.

"Okay!!" Ian shouted back to me.

Peaceful moment over.

"Oow!" I crashed to my knees again. And to think I still wanted three more children after this.

I sighed. "Why did you get up? I can't drag you into the living room." I glanced nervously at the door. It was too soon for them to be here, but I really wished it weren't. "Just... breathe normally."

"You try to breathe normally when something the size of a watermelon is coming, you have NO idea how awful this feels!" My breath caught in my throat and I could barely even think straight. It'd gotten pretty bad and I couldn't even get some ice.

"Oh, yeah... s-sorry." I gulped and just sat there and stared at my nubs while the kids watched the door. "Sorry that I can't do anything to help. I'm pretty much useless right now."

"It's okay, it just hurts a lot and I'm a little bit scared..." I leaned against the wall and tried to breathe like he told me to but that was pointless. It barely worked at all.

"I'm sorry... so you want some hot chocolate after this is all done?" I was trying to think of yummy treats she might like without provoking her to yell at me again. That kinda hurt. But... she was in pain so it was totally forgivable.

"Yeah... oh yeah that sounds really good." I tried not to yell at him, it was getting better for the moment and I just gave him a weak smile. "Maybe with marshmallows and... whipped cream." I replied. "I can't have this baby here... I don't even know what to do."

Okay so that would scare him if I was that concerned about it. >.< Neither of us had done this before.
