Here are some tips to be better at roleplaying and making your experience more memorable!

1. Think about what you want to roleplay!

There are so many things you can roleplay! You could be a chef, a doctor, or even a knight! You could find inspiration from a story you read, an object, a picture, a drawing you did, or even straight from your own imagination!

2. Do some research on your subject!

Whenever you're doing a roleplay, drawing a picture, or writing a story, it helps a lot to do some research. Wikipedia is a good start as well as some encyclopedias. For fandom roleplays, you can check out the source material, whether it is a TV show, a book, a comic, or even a video game! Just get to know the characters and imagine how they would react in various situations. Some Live Journal sites even offer a good source of research as the people there would happily offer their experiences(sometimes going into TMI, so be careful!). No matter what the subject, a little research goes a long way, especially when it comes to roleplaying!

Make sure everyone can take part!

You can have a role play with a main character but make sure you give everyone else an important role. It is very important or people will get bored eventually. Let's say your character is the princess, make sure someone can play the love interest, prince or even a bad guy! It will be so much more fun that way!
