Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Only to a few select people." I didn't even want to say that Amber wasn't one of them. I tolerated her and only because I was worried she would explode and do bad things to herself if I broke up with her.
I was hoping if I could be jerky enough she'd kick me to the curb.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Hmm... I guess." I said with a shrug. "Anyway, I also need your help study for the math midterm I have Wednesday. Maybe you can help me with that tomorrow night? Or are you doing something with Amber?"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I sighed and leaned down close to her and whispered, "Amber can take a hike then, we'll just study." I sat back up, I was annoyed with Amber to no end.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Thanks! You know how horrible I am with that stuff... and you're so good at it. I envy you sometimes." I kicked the seat in front of us to wake up the kid sleeping there. We were stopping at his house.
"Oh!! Ah! Thanks again, Molly!"
"It's Sam." I said with a slightly irritated sigh as he ran down the isle, barely holding his stuff.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"I know, I'll help you out and you'll pass, I promise." This was the best excuse to get away from Amber yet!
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"That makes me feel tons better!" And now we arrived at Will's house. "You going home or coming to my house tonight? Mom's making pizzas."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I decided to just ride with her, "Dad's home from a business trip and I don't feel like suffocating." I explained wearily. "He's just not... understanding."
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Oh... yeah, it's probably for the best. Besides, pizza should be the deciding factor anyway!" I laughed, releasing a small giggle in the process. I rarely giggled. Everyone always told me that God kills a baby when I giggle. I don't think that's true. I think God saves a baby every time I giggle. Wait, maybe I should giggle more?
Re: And he doesn't even know...
The bus started going again after I explained that I was riding to a friends house. I was relieved to not have to go home because I didn't really feel like laying in a death bed.
"Thanks, pizza is definitely a good idea."

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Pizza and Mahjong. There is nothing better!" I exclaimed, shoving some of my things into my backpack. I didn't live too far from William so after a while, we'd be at my house.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Nothing better than that combination after a long and rather annoying day." I replied, giving her a high five.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Yeah!" And in a bit, we were on the front porch to my house... and I was searching for my key. "Augh! I can't find my key! Will, lemme use yours!" Yeah, he had a key to my house in case he needed to sleep over do to... stuff or not.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I pulled mine out of my pocket and moved to unlock the door before slipping it back into my left pocket.
"Alright, pizza here we come!"
"Alright, pizza here we come!"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Yum yum!!" I ran in before him, dropping my backpack on the floor by the door and pulling my shoes off, I called to my mother. "Moooom! William came over for dinner!"
"I figured!" She called, obviously laughing. It always seemed he was here when we had pizza.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I dropped my backpack close by it and could only wonder what her mother was laughing at. Or was it because I, the jolly green giant, was in the house once again?
"I would have gone home but pizza sounded appealing and my dad is back from business." I said.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Psh. Mom doesn't care. You know she loves you!" I nudged him with a grin. "You're like the son she never had."
"Pepperoni?" She called loudly, "Or Supreme?"
"Pepperoni?" She called loudly, "Or Supreme?"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I knew this, I spent a lot of time at this house growing up especially after my mom died.
"Pepperoni please!" I called back.
"Pepperoni please!" I called back.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"Yes, Pepperoni is wonderful!!" I called too before grabbing Will's hand and dragging him to the stairs so we could play Mahjong. "Call us when it's ready please!!"
"I will, sweetie!"
"I will, sweetie!"
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I followed her up, eager to play some Mahjong with Sammy when my phone rang.
"Dad..." I sighed. I didn't want to talk to him, not now anyway. I shoved my phone in my pocket and then sat down on Sammy's bed.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
"On the computer or should we use the actual tiles? We can shuffle the tiles on the computer..." I said, contemplating what we should do.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"I don't care, whatever you want to do is fine." I grinned, tracing the shape of an oval stitched into the comforter. My stomach growled.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"The computer! That way we don't have to keep rebuilding the thing!" I pulled a second rolly chair beside the computer for him when he got ready for it and tracked down the mahjong program on the computer.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
I coughed a little bit as I waited for the program to start up.
"You have a good point there." I replied.
"You have a good point there." I replied.
Re: And he doesn't even know...
"You okay?" I asked, not noticing that mahjong had started until it began blaring "serene" japanese music at me and I promptly screamed and fell out of my chair.
Oh, the chair fell on me too. Joy upon joys.

Re: And he doesn't even know...
I ignored her question and moved the chair and then started to help her up, but I wanted to make sure her head was okay first.
"You shouldn't overreact like that. Are you alright?" I asked in concern.
