"No, he won't..." Amoneha couldn't stop smiling as she watched her brother fumble nervously over the vows, he had come up with his own and his hand writing, apparently, was hard to read. "She's very good for him."

"She is... he's always bragging her. They'll be very happy together, I'm sure." Adder couldn't stop smiling.

"Every man should have a good woman by his side, if she will accept him." Adder was surprised by the quiet voice between them. King Steven had come to join them. "Don't you agree?" He grinned.

"O-Oh, yeah! I agree!" Adder nodded, his cheeks flushing a bit.

Amoneha blushed a little bit, she still had some feelings for the king... but also for Adder. She huffed, standing next to them both wasn't helping anything but she couldn't move from her place. It would be too strange to move suddenly so she wouldn't look flustered.

It also didn't help that they were talking about what men needed... she couldn't say anything! She wasn't a man. "Curses..." She mumbled to herself.

King Steven nodded, still grinning. "But see, that's the key thing, isn't it? If she will accept him. Some girls just pick the wrong guy, because they don't want their relationship with the right guy to change, because if they court him, and break up, then it might ruin the relationship..."

"Well, then that relationship wasn't very strong in the first place." Adder frowned.

"Exactly!"

"Wait... why are we even talking about this?" Adder sighed and shook his head. "There is a wedding going on..."

"Oh! Right! I shall take a seat now then!" The king then walked off to take a seat with a funny grin on his face.

"That was odd..."

"Yes..." Amoneha said in a sigh, "He's very philosophical." She glanced at Adder and then looked away. Why did his words feel like such a stab?

Adder nodded a bit. "Yeah... I guess he is." He raised his brows a bit, still a bit surprised by the king's behavior.

The wedding was beautiful to watch, Kynen and Rina were so cute together and Amoneha was proud of them. She sat alone after they were gone and stirred a drink sitting in front of her.

[Jayrin]

"That looks tasty." Adder commented with a crooked smile. He took a seat beside her and rested his head in his hands. "What're you drinking?"

[Ikuar]

"Something that probably isn't good for me." Amoneha giggled, her cheeks were a little red. "I need to indulge every so often though, right... hmm?"

[Jayrin]

"Yeah, I guess so..." Adder nodded a bit, and grinned. "You're cute when your cheeks get red like that." He chuckled.

[Ikuar]

"Oh...?" Amoneha took a long sip of the offending drink, "Well you are cute right now, being... who you are. Adder..."

[Jayrin]

"Ah... I am?" Adder's cheeks reddened... she'd never said anything like that, so he wasn't certain how to react. "I didn't know you thought that way..."

[Ikuar]

"Siddown!" Amoneha pulled him by the arm and down into a chair. "Huh...ahah..." She took another sip, "Always cute! Like Seeven... my beau... the crush I had before he was even crowned... hm... but then you came and suddenly you flipped over the world, like that! Just... you messed it up and then put it back together with your bare hands... then you go and say... Iluh you. What do I say? I don't think... I know."

[Jayrin]

Adder's eyes were wide... he'd never seen her like this... was she even conscious, or was her body on auto-pilot? "W-Well, I gave you time to think. But... if you love Steven, you should be with him... right?" Wait, what was he saying? He loved her more than the world, and he was telling her to be with someone else? He gulped, she was a very talkative drunk. "I mean... he loves you, and you loved him, r-right?" Adder's heart was pounding loudly in his ears... he wondered if she could hear it.

[Ikuar]

"Ayyy...? No, I can't court him because he's the king... I'malow... seer. I love you too but if I say it then what happens then? What thennn...?"

[Jayrin]

Adder's eyes were as wide as saucers. "W-Well then... I suppose we would begin courting if... you told me that." He gulped again.

[Ikuar]

"Hmm... Innersting... I feel a little..." Amoneha coughed into her hand and pushed the empty glass away. "sad lately..."

[Jayrin]

Adder relaxed a little and sat forward again. "Um... why have you been sad? Did I do something wrong?"

[Ikuar]

"Nooo... cnot feel anythiiing... then there's the whole... luh you... I want to tell Adder but what... I'm afraid..."

[Jayrin]

Adder sighed some. She didn't even know who he was anymore. "I think you should tell him in the morning." Adder replied, standing up. "Come on, you need to take a break from the drinks for now, and we can talk some more." He held out his hand to her.

[Ikuar]

Amoneha took his hand and stood but as soon as she was up the whole room spun around her, she bent over and threw up on the ground. There was no one to see them so humiliation wasn't something to be concerned about. She was too sick to even think about that.

[Jayrin]

Adder sighed a bit and picked her up in his arms. She was so far gone that it was sad... he was never going to take her anywhere near alcohol again. "Your face is really red."

[Ikuar]

Amoneha moaned, "Mmm... Adder might be upset at me... for going with another man."

[Jayrin]

"Yeah... he probably will be. We'll have to explain to him that you didn't do anything, and you just slept all night. Hm, with how much King Steven loves you though, he'd probably be just as upset as Adder over you going with some other man."

[Ikuar]

Amoneha was out cold in an instant, she probably heard none of it. When she woke up the lights coming through the windows were too bright and her head felt like it was being stabbed. "Mmm... where am I?" She muttered painfully.
