Re: And he doesn't even know...
And I was wearing my old, big grin. It felt weird because I hadn't smiled in a while, but I was too happy to not smile!
I ran off to get her cherry pie, and apple for myself. It was my favorite. I came back with the plates and our drinks and sat back down. "Now, let's dig in!"

Re: And he doesn't even know...
It was the perfect reunion and we had a beautiful conversation and it was like no time passed at all.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I was happy. I was actually glad I had had a hard time forgetting her. If I had forgotten her, I'd be missing something great right about now.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
Change seemed to happen quickly when I decided it was time to move out of my parents house and finally get up and on my own.
I was buying my first home and it was really scary but exciting. I decided to take Drew with me! <3

I looked around the space in which I believed was the living room, and smiled. It's a nice living room. >w>
"It's not as big as the other house, but I like the living room..."

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Yeah..." It had hard wood floors and the kitchen was really nice with new stuff in it. I was skeptical though with the bedrooms.
"There's only two and the second is really small."
The Realtor named Renee, looked at me and laughed, "Well you're living alone aren't you?"
I frowned, "Not forever..."
"We can look somewhere different then."
We ended up at a rather large house with four bedrooms. Upon walking in it smelled like cedar and it was located about thirty minutes away from work. But I loved it as soon as I saw how open it was.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Now this... this is nice..." I said with a smile. "I like this a lot..."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I linked arms with him and pulled him close to me, "Can you picture living with me here?" I asked him in an excited tone, still slurring a little bit. The first question Renee asked me was if I was drunk or something. OnO
I was beginning to feel giddy though, this house was huge but it had so much character. The spiral stairs leading up to the second floor, the large open doorway to the kitchen and the island right in the middle. I could see a big family dinner in there.
"And look, can you picture Thanksgiving and Christmas here?"

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"I can picture a lifetime here." I said with a grin, tightening my arm around her's. I wouldn't let her go now! >3
Re: And he doesn't even know...
We finished looking at the house and by the time we were done I decided to bid on it. And when that happened Dad showed up to give me his two cents.
"Don't..."
I almost zoned out but I had to listen to all his 'don'ts' before I could really bid. Finally I got one out there and the next thing to do was wait.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I sighed and pulled out my lighter, ready light up another smoke. I was tired from walking, and hoped this might give me a slight boost in energy.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I frowned and took it and then took him aside, "Daddy has really severe asthma... you can do it after he leaves, I won't tell you what to do today after this, I know you're tired. I'm sorry." I pulled something out of my pocket, "Lollipop?"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Oh, sorry. I didn't know..." Otherwise I wouldn't have considered it... I took the lollipop though with a smile. "I guess this'll do though." I grinned. "Thanks Karson." I gave her a quick hug, then proceeded to open the wrapper. It was cherry flavor! =3
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I was really relieved. It was too amazing and beautiful of a day to have my father suffer a killer asthma attack. Even if it did happen I knew how to use an EPPI pen but I'd rather not have to.
After he left and we were all leaving I stuck around a bit to let Drew do what he wanted. Eventually though, I hoped that I could help him quit.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Are we going?" I asked, mouth still full of a lollipop. "What are we hanging around for?"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"I was going to let you smoke." I said, "I felt bad for snatching it earlier..." I wondered if I'd really softened up or something. Before I never even tolerated it.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Nah, I'm good. It'll really mess with the taste of this lollipop." I was past my craving for the moment. I could probably last until I went home for the day.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I got in the car and sighed. The lollipop helped? I grinned just then as I realized what kind of breakthrough this could be! 8D
HURRAH! Thank you DUMDUMS.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I sat there, deep in thought for a while before I finally spoke. "Can I call you by Lauree now? I mean, it's been a while..."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I was driving down the steep and kind of bumpy road when he asked me that and I just laughed softly, keeping my eyes on the road.
"If you think you can." I smiled.
"If you think you can." I smiled.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Ah. really?! Awesome!" I was grinning again, as always. "Lauree... It might be hard to remember to call you that. I'm so used to Karson..."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"And that is why I say 'if you can'." I was going to say 'but after we're married' but I stopped myself because if I said something like that he could think I was rushing things.
I wasn't sure how he felt about any of that.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
Was she on to me? Did she know I was planning something? I mean, she did mention living together at that house...
I sighed. So hopefully she didn't realize I was planning... >.>
I glanced at her for any hint. Did she know...?

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"So do you want to go to burger king?" I asked, "Or... maybe Wendy's?" I was really hungry and I wanted something quick.
